You need to pay for everything: calls (if smth urgent and after working hours), professional cleaning, etc. Furthermore, vacuum cleaners and irons are unavailable for more than 5 months. Lockers of the room... People often mention Unity, contract, room,

I cannot recommend Unity Kista Campus! If you already spend 700€ for this, maybe it is worth considering moving to ALLIHOOP which is more costly (1000€) but the concept which Unity is pretending to follow seems to be way more fulfilled over there. Here's why: Even before moving in, I had several issues because of inconsistent communication. I asked for a contract starting in August which was okay according to an employee. Days later I received a contract with the starting date as of September without any explanation. Due to short notice I needed to sign even though that would have meant that I need a hotel from mid of August to beginning of September. After contract signing I received an email which said that my contract start date needs to be moved to mid of August. I was happy because then I wouldn't need to book any expensive hotel room in the high season. I didn't receive any confirmation about the contract change, however thought at this point of time that I can trust them. At the moving in date mid of August, I received another unfriendly mail which said that they told me before my contract starts in September so I cannot move in on the day mid of August. So I needed to book a hotel room (1000€) for 2 weeks. Starting the experience in Unity like this of course makes me a bit biased. Nevertheless I will give some impressions: The area around is not what you may expect when coming to Sweden. However, very good connection to the station and to any grocery stores. There is an outdoor gym, soccer fields and some "nature" close to the dorm, which is great. Nevertheless, within Unity the offerings for a comfortable stay are very limited. Laundry rooms and other common rooms are only open until 10pm, they are threatening you that you need to pay a fee (500€) if you enter the room after that time. Given that the reservation system is not working properly and you are blocking an appliance for the whole meantime until the time of reservation, it was very hard especially at the beginning when utilization was higher to get your laundry done. Vacuum cleaners/ irons etc. have disappeared long time ago, and they don't buy new ones (Would be an easy fix, buy vacuum cleaners which can be located or buy one for each room). Unity is doing very little to keep the common rooms attractive. E.g. there is a ping pong place, but the rackets are broken since months (costs 10€), but no one cares. Kitchen looks always messy, because tenants don't feel responsible to clean it up after there cookings. From Unity there seems to be no effort to clean up the kitchen like twice in a month (not sure about it). I agree that this is not a management problem in the first place, but much more a problem of tenants attitude. However, for me it shows that there is no community feeling because no one cares about leaving the common places at least as good as you have found it. There is a bike garage, which is good, however, some bikes were stolen from there. Support from Unity is missed. Thats a pity, because there are nice places to bike in the area. Unity is pretending to have cameras. First, they are in places which make little sense. You should move cameras from laundry room to bike storage, so that you can lower risk of theft and have opportunities to investigate (of course therefore willingness of support is as well necessary). Second, the cameras are only used to threaten tenants when they want you to clean up the kitchen properly e.g., but not to help tenants when their belongings were stolen. Then all of a sudden it says cameras are not working. Even things of no value are suddenly disappearing within Unity, but no help is offered even though it was urgent because it was necessary to fly back to the home country. Even though Unity Kista and Unity Kista Campus, management office is not using synergies, they just restricted access to a bigger gym for the majority. To some it up, talking about a management office within Unity is rather a joke. Lina is the only one who is doing a great job within Unity!! But one Lina cannot help all 300 tenants.

You need to pay for everything: calls (if smth urgent and after working hours), professional cleaning, etc. Furthermore, vacuum cleaners and irons are unavailable for more than 5 months. Lockers of the rooms randomly stop working and you are locked out and need to pay for a call to management. The air conditioning system is bad and a lot of dust gets to your room through it. Location is not great for the price that u need to pay.
