Beautiful 18th-19th century environments, but only presented with information in Swedish and not always in very pedagogic or professional ways. Activities are plentiful. Probably an excellent visit for Swedish speaking families with small/young children.

A nice place for hanging around with kids and they may learn more about the old farms life in Sweden

A very cozy place, similar to folk festival, where you could see metal work, clay pot making, beautiful houses of swedish folk style. There were animals (no feeding allowed) and funny performances every day.

It is an open air museum with attractions for kids. There is a little bit of the sweden history of how the houses, farm, schools and workshops were a long time ago.

What a hidden gem. 40 minutes south of Stockholm "Old Södertälje" is a real find. There is so much to see and do for all ages. Buildings from 1700s, animals, pony riding, live shows, a steam train (to look at only). Well worth a visit!

Great place to be with kids, animals and play areas, lot of activities in summer, enough parking space which are free on Sundays and holidays. Entrance is free on most days expect the days mentioned in website

A very beautiful place that is definitely worth a visit. Entry is free and the small town imitation is definitely impressive. The prices for individual items are really great. And the place is also worthwhile as a viewing platform. The staff was friendly and you felt comfortable walking through the museum.

A really nice park with a “countryside” area and “city” area all placed in the 1800 style. Really worth the visit and it’s free! Lots of animals (cows, chickens, ducks, geese, horses, pigs)

A great trip with kids and unwinding. A wonderful place to stay and discover for young and old how crafts and agriculture were practiced in Sweden, combined with great game ideas for the children. You can always go back there.

Nicely decorated and it would certainly be interesting if the houses were open for viewing... arrived at 3 a.m. - open until 4 a.m. but everything was already closed so we only had a 20 minute walk through the grounds. Very disappointing.

Outdoor adventure close to domestic cattle and nature. Old style houses and craft shops. Good way to spend the time with family and easy to have safe distance. Good tables and benches for picnics and rest. Fantastic views and right now there is a quiz promenade available

Beautiful place to take a walk and be inspired (if you are in to those things), with some nice activities for the kids, and a lot of room for play.

Nice upgrade from earlier years. It is now organized with lots of fun for the whole family. Petting animals and jumping in hay.
