You
need
to
plan
to
be
here
at
least
5-6
hours
in
total
and
bring
lots
of
snacks.
And
most
of
it
will
be
spent
sitting
in
the
waiting
room
or
in
a
secondary
waiting
area
or
in
a
room.
This
is
our
second
visit.
First:
daughter
with
broken
arm,
we
did
have
to
wait
a
lot
but
the
whole
thing:
2
x
rays,
examination,
casting
and
waiting
was
5.5
hours.
They
had
us
come
back
2
days
later
to
realign
the
bone
under
sedation
and
that
was
about
4
hours
in
total.
Aside
from
the
waiting
the
doctors
and
nurses
were
all
great.
Today
we
came
for
a
concussion,
we
were
told
to
come
if
symptoms
didn’t
resolve
or
got
worse.
We
have
been
here
almost
9.5
hours
and
although
we
were
seen
quickly
by
the
triage
nurse,
it’s
been
3
hours
of
waiting
in
the
hall,
with
my
child
not
tolerating
light
and
noise
and
very
dizzy,
then
finally
told
to
come
into
an
exam
room
where
the
doctor
will
see
us,
and
have
now
been
sitting
here
for
another
6.5
hours.
The
nurses
at
the
station
cannot
say
how
long
it
will
be
to
see
a
doctor.
I
had
to
go
to
them
to
request
water
as
my
child
(and
I)
is
hungry
and
thirsty.
If
we
get
no
testing
and
just
told
nothing
but
rest
and
Alvedon
after
all
this
time
I
will
scream.
Update:
doctor
finally
came
after
7
hours
waiting
in
the
examination
room.
She
was
very
nice,
but
the
almost
10
hour
wait
left
a
terrible
impression.
