We spent ten days at the stunning Hotel Aristide and it was a wonderful experience. A hotel of its own kind with a serious design vision, lavishly cozy with art everywhere. The gorgeous mansion was renovated to the highest standard with a lovely garden and an amazing rooftop with a beautiful view. Our room was elegant and lavish, spotlessly clean and thoughtfully equipped. The bathroom offered a wow factor all on its own with lots of little extras. Decoration and the colour palette are extraordinary. Each morning we enjoyed our delicious breakfast in the garden. The dinner menu was inspired and made from fresh ingredients, organic and local. Not to mention the cocktails and the bartender performing magic every night…Plus the high standard of service. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and efficient. They made us feel at home. Plus the owner, Oana, herself. Can't wait to go back.

The Aristide Hotel and Restaurant are a must if you are visiting Syros Island. The hotel is elegant and comfortable with lovely staff and owners. They make your stay truly memorable. Each of the rooms have their own personality. It is hard to chose a favorite. The rooftop restaurant is a special spot to have dinner. The chef makes use of local ingredients in a modern, inventive manner. Breakfast in the courtyard is included with the room and is a delicious way to start the day. The bartender prides himself on being a master. You can't go wrong with his concoctions. The location is great. It is an easy stroll into the town and close to the swimming platform loved by the locals.

This hotel lives up to the standards one should expect from a 5 start hotel. The property is gorgeous and well maintained (every detail is considered). Staff are professional, friendly and extremely helpful (whether it is recommending where to go or making reservations for you, even on short notice). The food and cocktails are great (and they have the most reasonably price Dom P. I’ve ever seen). Despite being on an island this is a world class hotel and one of the best we have stayed at. The Aristide Hotel is a gorgeous designed, luxurious boutique hotel. Every details has been thought of: hair straighteners, skin care in re usable containers, beach towels, filtered cold water delivered throughout the day to name a few. Impressive art collection. Excellent breakfasts and the best bar staff and coffee in all of Syros. The courtyard was the perfect oasis for remote work during the day and a drink in the evenings. Highly recommended. I will definitely return.

we spent a week in Aristide Hotel in July. and it was one of the hotel stays i will always remember. of course the building and the interior decoration are flawless. the use of marble is done so well and tastefully and there are so many beautiful design details, without being overdesigned. it's nice to be in a city rather than isolated and beautiful beaches are a short ride away. the food was a beautiful surprise and i was anticipating breakfast every morning. what sets the hotel apart is the service, personal and attentive, without being overbearing. the energy was great, and very genuine. i am already dreaming of coming back :)

Perfect design, perfect location, perfect staff. Oftentimes, hotels that are beautifully designed feel can feel a bit impersonal, as if your actual experience in the space is just getting in the way of it looking good. That is not the case here -- rooms and amenities are comfortable and thoughtful. Outside the room, Oana and the entire staff are wonderful and made us feel so welcome. They provided excellent recommendations for things to do on Syros as well. On top of all that, the hotel restaurant produced the best meals of my trip (and frankly some of my all-time favorite culinary memories, ever). I could not recommend this hotel more - it is my favorite place I have ever stayed. Do not hesitate - go! And say hi to Alexia the lovely hotel dog for me!

I am torn between telling the world about Aristide or keeping it a wonderful secret. Everything was perfection. From the beautiful terrazzo and marble floors to every little decor and life touch, this hotel is perfection. Exceptional and fun staff. Peaceful garden with a mansion-sized waterfall for delicious made-to-order breakfasts or nighttime drinks just 1 step outside my favorite room in the hotel - the bar. The artwork!!!! Everywhere! And the amazing owner, Oana, who can talk about every piece of art and artist. Loved all the thoughtfulness that went into the bathroom. And its deliberate consciousness towards conservation. With a very comfortable bed on top of it all. And of course the rooftop dining room. Now the secret is out. Good luck to Oana and her magical staff and hotel.

Such a wonderful establishment staffed with the most skilled professionals . The aura of the surroundings is magnificent . Despite all this you absolutely feel at home rather than a guest . My sincere congratulations to the chef who drove us out of orbit with his in other ways familiar but uniquely executed recipes . The word that best describes my visit and treatment was simply , an "experience " ! Thank you .

Where to start with this place! It is hidden away on an innocuous looking street but what a space they have created inside. It is warm and inviting and spectacularly decorated. My wife is an interior design nut and hse was constantly finding little gems in the decor. The rooms were splendid with a plunge pool to take off the heat! The service was equally incredible. We arrived to be greeted by a welcome drink of champagne and they organised a late lunch on our balcony with some fantastic fresh fish and pasta. I am Gluten free and the chef personally came out to talk through options with me. The staff were helpful in suggesting places for us to visit and eat. We had an incredible stay at Aristide for our wedding in Syros in May. The hotel is absolutely stunning, unique, and extremely comfortable, it’s even more beautiful in the flesh. We stayed in Dionyssos Suite which was massive and had an incredible bathroom. The breakfast is delicious, the rooftop has breathtaking views but the best thing about the hotel is the team. From first point of contact Yiannis was so helpful and accommodating before we had even got to the hotel arranging early check in and rooftop drinks for our guests. During our stay the team went above and beyond to make our wedding stay really special. Thank you so much for such a memorable stay. Highly recommend and we can’t wait to come back!

One of the best places I have ever stayed in Greece! This is a gorgeous mansion renovated to the highest standard in quiet part of Ermopouli, with a lovely interior garden. Great service, too. The beds are amazingly comfortable, bed sheets and towels are of the highest quality. The furniture is modern and artistic. Excellent bath products from a local brand called Aegean Beauty.

Like Syros, the Aristide Hotel is overflowing in charm, beauty and friendly people. It really feels a home away from home with the added luxury of a stunning rooftop bar, charming garden, beautifully designed rooms and smiley staff always more than happy to help. It is such a thoughtfully put together, unique space with beautiful art everywhere and bold, uplifting colours. It totally captured our hearts. It wasn’t just lovely to look at, the attention to detail is also applied to the food and drink, with incredible cocktails and truly delicious food. Breakfast every day was a genuine delight. Our room was perfect, with lovey additional touches such as really good local face cream, cleanser, shampoo and conditioner. We loved our stay at the Aristide, it has the luxury of a high end hotel but manages to be personal alongside this. We have already vowed to come back every year.

And incredible stay in Syros. I have had the opportunity to travel a lot work and pleasure but this is by far one of the best properties I have stayed at. How the hotel came to be an incredible story by itself. Oana (the owner) has painstakingly created the most beautiful property on the island. Her attention to detail is evident as you walk through the property and the individual rooms. The staff at the hotel deserve a special mention. They are warm, friendly and make your stay memorable. At times one forgets it’s a hotel and you get more of the ‘home vibes’ here. Definitely try out the bar. Konstantinos is an incredible bartender and serves up the most delicious cocktails. He even gave us a quick class! Highly recommend you book your next stay here !

We LOVED this hotel. The hotel was quite well converted from previous tax office in Syros. The designer furnitures and art pieces were everywhere in both public and private spaces. Our room was quite tastefully designed with a large extra king size bed. The vibe in garden was so tranquil that we spent lots of time having brunch, coffee, reading or just sitting there with sound of mini water fall. The view on the rooftop was stunning, especially during the sunset. The colors of houses in Syros matched perfectly with colors of sky and sea. We had dinner there one night. The food was delicious and choice of wine list was extensive. We enjoyed it very much. The highlight was actually the picnic (or we could say proper dinner) organized by the hotel in the farm where the hotel restaurant grow its mots of vegetables. The multi-courses traditional Greek food with Greek wines were served in the long table under the lemon trees. We shared table with other around 15 hotel guests. Of course, the food, fresh made by the chef and introduced by Dan, was outstanding. But the warm interactions between guests was one of the kind. It felt like we were having dinner with old friends instead of guests we met only an hour ago. The whole experience was just memorable. Another thing need to mention is that the hotel was right above an urban swimming platform. It was free and the water was so clean and clear. We could spend hours swimming and lounging over there. Last but not the least. The service from Dan and his team was the best. Always willing to help and you could tell the pride when they shared the stories of hotel with guests. Special thanks to them for the generous help after my unfortunate sea urchin incident. Overall, we highly recommend Aristide Hotel if you ever come to visit Syros, where we also recommend from the bottom of hearts. It has became one of our favorite hotels around the world. We can’t wait to go back in the near future.

The view of the roof restaurant was really hidden by the wrong choice of low furniture and stool which was not for dinner. The service was slow since the kitchen and bar where on the ground floor and the really nice personnel had to to go down and up 2 floors down...the WC the same. The terrace has to be reinvented...sorry.

Superb boutique hotel exquisitely furnished with stylish details. Unique deco putting a modern take on a carefully renovated villa. Stellar staff and outstanding breakfast/brunch in a leafy green courtyard. We will return annually!
