We had a beautiful experience during our 3 day stay at Shila. I have never been to a boutique hotel quite like it. Everything is completely curated, bespoke and handmade. The room we stayed in “artist atelier” was beyond gorgeous, the photos online did not do it justice (even tho they look amazing on there too) it was super spacious, had a large balcony, two bathrooms (super nice for his and hers) the robes were made of pure linen and all of the amenities were handmade and so lovely, I bought a set of shampoo conditioner and lotion AND a robe after our stay. The breakfast offered was delicious and nourishing. Curated playlists playing at all times everywhere you went with music that we ended up listening to our entire vacation. The girls working during our stay were so helpful and kind. I can’t say enough great things about Shila! We miss it and will definitely be back one day.

A really special, gorgeous, thoughtful hotel tucked into a quiet street right in the middle of everything. Each room has a distinctive personality and style, which is really cool. The breakfast each morning is some of the best I’ve had a hotel. Perhaps the best feature is the staff: warm, inviting, and so helpful. They added me on WhatsApp and helped guide my trip through Athens by coordinating reservations and offering tips. I would absolutely stay here again (and would love to experience a new room next time since apparently they’re all lovely).

I absolutely loved my stay at Shila. It felt comfortable, beautiful and unique! I loved the fun and cozy design of the rooms! Everything felt like it was there for a reason, it was clean and wonderful. Each item of the breakfast was delicately chosen, delicious and so fresh. will be telling everyone I know to stay here!

Shila is such a magical place. Moreover, the staff is very nice and helpful. We stayed at the Romantic Dust and it was perfect: spectacular decoration and lovely private patio - we highly recommend you enjoy your breakfast here if possible! The location is great because you’re 15 min walking to all major attractions but you can also enjoy the peacefulness of “normal” Athens. Many good restaurants and bars are nearby!

Everything about Shila is perfect. The building is stunning, the rooms are absolutely beautiful, the location is great, the service is fantastic (thank you Ismini!). When I'm in Athens I will only ever stay at Shila.

Beautiful boutique hotel in Athens. Amazing service and wonderful breakfast. We even had breakfast on the roof! No views of the sites but come for a cool, unique, atmosphere! Would definitely come back

I visited Athens for a meeting and I stayed at Shila only one night. I wish I could stay longer. Excellent taste on the interior design and what an atmosphere! Shila is all about the senses… Warm welcoming, great decor, perfect lighting, the scented space, the Spotify playlist that was playing, the mini bar delicacies ready to be enjoyed, all carefully selected. The bed was heaven!.. The staff and service was outstanding! Their food and shopping recommendations excellent! I loved the fact that I could make my own espresso in my room with high quality Specialty Coffee coffee beans ready to be grinded in the coffee machine. So precious for a coffee lover! I hadn’t enough time to enjoy the roof garden but I definitely will on my next visit. The location is great, in the centre of the city close to any kind of delis, boutique & concept stores and art galleries and museums (my thing!). The metro station is max 8 min. walk. Can’t wait to come back… Shila can be a destination by itself.

The experience i had in Shila was outstanding. They clearly thought about every little detail in every spot. Shila is an amazing boutique hotel with a very nice rooftop (especially amazing in summertime). The rooms are beautiful (I recommend to get the one with the black hot tub) with a nice garden to chill at and have your delicious (delicious!!!!) breakfast. The staff is extremely nice and will help u with anything u need. The decor is beautiful and stylish. And the location is really great! In a quiet corner in the center of the city. Thank you Shila crew for one of the best stays! Definitely gonna come again in my next visits in Athens.
