We decided for "Athens by Night: Food and Wine Tasting" as team event with a group of 23. Two wonderful, charming ladies, Penelope and Eleni, were guiding us to discover the old town of Athens and its culinaric secrets. The city is lovely, spots for eating and the wine tasting had been perfectly selected and both, food and wine have been superb! The guides could easily handle our bigger group, we've got interesting facts about city, food and drinks - and loads of interesting side information. The walks between the spots are doable for everybody and gave our team the chance to always be together in different constellations. We all loved it - and can nothing but recommend this tour! Thank you very much for such a great idea!

Our family (kids 11 and 13) lovely morning touring Acropolis. Guide was very kind and informative and having a private tour helped keep our kids’ attention throughout. There weren’t any scavenger hunt or game aspects to the tour but the guide was engaging without them. We went early in the morning in the off season (November) and were lucky to have great weather and lighter crowds.

We had a marvelous time and Elpida was just tremendous, we couldn't have asked for a better and more knowledgeable tour director. I highly recommend Greeking.me – they are an exceptional travel company that specializes in Greece and the Greek Isles. They helped me organize and arrange transfers from Athens to three of the Greek islands for a 60th birthday celebration in the summer of 2023. They scheduled private drivers to pick us up when we arrived at each location and to take us back to the airport or ferry terminal, which relieved some of the stress and anxiety of traveling to an unfamiliar place. My sister and I took the Cretian Wine & Olive Oil tour leaving from Chania. It was a lovely experience and we had a great time! Since it was the off season it was just us on the tour and virtually just us at the wineries as well. It was also olive harvest season so we got to see family's pallets of olives being turned into their olive oil in real time! Our tour guide was great and fun as well, he offered to take photos and chatted with us at one of the wineries and in the van. Everything went smoothly, highly recommend this tour.

Warning! Come hungry! Don’t eat breakfast (well maybe a coffee). We did the Athens for Foodies tour that started at 10AM. Our guide Rita was outgoing, friendly and very knowledgeable of not only the food, but also Greek history and culture. We sampled great food along with interesting narratives. We were all stuffed by the end with no guilt. It was a fun time and we ended it knowing much more than when we started. A good tour takes you to places you wouldn’t otherwise know to go and this was perfect for us.

Our Athens Food and Wine Tour with Maria was wonderful. The food was incredible and kept coming. We had wine, ouzo, and we even got to sample olive oil in a very unique store setting. We did a walking half-day food tour with Nikki Oct 2023 and it was absolutely amazing. She was a great tour host- very knowledgeable and easy going, and the places she took us to were incredible. So great to see Athens food from a locals perspective and try some amazing things. Highlights and unexpected delights were the mushroom pies and the greek yogurt! We were a group of 9 and requested a private tour from Athens to Delphi. It has exceeded our expectations! Our guide Ismini who accompanied us on the journey there and back was a pleasant surprise as we didn’t expect anyone, but a driver. She has made our travel engaging and enjoyable and has also arranged a great lunch spot for us after the tour, even though the restaurant was technically closed in between lunch and dinner service. At the museum and archeological site, Penny was one of the best tour guides we’ve ever had! She kept our attention and told stories that made it interesting not just for the adults, but for the children (12-16 years) in our group, which is not easy to do. The trip to Delphi left lasting memories because of the staff that made it so special!

This was so much fun. Recommend you do this on your first day in Athens. We did it on our last day, but would’ve been so much more helpful on the first day. Make sure you arrive hungry. We barely were able to eat all of the delicious food served to us.

My wife and I did the "Athens by Night Food Tour & Wine Tasting" tour with Vicki as the guide. Vicky was really wonderful, and we had a great time. she was very knowledgeable, and took us to some great restaurants and shops for the wine and food tastings. There was way more than enough food so nobody went hungry. Would absolutely recommend this tour to other people!

The private Athens by Night Food Tour and Wine Tasting was an incredible experience from start to finish. Our guide was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. She took us to a lovely wine bar for a wine tasting with charcuterie. Then we enjoyed street food. Afterward, we went for an enjoyable tour of beautiful potions of the city. We needed some exercise to be able to continue eating! We then had an olive oil experience followed by a delicious dinner at Ella’s (I recommend the Greek salad there). We finished the evening with yummy gelato. I only took a few pictures because we were busy enjoying the evening.

This was an awesome experience. It was fun, informative and delicious! Our hostess was wonderful! She was a delight to spend the day with and just an overall amazing lady. Each dish was delicious and, YES, we were actively involved. Highly recommended!!!!

The Athens culinary walking tour was fun. We really enjoyed the food and the tastings. I liked the fact that it was food from small local vendors, like the pie place which was literally a 2 sq m shop. There was only room for the baker in there so we ate on the street on benches. :-) Our guide Manuolis was great / very informative and ponctual. We are all foodies and we love Greece because of the food :-). So much to taste and try! Enjoy it!

This foodie tour was excellent and Niki was the font of everything you ever wanted to know about Greek food. The tour was very well paced, the stops for food were carefully selected and we had a great time. Niki also told us about life in Athens, took us to the food and fish market and delivered everything we could have wished. I highly recommend this tour (just don’t eat much for breakfast!).

Nikki was very accommodating to our getting there late , she quickly texted us the next good tasting location . Nikki is extremely knowledgeable, as a foodie , she took us to places that were local and ethnic to the communities. We experienced a food tour that left us salivating for more. We plan to revisit these food stops again on our own time . Well she is very enthusiastic and deeply dedicated to the nuances of the taste and influences of the food from other islands close to Greek Island and internationally. We tasted many different Greek foods / meals on this food walk .

Nikos, could not have been more engaged or helpful! Traveling to a foreign country, there is always a concern about people showing up on time and at the right place. I worried for nothing. We did the Heraklion food tour and it was perfect. A lot of different things to try out from sweet pastry to salty fresh fish and real Cretan maindishes. The tour guide was super nice and friendly down to earth which made it the perfect food experience in Iraklion! One pro tip! Make sure you haven't eaten before starting the tour, there is so much to munch!

Our trip with Greeking Me completely exceeded our expectations. In booking the trip, Nikos was able to to design our trip exactly to our specifications and it truly was just what we had hoped it would be. We had licensed tour guides for our visits to the Acropolis, ancient Corinth, Nafplio and Mycenae. All three were experts in their field and left no questions unanswered. They were friendly, helpful and we enjoyed our time with each of them. We met our tour leader, Vasiliki Stergiopoulou on our 2nd night and she, and our driver, Alex, would remain with us until we were dropped off at the airport. We could not not have asked for a better team. We became fast friends and shared many great times together. As we hit inclement weather at the end of our trip, Vasiliki revised our itinerary and added activities that she knew we would enjoy. We fell in love with the mountains of the Peloponnese and visited many of the tiny villages high in the mountains. Our driver, Alex, was from one of these villages, Vytina, and he was kind enough to show us his childhood home, took us for a walk through many beautiful streets and we had lunch at one of his favorite taverns. We all took an unplanned hike up the gorge to the Monastery of Prodomos. An exhilarating (and wet) hike uphill through beautiful forests and breathtaking views. Both of these days were a great part of our trip. The food and wine tasting tours were first rate and we enjoyed each one. Our favorite, however, was the time we spent with Dimitrius and his family at their organic farm and vineyard. After a cooking lesson for cheese bread, we drove up to his vineyards to see his crops. We returned back to his home and had a wonderful Greek feast prepared by his wife and daughter. Others “greats” of the tour: Kapsia caves, simply unbelievable Country cooking class at Arcadiani Agrotourism Collective Church of Agia Theodora What we remember most is the bond we formed with Vasiliki and Alex. They made our trip one we will never forget. They were caring, kind, personable and cared about our every need. Obviously we would recommend this trip to anyone. It was our first trip to Greece, but it won’t be our last.

Nikos helped make our trip amazing! Based on our interests, he customized some experiences for us. We took a cooking class in Naxos that felt like being welcomed by old friends. We had a day on a private catamaran that was beautiful and spotlessly clean. In Santorini, we went on a wine tour that was great fun, very informative, and in beautiful settings! Transportation services were timely and first-class! Overall, Nikos provided great, tailor-made services and activities. His attention to detail and communication is thorough. The representative contacted me well in advance and kept in constant contact throughout the time before our activity. There was never a question of what to do or where to go...they took care of everything! We chose the Cooking Class at the Cretan Village of Arilithos. We loved the property so much that we checked out of our hotel in Heraklion to spend our last night at Arilithos...an absolutely beautiful and peaceful evening to end our trip!

Must-try tour when visiting Athens!! we had the pleasure of joining this tour in October 2021 with our fabulous guide Tiama who was extremely knowledgeable, kind and entertaining. My Fiance and I have been to Athens previously but on this tour we got to know so many new and DELICIOUS places we never knew of in Athens. Tiama continuously interacted with the group and accommodated the tour to everyone's needs and wants, and by the end of it we had the perfect balance of sweet and savory stops and we were all very happy and FULL. The foodie tour exploring the street food of Athens was the highlight of my short trip to Greece. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of customer service pre-tour: I originally booked a different experience, but it was unfortunately not available due to low season. I got offered this trip instead, and everything was seamless from then on! My guide, Irene, was a bubbly, knowledgeable foodie with lots of interesting stories to tell about the daily life and food habits of Greeks. Doing the tour in a small group of 3 was incredible, and every food stop was well-prepared including table reservations etc. We tried so many things I would normally never try (not a big fan of olives but I still went ahead and tried different kinds as recommended by Irene, was not disappointed). Our day trip to Santorini went extremely well ... We had two tour guides - Elena and Yanis aka John. They both are fantastic, especially Yanis! Also kudos to our fashionable driver - Kontas ... he is so so friendly, pleasant and such a gentleman!!! It was a very hot day ... Yanis took us on a tour of the archaeological site ... the black sand beach ... recommended a wonderful restaurant for lunch ... we had a whole grilled red snapper .. the tour of the Fira and Oia ... we got the picture with the famous blue dome white wall churches ... and got a pretty good feel of Santorini ...and local hospitality. We wish we were in Santorini for a couple days so we can watch the sunset, bathing under the cabana at the black sand beach, sailing on a yacht and relaxing like a local .. Highly recommended this day tour if time is a constraint ...
