This was a fantastic experience recommended to us on the free walking tour. Both are highly recommendable! Getting to know the Greek way of life through food, what's not to like?! Trevor, as a former chef, was highly knowledge and provided insight through his many years living here. He took us off the beaten track and I enjoyed all the food even if some of it had some interesting flavours! As a parting gift he gave us some great tips for the rest of our time in Athens.

I had an amazing time on the food tour of Athens. We got to try lots of food - I'm glad I didn't have breakfast beforehand, and I didn't need lunch either! Trevor is an excellent guide, from giving insights on the history and origins of Greek dishes to making sure we got coffee and enough water. It was quite a lot of standing or walking which was tough after several days of walking around the city, but worth it!

Loved our food tour with Trevor. He was so passionate about Greek food and culture, it was a joy! Great way to see interesting parts of Athens which are off the beaten trail and give an insight into the Greek lifestyle. Also get to try and great amount of food! Would definitely recommend on your next trip to Athens!

We did this tour with Trevor on a day where many locals were away for the weekend on holiday, but despite this challenge Trevor managed to make sure we tried all the local delicacies, was incredibly informative and able to answer all of our questions about Greek living, food and using local ingredients. The Athens Food Adventure with Trevor was brilliant. He is knowledgeable about Athens, food, cooking and culture. All the tastings were terrific. He went way over time (which we had) and kept us entertained the whole time. Best 4 hours we spent in Athens!

The rain did not stop us! Me and my partner did the Food Adventures Tour in Athens with Trevor and it was just beyond our expectations. Trevor is a very knowledgeable chef that while sharing with us all the hidden gems in Athena to try their food, adds a very personal input and honestly, more than incredible experience added into the tour, which is unreal by itself. We tried many Greek things and he made sure all our questions were answered. If you are really into knowing how the Greeks cook or eat, and are curious about their traditions and where they come from, this is your your! The food adventure tour was amazing! You get to know the history behind the food, how they make it and where the locals get their food from. The tour guide Trevor/Anthony was amazing! He really knows his stuff and is a trained chef. We tried not the main stream greek food you get everywhere, like Gyros, but the more local and not so known food, which was amazing! Starting with their typical breakfast food the tour began great, we could try so many different things, like sweets and pistachios, but also greek olives and greek coffee. It was really interesting to know why Greeks eat their food and how they shop. Can only recommend this tour! You should do it at the beginning of the holiday because then you get to head back to this places!

Highlight of our Athens trip! We went on an Athens Food Tour with Barbara and had such a memorable time. We were able to experience the rich food culture in Athens in such an authentic way and eat at places only the locals know about. The tour felt personalised as Barbara got to know each one of us. Her passion for food and for people was so clear! She was able to navigate the tricky dietary requirements of our group: a vegan and someone with severe egg and nut allergies. Both left completely satisfied and we were impressed with how carefully she treated the allergies. My brother has a disability and he was treated so kindly as she interacted with him in a way that made him feel special and included. If you are thinking of doing the food tour, we couldn’t recommend it more - well worth every cent!

Trevor was an amazing guide. This was one of our favorite tours. He was so knowledgeable, and we definitely felt like we were able to experienced all of the traditional Greek food and markets.

I did the Athens Food Walking Tour today with Trevor and thoroughly recommended it. Whilst we passed many other tours en route, they all had larger group sizes. In fact, until this morning, I was the only person booked on the tour, but Greece Tour Hubbard were still happy to run it. Another solo traveller booked last minute and we were off. Whilst Trevor originates from the UK he has lived in Greece for 27 years and trained as a chef. This is not a tour about stuffing your face with all the food (although you will be given more than you can eat) but about the stories, influences and culture. That made it all the better for me. And you leave with a digital cookbook. Other tours may promote more heavily, but this one came from word of moth for me and I don't hesitate in recommending it.

Excellent service and great value for money. Bill and Costas could not have been more helpful in arranging a couple of wonderful guided tours for us to enhance our stay in Athens. Katerina’s guided tour of the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum was an excellent introduction to the City on our first day - followed by a delicious lunch in a restaurant recommended by Costas where they really made a fuss of us. They also arranged for us (two families travelling together) a private day trip to Delphi which was a real highlight of the holiday. Comfortable mini-bus, professional driver and very knowledgeable guide, Marianna. It’s a long day but well-worth doing. Delphi is a really special place and the views are simply fantastic. Late seafood lunch by the sea before heading back to Athens was also fun. We will definitely use Greece Tour Hub again when we return to Greece.

The food tour with Trevor was one of my favorite things that I did while in Athens! He was very knowledgeable about Greek cuisine and its history, and made the tour so interesting and fun. He was also very considerate about me being vegetarian. On top of getting to sample a large variety of tasty food on the tour, Trevor also shared with us many restaurant recommendations and recipes to try at home.

I went on the Athens food adventure with Trevor and it was FANTASTIC!! There was lots of quality local food to enjoy & we visited awesome places we wouldn't have seen or known about without a guide! Trevor was a great guide, very pleasant, knowledgeable & knows the ins & outs of Athens. It was also awesome that he managed to give a 3+ hours long tour talking only about food! That is not easy to do, but it comes naturally to him! Highly recommend!!

Just arrived from the daytrip to Delphi in english. The guide was good and answered all the questions, we had free time to visit the site after the description and afterwards a guided visit to the museum where you can see very nice things like shields, statues, part of an quadriga, ... some in very good condition. Lunch was good, with greek food and other stuff, was enough to feel well, a few minutes to relax and back to the bus, stop at a close town for toilet or whatever and back to Athens. Word of warning, there can be a lot of traffic when going to and returning from Delphi, so consider visiting the loo before departure and return.

Great tour providers! I did the free walking tour and the Athens food tour. Both were excellent and I learned so much about Greece and the culture. Come hungry to the food tour, you get a lot of food.

Trevor's Athens Food Adventure is beyond imagination. He let me taste various kinds of delicious traditional food the locals eat, brought me to some great local restaurants that I'd never discover myself because they are not even on Google Map!! He also showed me the wines in small local shops that I thought were some kinds of juices as they were bottled in plastic bottles. The wines are very cheap but I like them a lot!! Trever was a chef, so he can tell you every detail of each delicacy. Before I came to this tour, I would consider Greek food was not as outstanding as what is advertised on the Internet because I just went to the restaurants on the main streets like most tourists are. Trevor has completely reversed my perception towards Greek food. He even brought me to the local markets where all locals go every day. He showed me which food is produced in Greece that is very affordable but of great quality, so now I can cook in my AirBNB apartment sometimes without the need of eating outside every day. If you care about what you eat in Athens, joining this tour is a must!!

We've had an amazing experience doing the Athens Food Adventure. Trevor is a very friendly guide, who knows a lot about the food and also how to make it at home! Price/quality ratio cannot be found anywhere else so we'd recommend it to anyone wanting to go on a food tour. We are still full now, but are already excited to try the recipes at home :)

We made the Athens Food Adventure and the experience was amazing!! Not only we were able to taste traditional Greek food but also as we walked through the city we learned about its history and got to know a different part of the city that tourist almost never visit. The guide deserves the 5 stars, he knows a lot about the topic and basically all the food is good. He is very entertaining and kind. It’s a good option if you want to try traditional Greek food that are not that common.

I did the food tour on the 21 May, it was a big group but Trevor made sure everyone felt part of this tour, his knowledge was outstanding , answering any question i asked him. On this tour you get to experience real traditional Greek food, a pure senses sensation! Trevor made this tour special by using his humour and lovely personality and I wold highly recommend him. I hoping to visit Athens again and I will be booking this tour with my friends and family

This is an excellent introduction to Greek food and a great way to see Athens. Trevor was extremely knowledgeable, full of insights and tips. The stops and tastings were excellent, and we learned a lot and saw many shops we would not never have found on our own. A pleasant surprise was sitting down at the end of the tour and enjoying some conversation over cheese, meat and wine.

We had an adventure with Trevor 4 days ago and it was truly wonderful. Trevor is such an amazing guide and every place he introduced to us were really scrumptious! We had such a good time together that time just went by so fast. Although the adventure had to come to an end eventually, but the memory of this special day will stick with us forever. Trevor was an amazing tour guide and was such an interesting tour. The tour ended in a deli and he sat and chatted to us for ages. Such a good way to get an insight into the local side of Athens and even get some traditional recipes to try!

The Walking Food Tour with Trevor was excellent, a perfect way to experience the local culture. Trevor was very knowledgeable and in our smaller group really engaged with us and our questions, also the food was excellent. The Walking Tour with Stefan was a great way to acquaint ourselves with the city visiting a good number of the sites, you can see the majority of the archeological sites from the outside. Highly recommend both tours.

Trevor was one of the most knowledgable food guides we have had the pleasure to learn from. The tour itself was so informative and we felt like we learned a lot about Athens and Greek food in general. We loved that he shared descriptions and instructions on how to cook various Greek dishes. Truly, this tour was one of the highlights of our trip and we cannot recommend it enough.

We took the Food Adventure which takes around 3h. Our Tour Guide Trevor was definitely the best we could ever ask for. We were lucky, only me and my friend took the tour which enabled us to have a very communicative and private tour, tailored to our interests. Trevor took us trough the inner city, showed us traditional food from Greece which we never heard of while explaining their traditions. We got to taste a lot and could even take some of the food with us home. He made suggestions how to cook certain meals like the locals. He told us how different (and charming) their daily life is compared to ours at home. He was also very understanding when we did not like something that much and never forced us into anything. We really enjoyed the 3h with Trevor and would love to do it again!
