We stayed in the hotel for a couple of nights in mid August. The rooms were exactly like the photographs, and we were lucky enough to be upgraded. Breakfast was included and you could chose a main dish among the menu, a coffee and a juice or fruit salad. The check in and out were quick and easy, and the service amazing. However the best thing of the hotel was the location, close to all the landmarks and nice restaurants. I would highly recommend this hotel.

this a cosy and beautiful place, which is located in the city center. the staff is very friendly and welcoming. definitely a recommendation. price-performance is okay i guess. everything is in walking distance and metro stations are also in close reach. our rooms was clean, modern and spacious. we also liked our small little balcony. the bath is kinda huge and felt good to use. breakfast is offered in the restaurant bar downstairs. it was a good variety of different choices and tasted rather good. but, we did not like that there so many heavy smokers. kinda funny is that we had different sizes of our portions every day, although we went for the same dishes most of the time ☺️ also, there is no rooftop area - obviously that’s something you know before booking, but nevertheless it would have been nice to have one. what i missed somehow was a little chill out area, if you do not want spend your time in your room the entire time. personally, i would loved to have free water/coffee/tea on a daily basis, which would have made the stay even better.

Be aware! This place is beautiful and well located. It looks fantastic on the internet. It would be a great place to stay if you don’t plan to go to bed before MIDNIGHT! Especially if they give you the room right over the restaurant downstairs that turns out to be a bar. We booked our room directly with the hotel several months ago and specifically asked for a quiet room on a high-upper floor. When we got here they said that they were sorry, they were fully booked and there were no other rooms. When we asked about the music downstairs, they said it goes until 11pm, it was a Thursday night. I called at 11pm to ask about the music, “Well sometimes it goes to 11:30pm.” It went to Midnight last night. Now it is almost Midnight on Friday, so I am up listening to their music and writing this review rather than sleeping. I hope they turn it off soon…..Thank god it is our last night here! If you want to sleep..I recommend staying anywhere else! Until the property owners decide to run a hotel rather than a bar.

I think this might be the best boutique hotel in Athens! We got the Ivy suite, with two balconies, one with an amazing view of the Parthenon and Acropolis. The king bed was very comfortable, the AC worked great, heated floors in the toilet room and the shower was huge and wonderful with an overhead waterfall style. And, the hotel restaurant, Burratino, was equally awesome--the included breakfasts were big and delicious, so good we had a lunch and dinner there as well and excellent people watching on the busy upscale shopping streets! And the staff, from Eva at the front desk to the owner Michalis and especially general manager Kris, were absolutely kind, helpful and generous in their service! Highly recommend both the hotel and the signature Ivy Suite.

We stayed at Athens Ivy Suites at the beginning and end of our vacation in Greece and highly recommend it! The hotel is centrally located near lots of bars, restaurants, shops, and cafes. It is also on a pedestrian street, so we were dropped off by our taxis about a 1 minute walk away, which was great! The staff was extremely responsive to any of our questions, and our room was clean with a lock box and ample space!

Wonderful small hotel, great location, amazing staff, CLEAN modern rooms. There are only two rooms per floor at this city center hotel, one side faces towards a small quiet alley and the other side faces the Acropolis. I had the 5th floor alley side and it was super quiet, also had black out curtains so if you wanted to sleep in it was no problem. There is also a small balcony you can sit out on to enjoy a drink or a cigarette if you have that nasty habit. The room is completely up to date and modern with a great bed, sheets and super soft supply of towels. Even the bathroom area has a heated floor for comfort. I really enjoyed it here and stayed for 7 nights. The location is amazing and convenient to all the important sites as well as tons of restaurants and shops and the Metro/Bus system. You really couldn't ask for a better location in Athens. Also the room included breakfast which is served in the Italian restaurant downstairs, you are given their menu and can pick out 3 different items..... it's a lot of food, I usually got an entree as well as fresh squeed OJ and a big cappuccino. Some days I just skipped the food part and had two drinks. Breakfast is offered from 8 to 11. Probably one of the best hotels I've stayed at in years and the fact that the entire staff including the cleaning lady are super friendly is a big plus!!

We had a wonderful stay at Athens Ivy! Our room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful - they recommended excellent restaurants, helped us book tours and taxis, and even had breakfast boxes ready for our early morning tour. We highly recommend!

Nice and cozy hotel in a perfect location in the heart of Athens city center. Many of Athens attractions are in a walking distance. public transportation also available, i.e. 5 minutes walk to Syntagma metro station. We stayed for 2 nights in a standard room. The room was big and newly renovated, also very clean The breakfast is served on a cafe-bar infront of the hotel, that was very average.. The hotel staff was very kind and helpful.

This is a lovely boutique hotel right in the vibrant center of Athens. Tons of restaurants, cafés or bars as well as the Acropolis are close by. The rooms look new and elegant and they’re very clean. You even get robes and slippers. Breakfast is served in the restaurant enclosed, called ‘Burrattino’, where you can choose from quiet a varied menu (pancakes, sandwiches, fruit bowls…). The waitress is super sweet and makes you feel welcome although you aren’t a ‘regular’ guest. In general, the staff was very polite and helpful. The only disadvantage, that comes with the location but needs to be mentioned, is the noise. If you have a light sleep, you might need some earplugs or close the window at night. Nevertheless, we loved staying here.

We booked 3 rooms all perfect and stylish. Lucky me, I was upgraded to the room with the acropolis view 😁😁😁 which was a fun bonus. The breakfast was versatile and delicious. The location is amazing, you can't get any center than this.

I stayed two nights in Athens Ivy Suites, as a solo-traveler, and I absolutely loved this place. the location is perfect, so easy access to everything, but still quiet and calm at night. The room was fantastic! it might have been the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in in a hotel! It has all you required, the shower was amazing, and there were just so many other additional touches, with the Nespresso machine, the high quality complimentary toiletries, the big balcony etc. In addition, the breakfast was served in the café downstairs, la Burratino, and it was so delicious. Can only give this place my highest recommendations, and I will definitely stay here on my next visit to Athens. So much value for money.

My wife and had previously stayed at Ivy and were thoroughly impressed, on this occasion we requested one night at the last minute due to a mistake in our itinerary plans. The staff at the Ivy went out of their way to help us secure a room at the last minute, they arranged everything via email - Kostis and Dagmar were fantastic! The hotel itself is superbly located and fitted out, small boutique vibes - walking distance to the best shopping, dining, coffee, and of course all the landmarks.

Room was clean and comfortable, but there were a couple broken items. We also got a speech about how we had to be careful with what we set the thermostat to because it would effect others on the floor, which is a bit odd. I would stay here again though as the room was nice, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and it was in a good location close to stores and sites. The noise at night was a bit loud, but I was tired enough that I slept through it. Overall it was worth it and would recommend it to others.

Even before our arrival the concierge assisted us with pickup from the airport. Upon our arrival they were accommodating and friendly. The room was clean and cozy with the most spectacular view.

Great location and is within walking distance of restaurants, shopping areas, and the Acropolis. The only cons I have is the shower which was a weird design where the shower head is over the bench, other than that it's a pleasant stay.

This is a Lesson Learned for some hotel because what they did to us is unforgetable : We arrived to the hotel but the guy at the reception told us about a problem in the floor where our room is, which is the Air-condition isn’t working in this floor, so they offered us two options: 1- get an upgrade on the same floor where the air-conditioner isn’t working or 2- moved us to next good 4 ⭐️ hotel. Notes: we don’t have to talk to our travel agents to fix the problem, cuz they already have fix it. Thank you so much for everything Athens Ivy Suits. Thnx for the politeness of dealing with a customer. Thnx for the support u have offered. Thnx for the carting u gave us. Thnx because we did not go through problems. Definitely I would recommend this hotel for anyone who is coming to Athens Location: 👍👍👍👍 closed to restaurant. Central of Athens, and Museum Customer service: amazing 👍👍👍 It’s 4 ⭐️, it I would rate them 5 ⭐️

This hotel is worth mentioning.  Great vibe. My room was  pleasant.  The beds and and bedding are amazing, which for me translating into beautiful dreams. Amazing service from the front desk to the kitchen to the bar.  Eva, Dagmar, Diana, Alekos, Frosi and all the rest.   They  help me with getting my US phone working, booking flights to other parts of Greece and restaurant recommendations.  No taxi or public transportation needed to enjoy your stay. The hotel is located right smack in the middle of all the juicy stuff Plaka has to offer. My hat goes off to this family-run business. Can't wait to come back with all my friends.

Great hotel in an ideal location. Surrounded by great restaurants and only a short walk away from the top historical sights. Quick walk from the Syntagma metro station making getting to/from the airport simple. Breakfast was great at the restaurant on the ground floor. Large balcony of the Loft Suite was perfect for enjoying a glass of wine and the incredible view.

Fairly new rooms in the heart of Athens with the option of acropolis view. Very professional and polite service. Food and drinks available as well. It was a great base from where we enjoyed exploring the center.

Our stay at Athens Ivy Suites was just phenomenal. The service was impeccable, the rooms were spotless and comfortable, and it is in the absolute perfect location—incredibly close to popular destinations but in a quiet enough spot that you don't hear any street noise in your room! We had the Ivy Suite on the 6th floor and enjoyed a large balcony terrace with a view of the Acropolis. If you like staying in well-appointed boutique hotels with great concierge service, this is absolutely the place for you. (And the breakfast is delicious!)

We stayed here in April for a week and we are so glad we ended up picking Athens Ivy over other hotels. Great service, great room, amazing location. Breakfast is served by the cafe on first floor. A la carte menu for breakfast is totally worth the cost. On the days we had to leave early for day trips, the hotel staff prepared takeout breakfast box for us, which was more than what we expected. Overall, we would highly recommend this place and we certainly will stay with them again when we return to Athens.

It was a last minute change to our itinerary and had previously stayed across the street, so we booked the Athens Ivy Suites and we were so very happy we did. It was a great stay from beginning to end. Their onsite restaurant was absolutely a joy with delicious breakfast (included in the cost of the room). The room we had was wonderful with a giant shower and a nice balcony to people watch from. Staff was top notch as well, and super helpful with suggestions on places to eat, etc. We would advise anyone coming to Athens to stay there and we will for sure stay again on our next visit.
