IMOGA
was
structured
as
the
main
production
and
presentation
building
in
the
developing
Ünalan
area,
in
a
neighborhood
located
at
the
foothills
of
Çamlıca
Hill,
between
Acıbadem
and
Göztepe,
on
the
Anatolian
side.
The
building,
which
has
a
closed
area
of
2000
m2,
has
six
floors
designed
to
serve
various
events
and
purposes.
In
the
section
designed
as
a
total
exhibition
area
of
1100
m2,
including
the
entrance
and
the
two
floors
below,
works
from
the
permanent
collection
are
presented
to
art
lovers
on
a
rotating
basis.
On
the
first
floor
of
the
building,
Artess,
Süleyman
Saim
Tekcan
Original
Printing
Workshop
continues
its
production
and
work.
On
the
second
floor,
Sculptor
Ali
Teoman
Germaner's
sculpture
workshop
welcomes
art
lovers.
On
the
top
floor
of
the
building,
there
is
a
multi-purpose
hall
that
will
host
the
museum's
comprehensive
artistic
events.
In
order
to
approach
the
concept
of
a
museum
in
its
true
sense
in
the
world,
the
space
creates
opportunities
for
productions
in
various
fields
of
art
as
well
as
visual
arts.
IMOGA
also
has
a
world-class
work
archive
system.
In
addition,
the
frame
workshop
and
photography
studio,
which
are
side
functions
required
by
the
museum,
are
among
the
other
requirements
in
the
building.
The
museum's
spaces
are
completed
with
the
attic
where
the
management
offices,
meeting
section
and
graphic
design
office
are
located.
A
studio
flat
on
each
floor
allows
foreign
artists
who
come
to
work
in
the
workshop
to
be
hosted
in
the
building.
Thus,
the
acceptance
of
the
works
produced
in
the
field
of
international
art
and
the
opening
of
the
workshop's
facilities
to
international
artists
make
IMOGA
the
status
of
a
world-wide
institution.
While
Artess
Original
Printing
Workshop
offers
Turkish
and
foreign
artists
all
kinds
of
production
opportunities
to
produce
works
in
various
original
printing
techniques
such
as
engraving,
silkscreen,
linoleum
and
lithography,
artists
also
have
the
opportunity
to
benefit
from
the
international
knowledge
and
art
experience
of
the
workshop
during
their
own
production.
Artess
understanding;
Original
printing
techniques
are
perceived
by
artists
not
as
a
'reproduction'
technique,
but
as
a
'creation'
technique
that
offers
new
creation
opportunities
to
artists
with
the
benefits
of
the
technical
possibilities
of
original
printing
in
producing
an
original
work.
With
the
technical
consultancy
offered
within
the
framework
of
this
understanding,
the
originality,
production
quality
and
original
printing
competence
of
the
works
produced
in
the
workshop
are
guaranteed
by
Artess.
For
Artess
Original
Printing
Workshop
and
IMOGA,
reliability
and
artistic
ethics
are
extremely
important
both
for
the
artists'
production
and
for
the
original
print
buyer.
Thanks
to
IMOGA
principles,
every
aspect
of
art
production
ethics
is
kept
under
strict
control
at
the
production
and
sales
stages,
and
the
rights
of
the
artist
and
the
art
buyer
are
mutually
protected.
