A must visit pilgrimage destination in Adoni. One can reach the temple via Yellamma Konda road and take steps the reach the shrine on top of the hill. The view from the Hilltop is mesmerising and perfectly picturesque. The temple has great historical importance and is very powerful. Devotees from neighbouring villages also visit the temple during Shravana Maasa. The main deity doesn't have a roof overhead. The Anjaneya Swamy murti is 6feet tall and is covered by sindhur. There are small temples of Ayyappa, Rama, Lakshmana, sit a and Shiva on the hilltop.

The place is filled with natural landscapes and beauty. One needs to climb for nearly 2 to 2 and a half kilometres to reach the place. Regarding the history of the temple, there is a lot on Google and the locals say it all.. but what one must know is that the place is filled with natural water ponds on the hill. The temple doesn't have the sanctum, as per the locals, the sanctum must be constructed in a single night, which is not possible till now. The temple is believed to be very ancient and lord Hanuman is worshipping by many. Also your wishes come true. Not suggested to go here after six in evening as the place becomes dark and looks like an abandoned one.

Ranamandala Konda is a religiously important attraction in the region. It is believed, this site is where, during their exile, Lord Rama shot an arrow and formed a lake to provide water to Goddess Sita. This is also where Lord Hanuman is believed to have fought demons while Rama was sleeping to ensure he doesn't get disturbed. The attraction also has the famous Ranamandala Anjaneya Swamy temple which is a shrine with no roof.

It's a great worship place, local people visit for worship of hanuman. It will be mostly populated on Saturdays and remain days it will be dry. Have about 1000steps to reach this place from parking area. It's one of the historical place of Adoni town. Have a ancient fort rules by nawabs during 80's.

Ranamandala Anjaneya Swamy Temple located in Adoni, Kurnool. It is 600 steps to reach the hilltop. Temple is always open as there are no gates. Santhana Anjaneya Swamy Temple is located in the midway of the hilltop. Ranamandala Anjaneya Swamy Temple Legends It is believed that this is the place where Anjaneya Swamy killed demons in a war who are trying to disturb Lord Sree Rama’s sleep. Hence this place got the name Rana Mandala, where Rana means war and mandala means region. It is believed that Anjaneya Swamy self-manifested here. Sri Vyasaraja did visit this place during his journey but this Idol was not installed by him. Anjaneya Swamy once appeared in the dreams of a devotee and instructed him that temple should be built in a day only. Devotee tried to build the temple with the help of others but could not finish within time and left the materials as it is. That is the reason why this temple doesn’t have any roof and is in the open air. Ranamandala Anjaneya Swamy Temple Timings Opening Hours: 6:00 am to 7:00 pm. Dress Code: Any decent outfit. Darshan waiting time: 20 -30 mins. How to reach Temple? Temple is 48 km from Mantralayam. From Nandyal, the temple is 163 km away. 98 km from Kurnool.

Ranamandala Anjaneyya Swamy It is trusted this is where Anjaneya Swamy Killed devils in a war who are attempting to bother Lord Sree Rama's rest. Henceforth this place got the name Rana Mandala, where Rana implies war and mandala implies locale. There are no sanctuary timings all things considered as there are no doors or structures to counteract anybody to go and visit the huge and intense Hanuman.
