Good place for one day picnic. Can enjoy the river side and also the boating. Many were enjoying in water but for me the water was really dirty. Can have snacks and tea over here.

Well this might not be an actual beach but still the sunset was very beautiful in here. We were there on Sunday so it was quite crowded and getting a parking spot was difficult and we didn't had idea that we could have parked right at the beach. Whoever is visiting I would recommend them to park at the beach itself and enjoy a lovely sunset with a hot cup of tea.

Very very beautiful and completely peaceful river beach at the banks of river Mahisagar, near from Vadodara city... Not explored by many.. So not crowded or not polluted yet... But the beauty of the gigantic Mahi river is seen and experienced there.. The reason why Mahi river is called "Mahisagar", is well understood here as you can see the large banks of river, just like an ocean, meaning "sagar"..!! The river water is so neat & clean , you can see through.. The water is considered very holy and next to that of Ganga river.. You can also enjoy boating and kayaking here.. There are paddle boats and normal boats for fun boating for visitors... There is also a Mahi maata temple nearby on the way... If you like nature & peaceful places, then this place is for you..!!

Very nice place for picnic with family. Can feel real beauty of nature's. Distance is almost 20-25 km from vadodara. Please don't throw garbage while going picnic...save earth and help to maintain beauty of nature for our next generation

Avoid visiting this place on Sunday, there will be too much traffic, and thousands of people, so water will also not good, visit this place on any other weekdays to get best experience. If possible visit it in early morning.

Loved this place for kayaking (boating). There is not proper river rafting but if you go there you will enjoy the ride. This palce is also crowded during weekends and less crowd during normal days.

Nice view of Mahisagar river. Near Kotna bridge. With parking facility. Best place to relax and meditate. But to reach near the river, we need to go downhill which is difficult for senior citizens. Same while going upwards. Excellent view.

I saw some trucks and heavy vehicles picking up Sand and Mud. Don't know whether it was legal or illegal. The place is losing its beauty because of the sand work. The View was lovely. Great Place for photos.

We planned to go for kayaking at kotna beach. There is no beach but the river side is known as beach. This place is off beat location near Vadodara. So the location is peaceful and full of marvelous views. We got to experience some wonderful and scenic views of the Sunset and river. We loved the peaceful paddling down the River! It was so cool to see crystal clear water and many water plants in river. We enjoyed kayaking for one and half hours. If you're master in bargaining then you'll get kayak on rent in reasonable price. I would recommend to go for Kayaking offers an amazing offbeat day time kayak experience while you’re in Vadodara. One will love this activity who loves to enjoys peaceful natural environment.
