👍 Well, It is not a beach but the place is good especially when the high tide is there. Most of the rider takes a short mini bike ride here to have fun and one day trip. It has developed a bit so you can go further inside and there is a parking place so you can see the seashore. Nice place People often mention visit,

Visit the site on Sunday Uttarayana in Khambhat celebrated every year on the first Sunday after 14th January to see the colourful Kite flying festival. The port road is a place where one can see the high tide and low tide of the Arabian sea.

The long flat gulf covered with salt soil makes white land just like kutch's white desert, no noise of city only silence and slowly blowing air will definitely give peace, best time to visit is Sunset and Sunrise, Best place to visit if you're visiting khambhat, highly recommend

There is no beach as such in this place. We went in search of a beach, but could see only endless swamp land. It seems the water comes during high tide days (as per locals) . All we could see were already harvesting plots in the place.Altogether it is not worthy to visit this place if you are searching for beaches near Ahmedabad. There are beautiful Palmyra palm trees and a lake on the way where you can stop and have picnic

Today’s Khambat is a neglected region as it has fallen to the nature’s apathy. Its harbour once thrived with ships from Malacca, Persian Gulf, Mombasa and even Europe is now a dry bed of silts. Besides nature, the competition from the European companies, the shift of maritime trade to Surat and Mumbai and the coming of the railway to Gujarat in 1863 all led to the city’s eclipse. It’s once prospered Bhora Muslims and mahajans moved elsewhere allowing most of its heritage buildings to decay further. We saw some are being replaced with contemporary structures.

(Translated by Google) Namak did not say anything or did not know how to cook, but there is a lot of good thinking about 7 days from 3 to 4 full days. (Original) Namak ki jhil or ha shambhal kar utarna nahi to kabi kabi bhar b jata hai sukha mat samajna is ko 7 din me 3 ya 4 din full pani hota hai

Come according to Tide Schedules. Water is very far away. It's also dangerous as channels can fill with water as Tide increases and you can get stuck between water. Overall, it's like Ran of Kutch, as there's white salt land.

Overall it is a dirty in spite of its old legacy. Somehow the locals and we citizens have not paid attention to beautification of this area. Info available says rich people also live here but they do not seems to care for development.

👍👍 Very peaceful and meditative place. A must visit place if visiting KHAMBHAT town. An ancient jain temple of LORD AADINATH. Special attractions are its walls on which many thoughts lead to the path of renunciation & salvation (i.e moksha)
