Awesome place... Memorial with great information about sardar saheb... Awesome garden On the way to Lothal, we went here in the early morning. The memorial was not yet opened. With lots of persuasion, the watchman allowed us to go inside the park. It was a lovely walk. I would like to come here again and visit it during normal working hours.

It has entry fee so garden maintenance is well. You can spend at least one hour or more in silent nature. Children enjoy in park. You can walk in garden without your chappal or shoes, so it's good experience. Security support you well with good answering.

The memorial consists of a museum that houses a collection of photographs, documents, and personal belongings of Sardar Patel, as well as exhibits that depict his life and achievements. The museum also has an audio-visual section that features a documentary film on Patel's life and work. In addition to the museum, the Sardar Patel Memorial also has a landscaped garden and a statue of Sardar Patel. The statue is made of bronze and stands at a height of 10 feet. Visitors to the memorial can learn about the life and legacy of Sardar Patel and gain a deeper understanding of his contributions to the Indian independence movement and the formation of the Indian republic. The Sardar Patel Memorial is a significant landmark in Ahmedabad and attracts visitors from all over India and the world.

With the ideals of Sardar Patel and Vithalbhai Patel as its nucleus, the magnificent Memorial is spread across seven acres adjoining the H.M. Patel Center for Medical Care and Education, Pramukh Swami Medical College and Shri Krishna Hospital. After lush green Landscapes and an octagonal yard comes the monument, where busts of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Veer Vithalbhai Patel adorn the entrance. The monument has a central hall with amphitheatre like seating arrangement. The main hall is covered by verandahs all around. The corridors has a photo gallery that has paintings, banners and photography depicting events from the lives of Sardar Patel and Veer Vithalbhai Patel. The Memoral museum exhibits the collection of priceless belongings of Sardar inculding the Bharat Ratna, posthumously awarded to him by the Govt. Of India. I would like to add that also please visit Sardar Patel's home which is just opposite to this memorial after crossing road and moving about half a kilometer. Visited just once but it was enough to please my eyes. You will be charged for visiting the garden and more for the memo.

This is an architectural tribute to Sardar Vallabhai Patel in his home town Anand, Gujarat. The memorial is built in such a way that it is strong and symbolizes the iron will of Sardar and surrounded by garden to show his mother like nature. It captures the whole life of Vallabh bhai Patel and his brother Vithalbhai Patel using pictures, quotes, books, etc. It also has the Bharat Ratna awarded to him posthumously and in the office you can also see the original certificate. They also have the shawl worn by Sardar when the Constitution was signed. You can really feel his presence and the amount of hard work that went into getting Independence for India. There is also an auditorium inside. The staff is also super friendly :)

Incepted in 1890, the museum has antique masterpieces made from wood, sandalwood, metal and terracotta. These artifacts date back to the Mughal era. The museum displays manuscripts, old oil paintings and other items that talk about rich ancient history. You will also find an open air theater here at Sardar Patel Museum that can accommodate up to 400 people in one go. Vallabhbhai Patel, one of India's great leaders of the Indian independence movement, was raised in Karamsad. It was also home to his elder brother Vitthalbhai Patel, who was also an important political leader. The Patel brothers lived with their two older brothers and one younger brother and sister, and parents Zaverbhai and Lada Patel lived in a mud-brick house next to their family farm. The house has been preserved as a memorial to Patel till date. (Original) Home to around 10,000 specimen of arts and crafts, Sardar Patel Museum makes for an amazing touristy place! (Translated by Google) Vallabhbhai Zaverbhai Patel was born in his maternal grandmother's home in Gujarat. His actual birth date was never recorded, but he had written his matriculation examination paper on October 31 as his birth date. He was the fourth son of Hindu religion's father Zaverbhai and mother Laddaba. He lived in Karamsad village of Kheda district, where his father Zaverbhai was a farmer. Somabhai, Narsinhbhai Tathavithalbhai (who himself also went on to become a statesman) was his elder brothers. He had a younger brother - Kashibhai and a younger sister - Dehiba. In his youth, Vallabhbhai helped his father in the field and fasted for two months in which he did not take food and water. At the age of 18, she lived in a nearby village, with Zaverba being 12 or 13 years old. Subject to custom, as long as the husband can not afford to run the house, his wife lives at her father's house. Vallabhbhai had to go to Nodiyad, Petladatha Borsad to complete the schooling, where he remained self-reliant with the other boys. He cultivated his famous temperamental nature - according to one fame, he paused a scarcity of his own, without even shrinking it. When Vallabhbhai passed his matriculation examination at 22 years of age, his elders did not recognize him as an ambitious person, but believed that he would do any ordinary job or business. But Vallabhbhai had his own separate plan - he was educated, spent money by working, becoming a barrister in England. Vallabhbhai remained separate from his family for years and sought books from other lawyers, studying on his own, passed the examination in two years. He brought Zaverba from his beloved and started the life of God in Godhra and registered his name in the bar (lawyer's board) there. It took many years for him to save money, he earned a sharp and skilled lawyer for himself. His wife Zaverba gave birth to two children - Maniben in 1904 and Dhiyabhai in 1906. In Gujarat, when the terrorism of the Bubonic Plague was stuck, Vallabhbhai also cherished one of his friends, but when he himself got the disease, he immediately sent his family to a safe place, leaving his own house and going to the empty house in Nadiad (according to another version, In a temple that had been done), where they gradually got cured. It is irony that while crores of rupees are spend at and around the sardar statue this historic place in the town where Sardar was born and brought up is neglected and abundant. The place should be exclusively for Sardar Patel's memory and research on Sardar. This place could be epicenter for activities around Sardar. But it is shocking that part of this memorial is converted into marriage party function hall. I had no courage to ask why this step is taken But i am sure the financial situation must have forced administration to rent part of it for function. This place should be only for Sardar. Hope district state administration would care for this.

This Memorial is by far very underrated, but it is in fact wonderful. Set amongst a beautiful garden, one can find out about the "Iron-man" of India and the struggles the freedom fighters went through to liberate a nation.

This place is known as Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel memorial .It is a quite, peaceful place to relax. Also there is a museum inside at the centre. The garden and the fountain entrance serve a good vibe to stay there. And the care taken by the authorities to maintain it... It is surrounded by tall trees.... And very different from normal gardens...

This is a place situated near Karamsad, birth place of Sardar Vallabhbhai patel and his elder brother. This memorial is a museum where one can find all information about Sardar Vallabhbhai. They have well equipped auditorium also.

The memorial is just outside the Karamsad town on the main road. Easily accessible from Anand or Vallabh Vidyanagar. Built over vast expanse of green park. The main building is befitting the stature of Sardar Patel. Pictures and objects of Sardar Patel are on display. There is an auditorium where a short movie is played. You can buy mementos like pen with inscription of Sardar Patel's signature.

We are based in Nadiad, where Sardar Patel was born. We have recently visited Statue of Unity. That was a nice experience. Here, the experience is pathetic. The positive side of this place is the beautiful gardens around the campus. The monuments kept in the place are very less. The informative movie on the sardar is shown only if some tours (group of more than 50 students/ people) are available. We visited on Sunday, we could see last 10 minutes of the movie as it was running for a group of 120 students. Visit the place if Karamsad is on your way and you can spare 30 minutes.

Nice information, photographs and things are placed here. But no responsible person is deputed here to guide. Only security guard is available for tickets checking and to keep watch.
