We had been to this place for camping. We had set up our tent and had breakfast and tea. The place opens up early in the morning. We reached around 8 am. There is an entry fee of Rs. 100 (for each adult/children) and a fee of Rs 200, if we are carrying food. Car parking is available inside the Nature Education Park. On a different note, Ola, Uber, Jugnu do not offer services in this area. One needs to be there on their own commute. The field staff of the Nature Education Park is very helpful and humble. The park manager was however not available till 11:30. We needed some assistance and had to wait for his arrival. The Park is not very well maintained. However, this actually makes the forest look more natural. Drinking water and washrooms are available at the area.. There are three different trek routes that one may follow to enjoy the forest. We primarily went there for camping and it was a nice trip altogether.

City's mini amazon forest !!! This is not a picnic place but to learn and feel about nature and its diversity. Permission here is restricted and granted to school students and families who are eager to learn about nature. Registration process is completely online. Around 90 types of animals/birds/insects are found in this area.

Saw many birds and animals. Very peaceful place, many ducks and birds are there. Round walk measures- 5 kilometers! Many people come especially to shoot videos and capture birds in pics. There is also a bird watching building. There is a small road which connects lake with farms and canals. Bring binoculars if possible to see far away birds and animals.

A Very Good Place to show kids a mini forest and to get them little closer to mother nature. You can also stay in tents for a day or two but need to plane in advance.

He asked me to read those bloody rules but dint tell me we ain't allowed for 20 mins. Very worst management I spent my 200 coming here. wonderful place surrounded by deep green forest. our club arrange study tour of this place. we are more than 60 boys, girls and professors. we reached here at morning and we all shocked, because we don't know about such a beautiful place. There is a narrow road when you entered the park. after that we reached on the small cantoor like feature. When you reached here you feel the pure air or oxygen, it was amazing feeling. after that there is small amphitheater for seating arrangement, good place for group photographs. after that we take breakfast and get basic information about nature park. 1. Nature park spread over 30 km radius 2. Vadodara's one of the auto weather station is here. 3. various types of plant eater animals are here. like nilgai, deer, forest buffalo, rabbits, monkeys, , types of garden lizards, and more then 80 types of bird species. 4. It is a reserve green belt protected by gujarat government. 5. Here they also have Insect museum etc. after that we take tour of the forest area it was amazing experience but also so exhausting. Nature park also provide night stay and dinner if you pre inform them about your tour but this facilities are only for students who want to come here for study purposes. Head of this nature park was so friendly person who gave us lots of knowledge about park and weather station. overall it was amazing experience. parking, washroom, drinking water facilities are available.

Good place to visit in rainy season. You can see a small museum where in huge varieties of insects are preserved. Its good for a group outing. Good to take tiffins as food is costly.

This place has a lot of biodiversity if you go during the right season. However, do not visit this place with noisy groups who want to have a picnic. They will destroy whatever chances you had of finding rare species of birds and reptiles. The only problem is that though the official timing is from 8:00 am, they only let you in after 10:00 am.
