Unique chutney and tasty patti samosas, fresh hot and also mood lifting. Even the tea and poha tatse good. But the samosas are just yum. Specifically the one call sev samosa fully dipped in chutney with sev. It was closed long time due to covid, but are not back in business.

The samosas are getting expensive as the customers are increasing....but they are the best samosas one can have in Anand- Vidyanagar area.

Maharaj is maharaj. Little change in taste. 2-3 years back samosas used to be spicier than they are right now otherwise tastes almost same. Oil they are using are looks lower quality but not sure about that. Despite having Paytm , they (older uncle seating there) accept cash only for majority of time, may be to save the tax. Normal tea is as usual but ask for a special tea with lesser sugar, one of the maharaj there making it superb. Overall good place but need to improve hygiene, only increase in price and not the ambiance can slowly erod their business.
