Best experience ever, visited different locations in Khambhat, sea coast, Gardens, tamples..you can easily pass some days for relaxation and to enjoy the village life...in November I have visited between 5-9 date, which is fall season so water is not on coast...so try to visit when full moon is arround to see the sea rise...still I witnessed starting water rise..and beautiful sunset....but yes if you want to go to sea side during fall you have to pass long path of muddy route.. which o can't dare..I have only seen dedicated photographer and fish catcher to pass those route 😁

This place is closed. I was stopped by three "guards" at the port road. They mentioned it is closed due to COVID. However the villagers are allowed to go further. The guards also seems to preferentially allow the person belonging to 'sahab'.

Good place, but no management by Nagarpalika Khambhat. Lot of money invested for the development of port by government but Nagarpalika not interested to look into the development.😔

Had a great experience visiting Gulf of Khambhat at the occasion of Uttarayan (Kite Festival) 2023. In Khambhat people are celebrating this festival on the next Sunday from the actual Uttarayan being celebrated in India. The place was full of rush at the time of evening when the celebration was on peek. I loved seeing youngsters, aged pepple coming from all over the Gujarat and flying kites at the gulf of Khmabhat. You can't miss visiting here if you love flying kites. Have a great time, assure will bring the smile on your face in my next review. 🤗

Only visit on Poonam or Amavasya. For the rest of the days, you can see the pictures. Well developed by government but only twice in a month you'll see the water. There is garden aside for children. Parking will not be a problem. You'll get bathroom nearby for men. There will not be drinking water facilities or eateries nearby. So, take your food and water with you while visiting.

Salt farming is main thing, small fountain is their, no arrangement for rest. Near future it may becomes good attraction place for tourist. Fresh fish market with low price at Khambhat. Small prawn Rs. 150 per kg, Live crab Rs. 200 per kg.

I suggest not to visit the beach of Khambhat. There is no water as far as eye can see. Worst beach ever. And the area is totally scarry and undeveloped.

Required Some development and basic facilities for tourists i.e drinking water, seating arrangement, also required one telescope 🔭 for viewing neatest sun set,Also required new road which connects cambay city that road has also required to develop with all palm trees like neja which makes super attraction for tourist. In many times the sea is very far from river cost so some private vehicle arrangements required to reach the sea and also required to make jetty in the sea to reach at view point.

It's a place less explored by the outsiders. Remember it's a gulf. You won't see wavy seas all the time. The tides will bring the water, at most times, late in the day close to the viewpoint. Otherwise you'd see a vast field where cows graze, which is in itself, a serene view to catch. If you're going there from Ahmedabad, the roads will not always be your friends, but the views are really pretty. Perfect breakfast ride for me.

Good place to visit. Not much to do here in the day, but surely in the evening or early morning when there is water might be a different experience.

Nice place for peaceful evenings with family and friends. You can't take your vehicle near the muddy area it is police protected zone. There is one children park also which is temporarily closed (under development). Nearby place: Shanidev mandir Ambe ma madir ITI college Jamma Masjid Shikotar temple (nearly 15 Km)

Well, there is nothing much to see. During the low tide, the water goes back so far that you cannot see it even. Nice place to hangout and have picnic. No toilet facility yet.

Beautiful view of the Gulf of Khambhat. We went during low tide and were able to see a vast serene stretch of the seabed. Visited the famous Jamnadas Mangilal sweet shop after.
