Check Dam...Sindhrot Dam.. Its Free My experience at this place has been quite good, especially for youngsters looking to hang out. There is no ticket system in place, but you do have to purchase a parking ticket, which costs 10rs for 2-wheelers and 20rs for 4-wheelers. I have visited this place multiple times with my friends and colleagues, and it has become a go-to spot for spending quality time. However, it's important to come prepared as the area tends to be quite sleepy. Additionally, while the water is clear, it's disheartening to see that tourists and other people are spreading garbage in the water, which affects its beauty. That being said, I highly recommend this place as a must-visit. It serves as a simple check dam where you can hang out with friends. The best time to go is during the evening sunset, which offers a picturesque view. You can also find vendors selling corn and packed snacks for your convenience. The roads leading to the place may not be in the best condition, so having a 2-wheeler is preferable. Overall, it's a beautiful site to spend time with your family or friends. If you visit early in the morning, you can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, while the sunset adds an extra touch of magic. Moreover, during the monsoon season, this place offers a unique adventure feel. It's important to remember to take care of nature and avoid spreading garbage around. Let's all contribute to maintaining the cleanliness and beauty of this place.

One of the best place in the Vadodara to visit. There is no charges for entering this place and parking is also free. Alot of space is available for parking. Best time to go there is during morning and evening because crowd is not there. If you wanna bath then you can. Must carry socks with you because you can't walk with bare foot. The reason behind this is due to algae. Continuous flowing of water develops algae so socks must be with you. And the locals sells socks. Try boiled corn here It is quite tasty.

Nice view of Mahisagar river. Near Kotna bridge. With parking facility. Best place to relax and meditate. But to reach near the river, we need to go downhill which is difficult for senior citizens. Same while going upwards. Excellent view.

Free water park, full of fun. Carry shocks to avoid slips, although shops are available to buy shock. Carry extra dresses if you are ready to have fun in water

This used to be one of the nearest picnic spots for Vadodara residents. However in last few years it has turned out to be a tourist destination with lot of activities to indulge in. The place is now bit developed with viewing gallery and paved approach way. There is a dedicated paid parking lot (Rs. 20 for each 4-wheeler). There are several small shops selling tea, chops, corns and other snacks. One can also buy socks (Rs. 20 each pair) to wear and go to the check dam as it may be very slippery without socks.

A simple check dam where you can come to hang out with your friends. Peaceful place if you come early in the morning. But the best time to visit is around sunset. You get corn and packed snacks here. The roads not that great so a 2-wheeler is preferred.

Better place to visit and spend some time with yourself. Also you can enjoy small walk on the top wall of check dam. This walk can give you relief. Do not forget to wear socks before walk because the wall of dam is very slippery. you can find a pair of socks at nominal price of 10rs at near by stalls.

Good natural place to visit near Vadodara. However, stil has lots of scope for development. Avoid going on rainy days.. Road is narrow and chances of your vehicle getting stuck in mud is high! Locals (if they wish), can develop this place with more facilities which can attract more visitors and in their revenue can be increased.

Best place for sunset and afternoon adventure. People need to wear socks to roam freely. There are shops that provide socks and tasty food. Parking fee for 2 wheelers is β‚Ή10/- (post lockdown). USP of this place is corn. People in Corona are not taking proper measures.

Amazing place. full of peace. Good place to go with family and kids. if you're planning to go there, Don't forget to bring a pair of Sox with you. because the surface is so sleepy that you won't be even able to walk without Sox!. because of so much alga. And if you forget then you can buy from there which costs 20-30rs something. water is kinda clean and transparent. down side the water isn't too deep. If you stand up there, the water will be till your Waist. so you can take and enjoy bath easily. to the bottom part from upper part includes using slide type surface. so you just simply sleep and reach down side. we are used to go there at evening. but don't go too late. The officers won't let you stay late evening. It is kinda safe to go there but at the same time, from the other side of the dam, there is a danger of crocodile 🐊. so it's better to be careful. About food, it's better to bring your own. and yes, you can have corn 🌽 there. you can stand on the upper part of the dam and enjoy the running water from your feet, breath clean air, listen to the bird chirping, chase sunset and feel the stillness.

Absolutely beautiful hidden gem in Vadodara. Wear socks before you get into the water, enjoy the sunset and have boiled corn and khichu. Sometimes the smallest things give you immense pleasure. Do visit if you want a escape from routine.

It's amazing place for time pass and refresh tour self with friends in evening sun set time. No tickets or more public there. Only traffic in weekends. In monsoon water is pure and flowing above the dam and good sights foe visit. No other facilities available ther for food. Only parking ticket required in weekends. Good for photography and evening time pass near vadodara. Cleaning is only one problem there. Also from other side of Dam also good for view and photographs.

Built across the Mahi river near Sindhrot Village, the Sindhrot Check Dam has Β become a popular picnic spot. Summers in Gujarat are scorching and locals come here for a quick dip to cool off on a hot day. There are small stalls around that sells locals street food where you can grab a bite. Sunsets at the dam are a highlight and if you are looking for a serene place to simply be and see the understated side of Gujarat, you will love a day out here. The view is literally the experience of the place and if you are an avid photographer, you can easily spend a few hours at the dam clicking some fabulous pictures during your visit. Best time to visit is during monsoon and after monsoon !

The check dam at Sindhrot Village across Mahi River is a small tourist place where people can enjoy in the river water. The river water overflows in the dam and is used by local villagers to collect water and wash clothes. You can walk on the dam where shallow water flows, slide over a watery slope or bathe in the river water pool (approx. 3 ft.). But the dam surface is slimy/slippery and socks are compulsory if you want to walk along the dam. Beware of diving into the reservoir which is very deep (maybe 20 ft. Or more). Beware of tearing of clothes if you want to slide down the water slope. Visitors usually come in evenings at weekends/holidays and you can see a nice sunset. It is not advisable to visit after sunset. The place is not developed properly and it is not maintained. Tourists litter the place with food packet covers and plastic bags. The area around the dam is rocky so you need to be careful. You can get hot steam corn or khichu/papdi no lot at nearby stalls. There is no entry ticket but there is scooter/car parking available. Car parking fee is Rs.20/-. This can also climb a small hill nearby there which gives a good view.

An old and known check dam located in sevasi district, just outside of Vadodara. It is a popular tourist and local attraction for getaway, photo shoots, etc. Also its a valuable water source for the local villagers here. There is parking facility available for 2 wheelers as well as 4 wheelers. 10 and 20 for 7 hours parking resp. Best time to visit is near to sunset. Avoid visiting after dark as this place is notoriously famous for shady and criminal activities.
