Good doctors, unprofessional staff! Especially the reception. Doctor’s schedule changed, and staff didn’t even inform me. I dragged my 78 years old mother, with multiple medical complications, and mobility restrictions, all the way to the hospital on time, only to be told doctor has left. The staff at reception were more focused on how to pin the blame back on the patient, rather than helping or remediation. First, the reception informed us that they tried to reach us, but my phone was switched off. Upon enquiring the exact time when such a call was attempted, they had no response! Then I informed them that my phone was switched off 2 days back for precisely a 13 hours window, and the staff claimed that they had called in that window, not realising that 10.5 out of those 13 hours were at night between (6 PM to 4:30 AM next morning), which clearly shrouds a cloud over their claim! When I enquired why wasn’t a follow-up call attempted in the past 2 days, again no response! Why couldn’t they have sent a text message, no response! Terrible experience, lackadaisical, callous and irresponsible staff attitude towards patients! This appointment was taken 10 days in advance because we were travelling from outside Baroda and had to consult the doctor urgently. Now, the 78 year old patient has to suffer another 3 days, not because of the doctor, but because of this irresponsible staff behaviour, who don’t seem to care two hoots about inconvenience they may be causing the patients! I have a simple question, what if we were residing outside Baroda and had been visiting only for this consultation? Can you imagine the inconvenience, it would have caused in such a case, because the staff is busier chatting among themselves than actually doing their job!

So our consultanting doctor was Dr. Rakesh Shah, he was excellent in his field. And ofcourse explains well in simple language. Now about services and facilities, I'm really happy with that as well. First you just don't have to worry about patient, they will take care of all the stuffs like medicines on time, lunch, breakfast and other stuff as well. By the way for the patient, home-made food is not allowed. If you are local means from Baroda, then only one person is allowed with patient. And if you are like from out of baroda may be then 2 persons are allowed. Probably this kind of policy is there. Bed for the relative is ofcourse also available. Neat and clean and well organized Hospital. Staff was also helpful and polite. There are mainly 3 types of rooms are available. 1.] General Ward [ 3 patients in a room] 2.] Semi special [2 patients in a room] 3.] Special As of my experience general ward and semi special difference doesn't make much sense. Difference which is considerable is bed for the relative is beside to patient's bed in semi special room while in general ward bed is in different space away from the patient's bed. About an expenses, Moderate. Overall I'm satisfied with all the aspects. And also recommended.

Best doctors with idiotic staff really need to chance the staff specially at reception. This morning I called got the appointment for which doctor I wanted to consult. When I got there they said doctor is on leave and they didn't even bother to call me and even though they had my number. Also it's hard to hear them due to poor phone lines.1st of all receptionist need to consult a doctor themselves. Something not right with there minds.

My mother was operated by Dr. Suresh Nayak. To be very honest, he is the bestest neurosurgeon and we couldn’t have ask for anything better. I really appreciate Dr Suresh Nayak for being so generous with us the whole time. Every day in my mom’s life will be better because of him. Anyone who’s been suffering from any neurological problem should consult him. The staff is so helpful and kind. They were so humble during our 5 days of stay. Please don’t go after any bad reviews. Poor time management. Went their to just show reports to Dr Acharya with 1.45 appointment despite of having appointment waited 4 hours to just show reports. Management must work on to their time management.

I have appointment with dr.suresh Nayak to show my father reports when I ask questions she answered very rudely like tane gujarati khabar pade che ?? Ek var khabar nai padti , we pay 1000 not free of cost this type of unprofessional behaviour not expected from VINS zero star for Suresh Nayak.

I should have given 0 star if it was allowed. Doctor is not ready to listen and provide information about what treatment and operation will be done. He says you do not need to understand, just go to account section and pay money for operation. Account section person treats you like dumb. Just to discuss with then regarding operation cost estimation, you have to pay 500 Rs. processing fee. After waiting for 1 hour and completing their chit-chat they will attend you. No proper information provided. All this after they advertise "Rights of information" on their display tv. Beware of fraud promises and big names.

I was admitted to Vins and I have a contrary view of some reviews, of which there were allegations that the 5 star reviews were given by patients who were enticed by the management. I am very Happy with the Doctors who attended to me and my special Thanks to Senior Dr. Rakesh Shah & Dr.Maulik Panchal who explained in Detail and left no Stone unturned on their Diagnosis. They with their vast experience have also explained the after effects as well the course of recovery. I am well satisfied and have great gratitude towards the entire team. The diets were well scrutinised and offered timely and the food was of high quality. My special Gratitude to the Nursing Staff who looked after my well being to the fullest. My Special room was kept clean and cleaning details were very well observed. Whatever some suggestions were given, were implemented immediately. The Physiotherapists were prompt and took great efforts, I Thank them also. The overall ratings should have been a 5 Star, but I have given 4 star as there may be some false thinkers who may say I too was biased. I Wish them great Success and keep the efforts moving. My salute to the Doctors.

Unprofessional Assistant doctors Had a bad experience with the staff who did not connect me with the Dr. in consultation for my Wife, I was travelling and out of Vadodara where my Wife visited with her reports and met Dr. Rakesh whose consultation my wife was not clear about, hence i had to call the hospital where the staff Smitha / Swati she wasn't clear literally denied transferring the call to Dr. Rakesh and kept giving excuses sometime she said Dr. was with a patient sometimes she said Dr. Rakesh was not at the hospital and was finding ways to disconnect my call. Is this what we call patient care then we will have to seriously rethink over visiting this hospital again.

Although doctors Rakesh shah I very good and intelligent. But the waiting time and staff is very bad. Every time patients have to wait for long hours. They give appointments on 2 PM and when patient have to wait till 5 PM. So appointment timing and all should be harmonised.

Hospital houses various specialists in the field of neuroscience. The treatment was good but the place could be run a lot more professionally. Required lot of follow-ups to get things done.

VINS HOSPITAL is around 50 bedded tertiary care hospital specialized in Neurology and Neurosurgery. Best Neuro hospital in western region of India with ultra modern technology. They have excellent human resources and excellent team of Neurophysician and Neurosurgery. Aprt from Neuro, it has other speciality like Vascular surgery, cardiology, on call orthopaedic and info surgeon. Their approach towards patients is also excellent. The Doctors are best in treatment and behavior is also excellent. Staff also well mannered and well behaved. Their approach during COVID timings.

Doctors in this hospital will force you to do operation even if it can be treated without operation. We all know the reason behind it - Vitamin M. My friend was operated upon even though it was not needed by frightening her. And that resulted in further complications. Even after waiting for 2 days and seeing no further improvement, we decided to shift to other hospital in Mumbai. Luckily she got required treatment there and saved. As per Mumbai's doctor opinion , issue could have been easily treated by physiotherapy of 15 days.

Worst worst worst. Absolutely no regards for Appointments given. Only one answer from reception. Either Dr has not come to Dr is in emergency surgery. The reception will not even tell the correct time when he will be available.

The support staff and service at VINS hospital was excellent throughout the Pre and post operation process. They were meticulous at every step and our consulting doctor , Dr.Prateek Parekh and his team handled the complete situation with utter professionalism. Beware, most of the 5 star reviews are from internal employees only. Management asks staff to rate here for better perks for them. Coming to my experience, they are utter unprofessional. They force you to get operated when it can be treated without that also. My relative's health deteriorated after the operation. If you ask any questions, they don't have time to listen to patient. Their standard answer is "We can't predict how patient body reacts". Only prediction they get correct is hefty money collection by telling patients to get operated. They charge for even a single relative to stay with patient. Reply to the Comment : I tired to contact you multiple times during hospital stay and after that also. Standard replies were : Lunch is going on for Admin, Doctor is busy, Owner is out of station.

I have been treated for head injury and operates by Dr Pratik parekh sir in emergency 6 month back and my life saved by removing bone flap of brain that is required @ that time. After 4 month bone flap kept again and I am living my life absolutely normal. It's like my new life . She does not take any hard food only on liquid.we refer to Dr.pratik in vins, He suggested operation, The day of operation is going 8 hours and the operation is successfully done. Today I come with my mother she could not walk. Best care taken by staff. Best Wheel chair facility. Approach towards patient is quite cool. I impressed with my first impression till now.

Dont go to this hospital… this is worst hospital.. government should ban this hospital.. they took money and do nothing to patients and telling that all are in gods hand.. we cant give you the proper answer.. They hole in the throat of patients without any permission and not the small but its big one.. And Doctors is not listening to anyone they do themselves anything to patients… WORST HOSPITAL IN THIS WHOLE UNIVERSE

Normal public consider the doctor as second to the god. But beware of gods of this temple. As they already take money and consent before operating, they are least bothered about success of the treatment. They make sure you suffer during the (ill)treatment if you ask them any doubts. If hospital is taking lakhs (Inflating 30 to 40 percent of cost estimation provided at time of admission) of rupees for just 3 days of treatment, can't you spare even 5 minutes to talk to the patient/their relatives?

Hospital ask to take prior appointment we are waiting since last one and half he. On asking person told me that they give same time appointment to everyone. Not sure what kindly of appointment they give. Even on request that Patient can’t seat longer person is not ready to lesson. Management should seriously look in to these and start giving proper appointments.

The hospital should honour the appointment time, they commit while booking an appointment. Understand, the hospital got expert doctors, however this shouldn’t be taken for granted or being used as an excuse to keep patient waiting for long hours. Had to wait for more than hour to just show the reports which took less than 5 minutes with Doctor at the end.

Very bad management. I don’t understand why they give appointments when they themselves don’t follow any rules or timings. This is the second time when they gave me appointment at 1:30pm and kept me waiting till 3. Totally Worthless and hopeless BAKWAAAAAS MANAGEMENT

some of staff are good but most of them were very very rude as specially the entrance gate reception staff and some of security guard of them.. please arrange some facilities in outside ur hospital for other relatives of patients who stay at hospital for patient..
