Lovely place with variety of Flora and Fauna, Animal Zoo, Toy train, Crocodile Park, river passing through it. This even houses the Big Cats. Located just 5 mins away from Vadodara Junction and Bus Terminus. Must visit if you have even an hour time between transit. Zoo tickets are nominal, ₹80 for adults and ₹ 30 for Children.

Most recommended place to visit in Vadodara. Garden covered with lush greenery, huge trees having multiple amenities to enjoy like zoo, museum, planetarium, mini train, rides for kids, sculptures, equipments for exercise and lot more. Perfect place for a one day trip. Also it's best place for morning joggers with 1.95 Km of track.

ature, I can say that the park is a true oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of the city. The park is filled with lush greenery, tall trees, and beautiful flowers. It is the perfect place to unwind and relax, away from the noise and pollution of the city. The park has many attractions like the toy train, aquarium, and zoo. I personally loved the toy train ride, which takes you around the park and provides an opportunity to see the entire park. The aquarium is also a great place to visit, especially for kids, as they can see various types of marine life. The park also has a beautiful pond with a fountain, which adds to the beauty of the park. The park is perfect for a family outing or a picnic with friends. The park has ample seating arrangements, and there are also food stalls that serve delicious snacks. Overall, Sayaji Baug is an excellent place to visit for anyone who wants to escape the chaos of the city and enjoy some peaceful time in nature. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Vadodara.

Sayaji Baug in Vadodara is a must-visit for nature lovers! The garden is well-maintained with lush greenery, perfect for a peaceful walk or exercise. There are plenty of activities for kids too, including a toy train. A person like me who belongs from eastern part of India was clueless about the family gathering in the middle of a week

Sayaji Baug, also known as Kamati Baug, is a massive green square in the middle of the town, which houses the famous Museum and Picture Gallery, and other kid-friendly sights like an aquarium, zoo, health museum, planetarium, a toy train and a flowerbed clock. The Baroda Museum & Picture Gallery is home to a diverse collection of art, much of it gathered by Maharaja Sayajirao III, including statues and carvings from several Asian regions, fine ivory carvings from India, Japan and China, a modest Egyptian room with a mummy and an entire floor of stuffed and pickled wildlife specimens. The gallery has lovely Mughal miniatures and a motley crew of European masters. This is the largest public garden in the western part of the country, sprawled over 113 acres. Over 96 species of trees and a small zoo make this an interesting place for nature lovers.

A huge garden in the middle of Vadodara (Baroda) named after the great Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III. It has two museums, a zoo, a planetarium, a flower clock, and a toy train for children. Lots of trees makes this place very pleasant for visitors as well as morning/evening walkers.

Wonderful place with peace and harmony for morning walks. You can enjoy soothing old-era golden songs during your walk which has surrounded by speakers throughout the whole park. Also water 💧 fountains ⛲ and gym equipment are there in the park area. It is a must-visit place in Baroda. Baroda museum and gallery is also present in this area.

It is a good place and a must to go for every Barodian. The garden is covered with nature all around the way and you can find the locals exercise here every morning. During Vacation time (May-June) there was a Happy Street which took place here which provided all sorts of fun activities to do. It provided Zumba, Cycling, football, etc.

Good place for kids to play and have fun. But the zoo has lesser animals. Needs more efficient maintenance, regular inspection. Joytrain is fun.

One among the best places to visit in Vadodara. Large garden area, large green lawn, wayside sitting arrangements attracts everyone. It also houses a museum and a planetarium. The Zoo inside it has lots of attractive animals. The toy train is a real joy ride for children. Worth visiting.

Do not visit zoo for wild animals, it is under construction and no lion as of now. Garden area is superb. Drinking water is there, go with snacks and Amul shop is inside for ice-cream and milk. Joy train - Yes. Enjoy. Very big garden. Must visit band stand in weekend days for live music concerts.

Very well maintained public park. Great place to go for morning / evening walks, play area for kids and enough place for youngsters to date. There is enough parking available outside on either sides too. No tickets for entry to the park.

Brief History: It was Maharaja Sayaji Rao Gaekwad III that built the Kamati Baug (or Sayaji Baug) in 1879 for the citizens of Baroda. It was constructed on the banks of River Vishwamitri as a beautiful backdrop to the greenery, museums and galleries.

It's one of the best garden I have visited, It's open whole day....you can go for a morning walk, you can with you family n friends for picnic, day out.... children get lot of space to play around, it's has museum, Toy Train, Zoo etc to entertain you whole day....it also has one of the main attraction if people are not local.. It also has lot of food stall outside which get starts early morning which serve you healthy as well as fast food too which complete your walk, outing and give you lot of joy. Recommend to visit Sayaji Baug....I suggest to take water bottle along with you as it's very big and you need to time to visit it. If you are going with children for outing then I recommend you to take some mate with you so that you can seat properly which children enjoy the environment.
