Awesome garden for all age .. Best place for children. Best place for runners. Best place for walking. If you want something change you must try. If you want picnic best option in gandhinagar. You need to come with your family and friends. Enjoy the life. I suggest you need to come on two wheeler because most of people come with car issue face parking. Garden is too big. Parking is also big but weekend very crowded. Food also available so enjoy it. You can not take packed snacks. You can take home made snacks for children.

The periphery of the garden is a little over 1km and the track is good for running/walking. You’ll find a variety of flora and fauna here which make for this garden’s scenic beauty. Right behind the garden is Sant Sarovar dam. The garden is also next to the place where the city hosts Vasant Mahotsav.

Nice space for people to come with family.outside Food is not allowed. It is perfect to be there at evenings and it could be pretty hot during hours. Perfect for children.langurs, peacocks,squirrels,parrots and lot of other birds. Car parking is available. Perfect for a family to spend evening hours.

Cool place to hang out amidst the trees and plants here. There is a dedicated kids play area with slides, seesaws etc.. Also, small grass playgrounds are available so one can play games like badminton here as often seen here. Washroom facility is available here and if you feel hungry there is a place for light refreshments also.

Nice calm and very much greenish, now it's also ideal for the family even, previous it's notorious that it's only for couples but now scenario is changed for family and friends too it's big and having kids play areas with all working activities, very clean and green, there is also one small store inside garden where you can have tea, coffee some snacks and cold drinks also. Behind the garden there is also a view of sant sarovar dam. It looks spectacular. Friends families can enjoy well here you can spend 3 hours easily.

Loved it. It was evening and I think that's the best time to be here. So calm, that you can hear your own heartbeat, LOL!! The lush green garden with adequate benches, swings, metallic lion statues add to the anesthetics. Oftentimes you would be greeted by peacocks proudly flaunting their assets. Oh, I love this place. You can find many spots that are super beautiful for a candid photograph.

Sarita Udhyan is a peaceful place. I saw many peacock 🦚 and squirrel 🐿️ , birds🕊️🐦. Beauty of peacock 🦚 is a heaven ❤️😍 in this world 🌎 . I really enjoyed the calm here. And the best place to hangout with friends and Family. Lots of 🌲 trees are here surrounded by this area.

Beautiful park for spending your evening. As it's hot in Gandhinagar i won't suggest anyone to visit during afternoon timing. It says it closes at 7:00 pm but I was there today till 7:30pm it was still open. It has an open gym Sitting benches Sitting area with shed Swings for kids Beautiful flowers and trees It was a pleasant evening walk. People come with families for having a picnic kind of. It's a good park for morning and evening walks/ workout. Also, we spotted alot of peacocks 🦚

Nice garden and play ground for children. Security don't let go with home food there.so, if you plan to go there with your home made food and eat in beautiful atmosphere, you would have to eat food at outside of park or in parking. I also share rules and regulations. Please,read it and enjoy.

Sarita Udyan, it brought back so many memories for me, especially since I have visited it frequently as a young student (school, college and university days). Used to cycle from home and then jog and then do a cross country hike as well in the morning. Now it looks neatly manicured and tastefully done in terms of landscaping. However, the thrill of discovery and exploration is all gone with this. Missed the metallic 'rocket' that used to mark the landscape, which we used to clamber up as kids and even much later about 10-12 years back. However, really happy to see the beautifully maintained gardens and the toilets inside and outside. Plenty of peafowl in the gardens. As also other birds. Evidence of presence of nilgai going by the footprints and droppings.

It's an amazing place.If you're nature lovers then this place gives you a peaceful time.If you've like to refresh your mind and refreshing your things then must go to this garden.Amazing Nature with the beautiful trees,birds & flowers.There are also many instruments available for exercise.So if you're living at Gandhinagar then you can choose this garden for you're morning exercise. #staywithnature

It is huge garden...but not maintained. No entry fee. People are sleeping on lawns. No major attraction.. can be made more beautiful by maintaining and charging nominal fee.

The place is well maintained but more suitable to kids and there are many play areas. But the bad thing is right outside the park there are many Pan Shops which is not a good thing around the kids. The shops inside were closed so nothing to buy there and the water stream over which the passages are completely dry and many couples could be seen snugging. So I don’t think there is much to do here. I went to Punit Van before this. That is a much better place to be at.

Good for morning and evening jogging Nice place to soak the sun in winters. Nice shady trees to spend summer afternoon. Very peacefull. You will frequently find nature walking besides you ( pecock and many more bird species) Cons: Love birds hideout. Highend camera not allowed. ( Mobile phones allowed) Outside eatables not allowed. NO public transportation available.

Huge garden, well-maintained, Sabarmati river flows just at the back of it. Peaceful! Picnics are a great idea. But make sure you don't litter, not only b'coz the beautiful garden will look dirty but there are plenty of monkeys!

I was there in the morning. I found this place is too much crowded with people. But still you can find it very peaceful. If you want to see less crowd then I will recommend to go Punit Van it is also bigger than this.
