First biggest Zoo or you can say Bird-Animal sanctuary , first Impressions the Entry so Grand from that you can emagine the inner area, very huge I can say Jungle because natural environment you can see there, cab /taxis there because it's huge area so they take you and shows different segments, you need one hour to visit full area, entry free here inside food court also because it's large area you need more than hour to visit each cages. The atmosphere I like most full of natural scenery, even clean and hygienic environment. Government do best work and make the best Zoo.must visit it. just near to statue of Unity. Animal like tiger, leopard, deer, monkey, hippopotamus, different types of birds you can see here.

Located very nearby to the Statue of Unity. This must be in your checklist if you are visiting SOU. There are different sections in the safari based on different species of the animals. You will get different species of herbivores, carnivores, birds, monkeys, Reptiles, pythons and many more. There are 2 huge aviaries with many colorful birds. We can walk through in it and watch the birds from very near distance. Online booking is highly recommended to avoid unwanted waiting time in the queue. Different sections of the safari are connected with continuous frequency of electric golf cart. Management is very impressive. Each section of the area is maintained very well. You can spend 2-3 hours of time easily. Children are going to enjoy a lot.

Visited the Jungle Safari near the Statue of Unity in Gujarat and had a wonderful time. The safari is a huge park with different zones for animals from different continents. There are lions, tigers, leopards, zebras, giraffes, kangaroos and many more. The animals looked healthy and well-cared for. The safari also has two large aviaries with many colorful birds. You will enjoy walking through the aviaries and listening to the birds chirping. The safari is very scenic and surrounded by hills and forests. The staff was friendly and helpful. The safari is a great place to learn about wildlife and nature. Must visit place to anyone who loves animals and adventure.

Recreation of this jungle is really great. Government has put lot of efforts to do this. It's not basically Jungle Safari . Especially Aviary where all the birds are kept and can fly in large area. It's a good place to go to watch different kind of Wild animals and birds. They have kept wide variety such as Lion, White tiger, Rhino, hippopotamus, various types of deers, dozens of birds. Also some rare to find animals in India like Giraffe, alpaca, Llamas, and some exotic birds which are rare to see

It's one of the attraction in Kevadiya near statue of unity. It's not safari actually. Its kind of zoo. There are pretty good animals to see. White tiger is one of them. They have golf cart inside to take a ferry for free of cost. Overall a good experience. No need to buy tickets in advance. You can get it from counter too. PS. They accept only debit / credit cards. Don't visit during afternoon time as most of the animals are sleeping.

If you are visiting SOU this place must be on your bucket list. The ticket price is 100rs per person. Advanced ticket booking is highly recommended. There are lots of animals to see closely on your luck. There are lots of varieties of birds available to see specially they have created the large area so it'll look more beautiful to see all birds together. There's giraffes, lions, Asian tigers, chimpanzees, rakoons, monkeys & panthers are available. Highly recommended if you are visiting with your children. You can spend 2-3 hours to see each animal closely. Very well maintained & clean place.

To witness a great experience, include this to your sou trip. Totally different from the Jungle Safari you usually do. Walk and enjoy the tour by yourself. Animals and birds from four continents (Asia, America, Africa, Australia) are brought here and they live in a place almost similar to their natural habitat. To cover the distance between one area to other, golf carts are available, which is free of cost. Witness the beauty of World's largest dome aviary. Book your tickets in advance to avoid the que and enjoy a hastle free time.

Also some rare to find animals in India like Giraffe, alpaca, Llamas, and some exotic birds which are rare to see. Only thing i personally don't like is the space given to some birds and monkeys. I think they must be given a huge space and a good ecosystem to live. Or the best thing would be to have humans in a caged vehicle and keep animals in a much larger open area.

Jungle Safari at Statue of Liberty is a really wonderful recreation for visitors . This Jungle Safari is very well maintained by the government. All birds are kept in aviary and allowed to fly in large area. It's a good place for visitors to watch different kinds of Wild animals and birds at one point. Safari authorities have kept wide variety such as Lion, White tiger, Rhino, hippopotamus, various types of deers, dozens of birds. Some rare to find animals in India like Giraffe, alpaca, Llamas, and some exotic birds can also be seen here.

Jungle Safari at SOU is a nature / wild life lover's delight. Caddy car will take you around to see a couple of aviaries and wild life enclosure. Highlights of the visit: 🦋 Visiting wildlife from different continents maintained in separate sections 🦋 Aviaries are a must visit.Endless beauty of the birds there is mind blowing 🦋The section of monkeys from around the globe is like an eye opener 🦋 Enclosure of the wild cats are really amazing and interactive And after the safari enjoy lunch / snack or just ice-cream at the cafes near the entrance for a picnic type feel with your family.

I recently went on a jungle safari near the Statue of Unity and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The arrangements were top-notch and the guides were knowledgeable and friendly. We were able to see a variety of rare species during the safari, which was a real treat. The scenery was breathtaking and it was such a unique and exciting way to spend the day. I highly recommend this jungle safari to anyone visiting the area, it's definitely worth it!

One of the best zoo with many different unique species of animals and birds. The most amazing place is the large birds dome where the birds are kept open and path is made for visiter to walk and see the different spices of birds. It's constructed in large area to provide sufficient open space for most the animals and birds. Electric vehicles are available to roam the zoo. Must visit place if you're visiting statue of unity.

The Jungle Safari is good place to visit especially with kids. From statue of unity you will get frequent AC buses which you can catch and reach this place. It is very well maintained and huge in size. You will get to see wild animals, different varieties of bird species, water animals, domestic animals. Clean place, food options with clean washrooms. After some points, they have electric vehicles pick up points through which you can travel from one point to another to cover the safari. Overall nice one day trip spot for kids and animal lovers.

I have gone with my friends and also saw the different type of international birds and animals, some are coming soon but some are there. You need to go threw their SOU special buses, you are not allowed to take your personal vehicle. In this you must have atleast 2-3 hours to see the different types of animals and birds. Special I recommend the bird section is very impressive for us as well children.

Jungle safari is open from 8.00 am to 5 or 6 pm. Aviary is good and has variety of colourful birds. Big cats are there but its still under construction and many animals are yet to brought in here like white lion, white tiger etc. lion, lioness, cub, tiger, bear, giraffe, racoon, hippopotamus, rhino, spotted deer, reindeer and variety of deers black buck etc, and list goes on.. the whole safari is done in an electric cart. Window Tickets are not available so you have to book online in advance. At the end there is a food court in case you get hungry after jungle safari.

Jungle safari at SOU is huge and you will take approx 2 hours to cover the place. Wear a good footwear when you visit this place. Buggies are available till 11am and post that, bus service is provided. If you have senior citizens / people who have difficulty walking long distances may face challenges. This is a must visit place 😊 very well maintained and the staff is very helpful. We were stuck as buggie service was closed and bus service had started, since my mom is on wheelchair, we couldn't take the bus. Ms. Neelam from RFO Tourism came to pick us up. Many thanks to You Ms. Neelam 🙏

Within the Statue of Unity premises, different places of visit have been developed. One of the beautiful ones is the Jungle Safari. Part of it can be roamed on a battery vehicle and most of it is walkable. Many exotic birds and animals, both of Indian as well as of Foreign origin, have been caged here. It was a wonderful experience visiting the Jungle Safari. People of all age group and gender enjoy the Safari.

A very well maintained jungle safari. Though the safari is yet not fully developed and is in its initial development phase, but its worth visiting. A Rs200/- entry ticket and Rs200 for a DSLR camera is absolutely worth the money. Many species of birds and animals have been got to this zoo… and d development shows many more to come… a must visit place when you take a trip to Statue of unity ( Kevadia )

A 200rupee fee. You'll get a bus when you come back to statue parking. Maybe there be long ques to ignore it you can take a electric vehicle or wait for the bus. Zoo cum jungle safari you just keep in mind u need to walk a lot. So keep your shoeless tight. You'll cover 70% of the safari by the safari vehicle. There are some large dome like cages where you need to go out of the vehicle to go inside the dome and watch all the animals and birds available inside. A wide variety of herbivore and carnivore animals and colorful birds available. This zoo is still being made/ developed so there are a lot of workers and tractors/diggers around. We didn’t know this before arriving. Most need to walk more today. Most animals were sleeping when we visited and many were just eating whatever the staff provide them. Some could be seen anywhere in their cages. There's a costly food area available inside there.

I had a delightful time at the Jungle Safari last weekend, and surprisingly, it wasn't too crowded, which made the experience even more enjoyable! 🚙🌳 The Statue of Unity Jungle Safari is a fantastic spot, especially if you're visiting with kids. 🐾👶 It's like entering a wildlife wonderland with various animals to marvel at. One highlight is the availability of golf carts that take you on a leisurely tour through the entire Jungle Safari. 🏞️🚗 It's not only convenient but adds an extra element of fun to your adventure. The atmosphere is serene and filled with the sounds of nature, making it a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. 🌿🐦 Take your time exploring, and don't forget to capture those candid moments with the majestic animals. Best place. Tickets are available no need to book in advance. Lots of variety of birds and animals can be seen here. The place is silent. Small auto are available inside free of costs. Rare species of birds are available. Plenty of animals are available. Very good to spend time here. You need minimum 2 to 3 hours to see all sections.

If you are visiting SOU you should also visit the jungle safari also. You can board a free bus from SOU campus for Jungle Safari. The ticket price for the jungle safari is 100 per Indian adult. And don't forget to carry the water bottle as the safari is vast and in half of the part you can walk and in rest of the area you can travel by golfkart which is also included in the ticket price. There is vast bird sanctuary in which you will see exotic birds. There is white tiger, leopard, loins, Giraffe, and many more animals. Here is I am sharing pictures for your reference.

Try going early mornings or late evenings as you will have to walk most of the way and the sun above may take toll on you. Fun place for kids to meet all the animal and birds species.

  • 4/5 Naveen S. 2 years ago on Google
This place is being visited by almost all SoU visiters. They have 14 seater & 11 seater golf cart in the safari to move around. It's more like a zoo than a safari. Though exotic birds sanctuary is just awesome.

We got here on a bus from the SOU bus station. We had tickets on our mobile device so within minutes we were inside. This zoom is still being made/ developed so there are a lot of workers and tractors/diggers around. We didn’t know this before arriving. Most animals were sleeping when we visited. Some could be seen anywhere in their cages. The aviary was lovely. Smelt a bit fishy as they’d just been given fish to eat. Beautiful peacocks and a white peafowl as well. Animals my kids have never seen before in reality. The rhino was amazing. And we saw it from so close it was unreal. A golf cart service takes you from one area to the other. These are regular. There’s a waterfall inside that’s perfect for selfies. Food shops inside as well selling Indian fast food and ice cream. Once this place has been completed I think it would be greater place to visit. In a few years I hope to return and see what’s new here.

  • 5/5 Asif M. 11 months ago on Google
Loved it! It is very well planned and made of international standards. You will be taken in a golf cart once you pass the wild animals enclosure, and you can watch animals living in their natural habitat. there is a normal birds enclosure and one for exotic birds. Must visit!! Enjoy😊

It's not basically Jungle Safari as we think of.. and if you been to Singapore's Jungle Safari, then you will laugh at this one.. but a museum of animals is great. Especially Aviary where all the birds are kept and can fly free in large area.

  • 3/5 Vedantsing P. 11 months ago on Google
A site with unlimited potential but still requires lot of maintenance and re-doing according to me. Not sure whether it's in the early stages or not but the overall experience was a little underwhelming or perhaps just OK! First of all, it's not exactly a jungle safari, and they should've call themselves that. It's literally a ZOO. All that's being done like a jungle safari is transporting the visitors from one Zoo/Sanctuary to another. I believe the experience could've been even better with the following - 1) Guides - To guide us through each and every animal and some interesting facts about them 2) Attendance of all Animals - Many of the animals were not present in the zoo and hence it was a little disappointing 3) An ACTUAL JUNGLE SAFARI Overall, I believe it can be improved a lot. However, my first visit here, I wouldn't rate it much higher!

  • 4/5 Dhiren S. 11 months ago on Google
It’s really great to see such development and attractions but some basic needs of people must be think through. There should be proper guided map about what all thing are available where. Also animals health doesn’t look much good and seems just for attraction they are being brought. If all animals are to be in cage during certain hours then people should be kept informed. If some animals is not available for any reason people should be made aware as we we’re not able to see many animals as all of them were in cage.

All-new Jungle safari and the world-class zoo. Top attraction for wildlife lovers and animal lovers. It includes animals like lions, rhinos, tigers, giraffes, bison, leopards, 12 types of deer and antelopes, zebras, and other exotic animals Awesome place, well maintained People says you can completely view this place in 2 hrs But it's not true. Based on my experience, 4 hrs are not enough if you want to experience real jungle safari. For photographer, this place is heaven

  • 4/5 Divyajitsinh P. 2 years ago on Google
Best experience with birds. It is kind of a one huge cage where all birds can roam around and we are allowed go inside and watch them. It's one of the best feeling if you're bird lover.

  • 4/5 Dhaval S. 1 year ago on Google
It is spread over a large area and has wide variety of animals and birds. Birds related aviary sections are very well managed and must visit for any photography enthusiast. To visit different spots within, electric shuttles ( no additional charge) are available. Even though good number of shuttles are available, there can be waiting time and a queue if you are visiting on weekends/ holidays. Also be prepared to walk if you want to cover all spots as it is spread over a large area. Food options are available near the entrance. It would require at least 2 hrs of time to visit this place.

Jungle safari and the world-class zoo are just a few days away from the Statue of unity. Soon the top attraction for wildlife lovers and animal lovers will be open. According to the PTI report, the name of this park will be given as a Sardar Patel Zoological Park. Jungle Safari Park Some of the prominent features of this zoo and jungle safari park as follows: It developed across the 1300 acres area in seven levels It includes animals like lions, rhinos, tigers, giraffes, bison, leopards, 12 types of deer and antelopes, zebras, and other exotic animals This park is developed to attract big crowed all over India and the world. It is one of the wishes of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi to develop this land as a major tourism hub. The Central Zoo Authority also permit for the development of this zoo.

I think it was worth the ₹200 entry fees. At the rhino enclosure head over to a small opening at the end and if you're lucky (like I was) you'd get to pet the rhino! For real. The aviaries were also amazing. You have to walk through it with peacocks, storks, pelicans, macaws all unrestricted by cages just walking or flying past you. There was a walkthrough lemur-monkey section too.
