Joy train is a good facility for a people who want to see a whole sayaji bag garden (also known as a kamati Baug).you can enjoy every palaces in garden. Also train passing through Sayaji zoo. In a zoo you can see deer, some monkeys and also other animals. Ticket price :0 to 3 age :free entry 3 to 12 : half ticket 12 to above full ticket (full ticket price is Rs. 50/-) Please noted that : Every Thursday in week train service is off. If any festival on Thursday than train service is open. And next day is off. Also you can enjoy Baroda museum and picture gallery. Also this museum is biggest museum of gujarat. A very good joy ride for all ages, kids enjoy the ride. Though i miss the old train, I still recommend a one time ride... I still feel more exciting things should be added on the way...

Its a great experience for kids to explore the park and it cover almost whole park so after the ride you can decide where to go first. Ticket price is 50 inr per person (adult and kids above 12 years) and 25 inr for kids below 12years of age. For kids up to 2 years train ride is free. Train is bit slow for adult but kids will enjoy for sure.

Wonderful train. Well maintained, safe and good staff managing it. Best season to ride is between November to February. It can also be planned in monsoon. Covers entire Sayaji Baug including some parts of the zoo. Large capacity an good waiting area.

Train service has been stopped since the incident of boat capsizing in Vadodara. When it's going to be resumed, no information is available with the authorities

Joy train is beautiful attraction of Sayajibaug as this run on the length of track 2.5 km. Its engine made by Severn Lamb Company, UK (England).Joy train has 4 Nos. coaches and each coach will be having approx. 36 passenger capacities. The train have music and announcing system inside the train. On both side of bogies there are picture of national/local heroes, wildlife, historical places, religious places and panchtrantra.

Great fun for kids, must be enjoyed once if visiting Kamati Garden!

One ride is of about 10-12 minutes. avoid to come on public holidays and weekend for any children's activities.

One of the finest free to walk place and probably the only well maintained Joy train, I have ever seen before.

Joy train station at sayajibaug is good place by all aspect. I experience polite & co operative staff, nice seating arrangement, cleanliness etc. Its worth to spent on ride of joy train. An enjoyable trip of whole sayaji garden for all age group.
