This is huge lake called gomti talav. it historical place which is connected with lords krishna. Here is one of the famous temple of ranchhod ray. I highly recommend to visit this temple with your family.

Super place. This is the place where Shree Krishna hid in the stairs of gomti talav .it is said that gomti talav was dug by bhim . There is an ancient danknath mahadev temple .on the other side of talav there is mota Hanuman and dattatrya tempal . We can go there through boat .

There is big local market around the lake for shopping of Puja Samagri and metal item for home use. There is a feeding point for fish at Gomati Ghat where devotee can buy and offer food to fish. There are many temples around the Gomti Ghat where devotee can reach by boat ride so children can enjoy boating as well. There are lots of Dharamshalas, Havelis, Bhojanalaya and other complexes to facilitate pilgrims.Devotee believed that the water of Gomati is same like water of River Ganga.

Daily cleaning needed. Also cleaning is needed around the Temple. Overall ok. Boating experience is good. They provide Safety Jacket also

Wonderful experience at Gomti lake which is situated near the most famous Lord Krishna Temple in Dakor. There is local market around the lake and also feeding point for fish.At evening the lake is shining with light and looking awesome.People can also enjoy boating ride..

You can't put a rating on a place that has been a significant part of your childhood. Growing up, when visiting Dakor, the bridge on the Gomti Talav always had a hypnotic effect. If you could travel back in time 10-15 years, you'd see magically lit faces of children like me throwing little balls of flour for the fish while also shooting a few up in the sky for the birds wandering over head. The lake (previously: River) was clean, thriving with life, both underwater and above it. Today, I can't even begin to describe how badly this place has been ruined. If you have ever been to this place and have had the pleasure of experiencing the rather meditative state the process of feeding food to fish provides you will be heart broken to see the plight of it today.
