One of the best place in Anandpur Sahib, the name given to Virasat-e-Khalsa, This place tells us about the culture of Punjab and Sikh history. It depicts the 19th century of Punjab as it was in the earlier century. The inside is very well designed. If you want to know about Punjab then please come here. The history of Punjab has been told very well in this. If you want to tell your children about Sikh history and Punjab, then definitely bring them here because here they will get a lot of information. You can also bring the elderly here. wheelchair and lift facilities have also been provided for the elderly. Yes, there is no ticket to see Virasat-e-Khalsa,But to get the ticket, you must have identity proof and you can get tickets for 10 people in one ticket. if there is a need for parking for the vehicle, then there is a ticket and that too is not much. Also canteen is available on ground floor Timing - 10:00 AM to 4:00PM (MONDAY CLOSED)

The place is awesome. I really loved the surrounding. It's near the gurudwara and has a garden and water resources. You can click pictures and roam around with your family. There is a museum Khalsa-e-virasat I suggest you to visit that museum. It is a must visit place. You will regret a lot if you come back without visiting it.

The place is beyond star rating...a massive place built full of artistic approach at walking distance from Shri Anandpur Sahib Gurdwara. A must visit place to go and see the art and know about historical events from the very beginning. Your trip might be incomplete without visiting this museum named Virasat-e-khalsa

Overall its amazing place and you feel overwhelmed after seeing all the sufferings the people faced during and after 1947 partition. Its also refreshing to see how our people tried to keep themselves strong after all the trauma they faced. We showed the culture of Punjab to our kids through all the beautiful illustrations and visuals. I don’t know what is their motto behind the refusal of use of camera there. I think that our friends and relatives who are non-Indian and can’t visit Punjab can have knowledge about our heritage and culture. We really want them to know and understand our roots as well as to see our beautiful rich culture.

It's a wonderful spot for a family outing, free of entry fees and meticulously maintained with impressive sound and light effects. However, despite these positive aspects, the staff members are consistently impolite and prohibit visitors from taking photos, even when there are no explicit rules against it. If the goal is to showcase Punjabi culture, allowing photography could help capture and share more moments, attracting a wider audience to experience and appreciate the cultural richness of the place.

Not all places are accessible, it's sad. Photography not allowed, even worse. The museum feels very chaotic if no proper time and attention is given. The architecture is very intriguing from the outside, but quite bland and unsophisticated on the inside, though the building serves the best of its built purpose. Free advice : Do not visit on crowded day.

Great effort to carry forward the history of our ancestors to the next generation. Amazing. Marvellous. One must visit there. Timings are 10 am to 4 pm . you have to take pass for entry , by showing your i'd etc. no mobile videography or pics allowed inside the museum . If someone found guilty his mobile phone handed over back by 6 pm. So be careful. But you can take pics outer side without any restrictions. A canteen is there at the ground floor. .@ No extra price . The whole area is Very well mannaged . history of Punjab, shown so beautifully. One must visit .

Virasat-e-Khalsa is amazing! 🏰✨ It's a peaceful and fascinating place with incredible art and history. When I walked into the museum, I was like, "Wow, the craftsmanship is mind-blowing!" It's the best spot to visit for a mix of cool facts and a calm vibe. Just a heads up, photography inside the museum is prohibited. Still, highly recommend! 👏🌟 #MustVisit #VirasatEKhalsa

It is a good architectural monument as well as a museum built in Anandpur sahib, Punjab. It is a place worth visiting with serene views and mind soothing views. Also, a wide range of Sikh culture is visualized in the museum, which offers us a lot to learn about the culture. Overall a very nice place👍 And one more thing- photos are not allowed 🚫.

Everytime i visit this place, i am discovering something new, learning something new, feeling something new. Every new exhibition is something different from the last one. A beauty in its own way. Learning about our history leaves a mark in the mind, feels like a knife in the windpipe from all the sorrows that our ancestors experienced and we all are grateful to them.

A must visit place for all . A extremely well laid out setup . Very informative. Traces the Sikh History from its origin to the present state. The hand painted murals are awesome. Need description of each exhibit giving the details of it . Could be in written form or in audio. Takes almost two hours to go around . Entry is free . Have to pay 1000 and 2000 for external and internal photography. Is definitely on the higher side . The museum sale shop and Cafe are reasonably priced. Overall a amazing experience. 👏

Absolutely fantastic museum dedicated to the KHALSA of Guru Gobind Singh ! Everything about this museum is spectacular and the art displays with light and sound and the entire chronological layout is a testimony to the architect and interior designer... There is no surprise in this museum being the most visited in the whole of South Asia and probably the world... Fantastic experience ! 🙏
