The Indian Business Museum is located in the city of Kozhikode, in the state of Kerala, India. It was open in 2013[1] and is dedicated to showcasing the rich traditions of Indian Business. The museum intends to collect, consolidate, and conserve the rich business history of India. The museum also seeks to inspire and ignite business entrepreneurship among the youth.

The museum is great . It has specimens of about 300 brains of various animals and also of different brain ailments. There are guided tours on Wednesdays and Saturdays and is focused on brain anatomy and the functionality of all brain parts. There is also electron microscope which is non functional. I visited here to know about cognitive processing. But the museum instructor was unable to deliver, probably she was just an assistant . I went on to the physiology department for further clarification.

One of its kind place in the country. Almost every aspect of the brain structure can be studied in this place, be it normal anatomy, evolutionary history, Neoplastic/traumatic/infectious pathologies, normal and abnormal histological slides and many more. All of it comes with the supplement of amazing technology.💥😃 Photography of individual specimens in the racks showing pathologies is prohibited

As name says, it has collection of brains- mainly human but some animals too. Brains in different statges of health and decay and deceased are displayed well. You can even touch a sample. There are pther body organs, fetus (my favourite!) and skeleton too. To the extent this can be interesting it is really well displayed. Free guided tour is available at 10am, 11:30am, and 2:30pm on Saturday and 2:30pm on Wednesday. Museum is open 10:30-12:30 and 2:30-4:30 Saturday and 2:30-4:30 Wednesday. Tour is brief (30 min) and starts dot on time. No need to register in advance. Kids and adults alike can spend an hour here. Search for NIMHANA Brain Museum on Google Maps and follow direction, private free parking is available, ask for direction to Museum to locate the room. Bonus: an specimen of electron microscopy is also displayed.
