The
Church
is
around
the
theme
of
Assumption
of
Mother
Mary.
Seems
the
architecture
resembles
the
coronation
of
Mother
Mary.
But
I
am
not
sure
about
it.
It
is
a
very
nicely
built
Church
having
grotto
of
Mary
of
Lourdes
at
the
entrance.
The
cemetery
of
Bishop
Soundararaju
is
beautifully
maintained.
There
is
a
cemetery
for
priests
as
well
near
the
main
entrance
gate.The
stained
glass
windows
on
the
ground
floor
have
images
of
all
20
mysteries
of
the
rosary
so
there
are
20
windows
(5
each
for
Glorious,
Sorrowful,
Luminous,
and
Joyful)
that
have
them.
The
upper
floor
windows
have
new
and
old
testament
contrasts
and
similarities
depicted.
Not
easy
to
understand
the
things
written
in
Tamil
but
common
Christian
themes
as
is
seen
in
most
Churches
was
decipherable.
There
are
beautiful
flowers
(Thorn
of
Christ,
Alamanda
&
Blue
Morning
Glory
being
prominent)
and
trees
(big
Banyan)
in
the
Church
compound.
The
Church
offers
masses
only
in
Tamil
and
is
walkable
from
the
bus
stop
at
the
Round
Turn.
