We enjoyed our stay. It is a beautiful resort and the gardens are stunning. Couldn't fault the rooms but the breakfast was a let down. The staff seem to be trying and are helpful on the whole but there is a real lack of experience and effort or understanding of hospitality. The following might explain why. Whilst waiting to pay our bill on leaving one of the owners (wife) came out of the office clearly angry. She found a staff member who was seated and started leaning over her having a go at her about not doing her job properly. The staffer protested that she hadn't done it wrong only to be put down in no uncertain terms. The staff member stormed off saying "you talk to me like I'm stupid". The owner went back to the office and minutes later was poking her head out barking orders at staff behind the reception counter. It felt like a culture of fear pervades the staff when you see it first hand. Advice for the owner lady: if you don't like being hospitable perhaps don't work in the hospitality industry or find a way to stay out the back. This experience completely ruined our experience and tainted the whole stay even though it happened at the end of it.

This resort really exceeded our expectations that we are already planning our next trip back for 2024. We checked in late after 10pm and the staff made it so quick and easy considering we were tired from our flight and drive. The staff boys took our bags straight away to our rooms and gave us good info about the resort. Rooms are spacious and well decorated. Awesome water pressure. We had 2 ocean front villas which was so nice to watch the sunset. 107 villa doesn't have the greatest air con unfortunately but our other room was awesome! Heaps of water activities for the kids and adults. Heaps of kayaks, snorkel gear to get out in the water to explore or just swim. Breakfast was pretty good too, good selection each day and they changed up the menu. Restaurant for lunch and dinner is a little pricey with limited options but down the road you have $10 BBQs that are a huge hit and fresh fruit to buy at local road side stalls that are cheap also snacks to get at the local shops down the road too. Pool was clean and has a swim up bar. Overall the grounds were clean and well kept. Would definitely recommend this place. Staff were always so friendly and happy to help! Excited to come back next year!

The resort is stunning, sitting on a hilly coconut plantation, beautifully built all the rooms are immerse in nature. It really feel like you found paradise on earth! The amenities are all well maintained and accessible all the time with no limitations on hours which we really appreciated. Nice main pool, kids pool nicely made and perfect even for the small kids. The beach is right there and beautifully cleaned and maintained. What I do not appreciated too much is the restaurants, nothing outstanding and the service is average. Breakfast was nice instead with a lot of choice, different everyday maybe the best breakfast offered by the many resorts we stayed at.

We loved our stay! Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help us during our stay. We had absolutely no issues with the service as some other reviews seem to suggest. Rooms very clean, modern and comfortable with beautiful views - We actually felt like the photos we saw online didn't do justice to what it looked like in reality! Decent array of options for food and drinks and all reasonably priced too. We would love to visit again!

A very good beach and excellent snorkelling. Really good grounds and wow staff. Pretty kiwi breakfast (I mainly ate baked beans on toast). Can’t really fault it I suppose, if I would it was that we hired a scoter and they need to invest more in those and get helmets that work.

Loved our stay here ❤️ absolutely beautiful and peaceful !I wish i stayed longer..stayed 2 nights in the beachfront villa, the view from my bed was soo good i had to pinch myself to check im not dreaming !haha food at the restaurant was ok, breakfast buffet was nice ..only thing I would nit pick at is the bar drink options were quite limited...could do with more cocktails on the menu 😅 yes it is far from the city but totally worth it . definitely my potential wedding venue in the future❤

I really enjoyed my stay at Saletonga Sands so much so that we booked for an extra night as we had initially only booked for one night. The service from the staff was fantastic, they were friendly and I observed a great team culture. Staff seemed to love their jobs and do it very well. My husband and I stayed here with our 2 children and it’s family friendly, there is a lot to do. The rooms were spacious and beautiful. The bed was comfortable and my children spelt in a separate room which was nice. The bathroom was nice and clean. The restaurant food was good, really enjoyed the complimentary buffet breakfast, they provided a great selection of food. They provide free hire of snorkels and paddle boards. My 4 year old enjoyed in the inflatable pool and the kids playground. Would definitely recommend and will be back again next time.

Where do I start, the moment I arrived staff greeted me reception well presented near and tidy. The food and drinks omg! So worth it different days of food menu and don’t get me started on the buffet breakfast divine. Island night show excellent performance to top the night don’t forget to tip in the bowl. Access to beach 🏝️ location and kids and adult pool. 10/10 and I’ll definitely be back big massive thank you to the staff and team for the superb hospitality made my trip extra special. Faafetai lava
