Great value for money and fantastic, kind service - it isn't like a resort so don't expect the royal treatment, but that's not what you come here for. Instead, you get genuinely kind, local people working there and a much better sense of what Samoa is like than just being in a big fancy resort. Everything is on island time so don't expect fast food or people rushing around for you - they will 100% help you and are so kind and generous, it's just part of the Samoan experience for it to be super chill :) Both breakfast and dinner are included and the food is great and plentiful, but fruit/veg and complex carbs are often lacking. Meals are family style at a big table, so we met some lovely people there which added a lot to our trip. The air con in the rooms works super well and made a big difference to comfort because it helps you feel like your skin is dry, otherwise you're sticky from humidity all the time! There is also a little shop with cheaper bottled water, towels, and other basics just 5mins' walk down the road if you face the beach and walk left. The beach is INCREDIBLE, possibly the best beach I've ever been to. Warm, clear water at your doorstep, the most stunning views. Overall we really loved this place and for friendliness, value for money, and location it was spectacular.

Stayed here with my family after spending a bit of time in resorts in Apia and this exceeded our expectations. Firstly the location is stunning! While the accommodation is modest (which you expect in a beach fale) we were incredibly comfortable and felt right at home. The hosts were generous and friendly and the food was magical. If you’re a vegetarian like me, please make sure you let them know when you arrive. Like many places in Samoa, the catering doesn’t typically do well for a vegetarian diet but the hosts are very willing to get something sorted. Breakfasts were much more vegetarian friendly but I most definitely didn’t go hungry at dinner.

Had a great stay at Taufua Beach Fales. The shared breakfast and dinner was a great way to get to know other guests and have a good laugh. The fiafia performance on the Wednesday night was a highlight - these local guys and gals put on a Stella show! The beach and location were spot on - really enjoyable stay!

We stayed for 3 nights at Taufua in one of the closed beach fales right on the beach. The rooms are very much no frills just a bed mosquito net and a fan. We had two power points to charge phones etc, and a lockable door which was handy because we could leave our luggage there during the day. The location was 10/10! The beach was so nice and we swam every day. The family running the place were so kind and accommodating and the food was great! Awezome place to stay for an authentic experience. Would definitely come and stay again.

We spent 9 days here and loved it. The beach is stunning, the staff were very helpful and the food was great. They were very accommodating of vegan and nut allergy dietary requirements. We would highly recommend visiting Namua island whilst staying here to see lots of turtles, the staff at the hotel helped us organise a taxi here and back. Overall we would highly recommend!!

Very beautiful accommodation right by the beach. Beach is awesome, very clean a nice for snorkeling. The food was delicious, even if we were waiting for it a little longer but definitely worth waiting. Very nice staff and relaxing place to stay. Definitely recommend.

Great staff were very friendly and helpful. Great service provided by all. We loved the location and open Fale for our family. This was just right. Thank you for hosting us for the night, we loved our stay and will definitely be back again.

Taurus Beach Fales is a must in Samoa! We loved this place. Located right on the most beautiful beach, and the people could not have been more welcoming. Thank you for making our experience unforgettable!
