Delicious dumplings and mushroom soup in a bread plate. Dishes are brought out quickly. The interior is decorated in the national Polish style. The prices are normal. Of the minuses: no wifi and a small list of drinks.

Fuss free dining experience with really nice interiors. It’s beautiful! We went to the newly opened one which is about 100 meters away for my this one but I wasn’t able to find it on maps hence I am leaving the review here. That one is more spacious. We tried the mushroom soup in bread bowl, beetroot soup, and dumplings. Everything was nice!

This place was great! Perfect polish vibe/atmosphere and delicious pierogi dumplings. Such unique flavors too and great quality. Also, price was so reasonable. I highly recommend this….better then any “chain restaurant” and the service was fast.

Lovely place with great pirogi! Yesterday we had a superb dinner here. Anna, the service girl, was very helpful and recommended us 2 types of pirogi. Additionally I had the Bigos. Everything was delicious, hot and filling. Thank you

Not a bad option if you’re craving some traditional style pierogis while in Poland. This shop just off the main town square in Krakow had just about every flavor you could want, some savory and some sweet. We ordered 2 traditional flavors and one more sweet. They were all delicious and just as I remembered them. There’s nothing fancy about these as they’re more of how your grandma would make them but they do satisfy a craving if you’re looking for pierogis while in Poland.

Very good food. My picky children ate most of it. It was our first pierogis ever and I maybe had hyped it up so much in my head that it was a little disappointing. However, the hunters stew in the bread bowl was amazing! I preferred that to the pierogis we got - the duck with apples (served on the side) one with bacon, and some cherry dessert pierogis which were very tart. The ambiance was adorably quaint. The waitress spoke English and was kind and helpful. It was a bit on the pricey side - $10 for a plate. I think we spent around $60 for drinks and 3 plates of pierogis and a bread bowl, so overall an expensive meal even compared to back home, but a fun experience nonetheless.

It's the place to try the Polish dumplings. there are many choices. There are 3 sizes, 9 pcs = L, 12 pcs = XL, 16 pcs = XXL. Love the cute Polish decorations style in the shop. It's self service.

Cosy, filling and cheap self-service restaurant. The menu is quite big and once you've chosen, you order at the till. Portions are generous. We had the bread-bowl soup and 2 different types of dumplings. We were full by the end! Have at least 2 different dumpling types and share. In total it cost us £20, including a beer.

So tasty. A little pricey for Krakow but it’s in the center of old town and the vibe is really cool! I loved the pierogies. We got the top 3 options, because it was too difficult to choose I figured that would be safe. No regrets! It’s pretty fast paced in their. I wouldn’t say the staff was overly nice or anything but they were efficient and worked hard so much respect to them for being there and feeding everyone!

Amazing pierogi especially the apple and cinnamon ones with the sweet cream. We loved the food so much we can back the next day and ordered different dishes. The bigos and żurek were arguably even better than the pierogi we had the night before. You must try the beer as well if you come (go for the large glass you won’t regret it) ! Beautiful decor and old polish style food! Completely fuss free dining and the staff were lovely accommodating for both polish and English speaking customers, can only fault the restaurant being so small and they deserve more customers with food and service like this. Will definitely come back next time we’re in the area!

Delicious dumplings and an old-timey atmosphere. Three prices are not so cheap, but it's definitely worth a visit. Definitely try the duck with apples and mozzarella with dried tomatoes!

Very good quality/price dumplings! We ordered 3 types of dumplings + 1 soup for 2 persons and it was a lot! Very good ambiance, traditional. We tried the vegetarian dumplings and our favorite are the ones with mozzarella and dried tomatoes!

Delicious, I liked it. The pies are large and enough for 8 pieces to eat. One of the most delicious bigos. Nice atmosphere but expensive. For 2 portions of pies, bigos and lemonade - about PLN 140.

Self service bare minimum eatery. Pretty much run by one staff member - who forgets to offer bread with soup, unable to suggest what extras a tourist should add when they order a dish..... Tasted like frozen dumplings microwaved. Given our experience, wonder how could they be rated this high in Google! Fishy!

Nice lady at the desk. Have to order at the desk. Interesting tables. Outside and indoor sitting. Really nice street close to the main square. I got a mix and it was good. If they had hot sauce that would be nice. Didn't use their restroom. Don't think they had wifi.

Delicious flavors, great variety of traditional Polish food and service with a smile! You order at the cashier and she brings it to your table. 😍 The cranberry currant sauce was heavenly!

The food here was outstanding. It came very quickly, the service was fast and efficient. The decor in the restaurant is beautiful and the waitresses are dressed in traditional outfits. I would definitely recommend if you want somewhere that serves traditional food.

Great traditional and authentic Polish pierogarnia! Lovely, homey and cozy rural decor and ambience. Tasteful pierogies and the service was both phenomenal and fun. In Krakow I’d recommend the cranberry & black currant sauce to go with the pierogies as it’s a local variant. Overall you feel like you dine in a little local rural restaurant on the country side of Poland with just as cozy and fitting music in the background. Great experience! Happy I was recommended this place by my also Polish colleague. The prices and sizes of the dishes were nice as well.

A charming experience! Pierogies...like a plate of hugs on a cold night. Duck pierogies and cabbage rolls shared. We also tried the dipping sauces...garlic sauce with the cabbage rolls, sour cream and cranberry/black current with the duck. I would order bowls of sauce and eat them with a spoon! Flavors all around were fabulous! The meat fillings tasted great, but lacked texture; it was almost like baby food. Have since had other pierogies with the same texture, so I suppose that is how they are done. I do want to go back and eat again before we leave!

One of the tastiest pierogi in Krakow. Nice interior, clean and delicious food.

Very delicious and original polish! Very good prices and you can pay with card. Minus one star because of the poor service...

Genuinely the best Pierogi I’ve ever had in my entire life. It was life changing. I cannot recommend this place enough. Our favourites were the Ruskie and Chlopskie. Currently ordering the dessert ones. I love you Pierogarnia Krakowiacy, I will be back.

Well this is a very polish restaurant ! Very nice. The self service system is a little different from our french habits so I had to adapt, but the cooking was excellent, and the place beautiful and intimate.

The food was okey. We wanted to eat the soup inside the bread. Otherwise we would go somewhere else. You can try if you don’t have any choice, because many traditional cuisines close early.

Super sweet place (was recommended to us), super nice atmosphere, very friendly staff, best pierogis in town (they are very well filled!). Also tried the Golabki rolls (outstanding taste!) and the Bigos (super cool, could have been a little saucier). Must try (we went there twice). Must know: self service (but that‘s no problem at all)

Good location, beautiful restaurant, fast service and friendly staff. However the dumplings didn’t reach my expectation so I can’t give 5 stars. I have had Polish dumplings before and they were much better than this. The vegetarian/vegan dumplings here are better than the one with meat imo!

Staff was extremely friendly and happy to speak English! Everything inside makes you feel like you are in a traditional polish place. I only tried pierogi and both times it was excellent with good prices!

Best pierogy in the whole Kraków. Every time I'm in the town I visit this place. Nice and friendly staff, great beer with sirup and many options to choose from. Vegan friendly! Also I love the folklore interior very much.

The lady was nice, the Pierogies were very good, got the 12 pack and couldn't finish since they were so filing :) Very cheap and the decor is very cute

Overall, Pierogarnia Krakowiacy is a good, little Polish dumpling restaurant. The name "self service" means that you pick up your own plate when it is ready - it is not buffet-style. The pierogi I had were good, and you can mix and match two flavors in an order of 8, 10, or 12 pierogi. You can also get soups and some small dishes. Interesting drinks like kompot and beer. Prices are average, on the lower end. Service was really kind. :) they also offer takeaway. The only downside is that the bathrooms in this place are awful. They are dirty, lacking the essential, and even the door is not proper—it stays open and you can be seen by anyone from the outside. Make sure you go before coming here!
