Fantastic place, delicious food, the possibility of using rooms in a very good standard, very clean, excellent location with lots of trails to the nearby peaks, wonderful views from the rooms and breathtaking from the tops, very hospitable hosts, we will definitely come back here.

I just have special liking for this area... And love to visit this restron as often as I can and enjoy the traditional hospitality of bosnian people, the owner "sameen" makes you feel very welcoming and provides deliciously home prepared food. Must visit...

Found this place by accident while I was in the area and was looking for a place to have lunch. The place might be "closed" when you get there, but it is not. The owner lives in the same building and you can just call him or ring the door bell and he will open the place. The owner is extremely nice, first of all he opened the place just for me. I also had a great chat with him about everything and he gave some good recommendations about the area and what to do and what to see. And the food, oh boy! I had some local Bosnian "ravioli", it was really good and affordable. They also have homemade juices available and sell local goods like honey and really rare dried herbs I can highly recommend this place and will be back!

We had a delicious meal of locally prepared food, warm service and great conversation. We learned about the local sights and many of the herbs that were picked and sold by the family that owns the restaurant. Honey from their hives was also available. We felt like favored guests at the kitchen table. At one point our host excused himself from our conversation to help find a wayward chicken that had wandered off. :)

Very good location, wonderful and quiet neighborhood. The owner was very nice, he gave me a lot of interesting information about the village and the surrounding area. Delicious homemade food :). Rooms very clean and pleasant. I would recommend to anyone wishing to stay in this area !!!

Excellent location with excellent hosts. We stayed in one of the guest rooms for 3 nights/4 days and ate at the restaurant daily. Much better option if wanting to explore the surrounding areas instead of only staying at the ski resort (15/20ish min drive). We actually ended up spending the least amount of time at Bjelašnica and most of our time hiking and walking around beautiful Šabići and Rakitnica. Definitely planning another trip again when the weather warms up. Homemade meals, teas, coffees, jams, and juices were outstanding, felt like visiting family. Thank you for having us 🥰 PS: buy some dried hand-picked teas to take home, they also sell seasonal homemade items. 10/10! Updated review: we went back about a year later and had the exact same perfect experience. Highly highly recommend this family run hotel and restaurant!

I was the only client at lunch in a cloudy weekday in early September, the lady opened the restaurant jist for me, helped with translation with her daughter, gave me a kind of Bosnian ravioli, which were excellent, and also I bought a bottle of homemade fruit juice, amazing. Absolutely recommended.

The most amazing and tastiest food we had in 9 days going all around Bosnia. Semin is a fantastic host with a great command of English and he will share interesting stories about food and mountain life. His mother makes true earthy home made food with local ingredients. It’s really hard to choose a favorite.. we sampled as many dishes as we could and loved it so much we return two days in a row. Can’t wait to be back to try more. Ravioli, polenta, pancakes and buckwheat fritters, goulash, the cheese, the rose hip jam… seriously it’s difficult if not impossible to choose a favorite! My advice is sending a WhatsApp message to the number in the contacts to book and agree with Semin if there are specific dishes you want to try! Ps: it’s insanely cheap for the quality of the food!

I went in for food while out cycling and ended up staying the night. They also have rooms upstairs with bathrooms. Very nice folks. The uncle and the aunt. Allahemanet

It's a great restaurant and place to stay. The owners are nice and welcoming. We had a long conversation with him. The food is very good as well as the prices (in the range from 5-12 KM). It was nice to stay for the night in this beautiful area. We will come here again. Cheers Fabian

WOW!!! Most amazing breakfast / lunch of our whole trip. The friendly son also offered to drive food to us in the evening when we had cycled to a remote mountain village - so incredibly kind! Loads of delicious homemade juices and very good Bosnian coffee. Fantastic meat ravioli, and we LOVED the dough fritters served with fresh clotted cream, jam and cheese. We are planning our next holiday to Bosnia just so we can come back here.

Danas smo prvi put imali priliku rucati u Restoranu Sabici i bili smo odusevljeni. Hrana je bila fenomenalna, kao i usluga. Imali smo krumpirusu koja je bila top, domace sireve, domaci paradajz i luk, sokove od borovnice i drenjka, te domace kiselo mlijeko. Veliko hvala cijeloj obitelji ❤️.

Pyszne domowe jedzenie robione na świeżo. Oprócz jedzenia serwują robione przez nich soki czy dżemy. Prowadzą również sprzedaż swoich przetworów- soki, dżemy, miody czy syropy. Świetny właściciel, który zna angielski, więc miło było porozmawiać :) zdecydowanie miejsce warte odwiedzin :)

Delicious local food also for vegetarians after amazing trip to Bjelasnica. You can eat outside or inside. Very friendly and helpful owner. Dogs are welcome as he is a dog lover. We would taste more, if the portions were smaller ;-)
