After Vilnius this is the second busiest airport in Lithuania. 13.9 km away from kaunas city center. Kaunas airport operates domestic flights in Europe. Its not a huge airport but it’s Neat and clean. And all type of facilities are available here Even Covid-19 test also are available here. Few bus companies operating airport service which are connecting with flights for different destinations.

Very small airport, looks and feels like a regional instead of international, but very clean and well-maintained. Check-in and security were a breeze, there were more shops/snacks than I expected, and everything was well-managed and on time.

What can I really say? The guys that check passports were very rude, if you are at the end of the queue and were told to go to the EU citizens sector but you are non EU the guy will look at your passport , your face then tell you ‘ go to all passports’ - like what is the deal?! Also if you bring a partner/child/parent with you be prepared to be told ‘ one person at once ‘ :) enjoy .

As you probably have to expect, terribly poor service. Security area is small but OK... Coffee shops lack china coffee cups, only paper, but they aren't shy of charging extortionate prices I haven't seen anywhere in Europe, above €4. Food selection is terrible. It just baffles you, why is the some company's greed allowed to tarnish the reputation of small country...

It's a really good airport, it's small, but convenient, you don't need to walk for miles to the gates 🙂 recently renovated, has some shops, cafes, and after security in the waiting area there's even two separate smoking areas - one for regular cigarettes, and another is Iqos lounge (similar as in Vilnius airport), where you can smoke iqos and also charge your devices 🙂

Small airport Nd. Clean but food selection wad terrible. And at 7. 50EU for a hot sandwich was poor. Had a sausage roll. For 4EU which they threw in the microwave made the bread warm but the sausage remained cold. Just a bit pants really. No apology. My advice is buy a desraine at the arrivals shop. They don't sell them inside and is the best food in the airport! Booze is cheaper in asda.

Sorry but I have to say shame on you. Like a buyer we have no write to give back or change the produkt 10 minm after we bought fragrance. Not unpacked and in ten min with the receive. Dont trust the seller.

Staff is always rude and smarmy. The whole place feels awful. They denied me boarding in October because I had the wrong kind of Covid testing. My sports team gives me testing and turns out that I needed a letter from the government in Kaunas Airport. We could have came to an agreement but they kicked me out of the boarding zone immediately. I was calm and civil. No decency or common courtesy. I hope my words reach the woman at the boarding gates. She was in her mid 30s, on the 16th of October. She made rude remarks to her colleague about me having a sportsperson status and then she denied me boarding. I missed a major career event and lost a lot of money for stagnating in Kaunas and booking new travel. I filed a complaint with the Airport on the same day and they sent me a useless email without any help either. Seems like an awful place. I would avoid any travel through Kaunas Airport.

Extraordinaire Clean and 1€ only by bus from Downtown with bus29G. From central bus terminal . By the way, Mr Jo's hostel IS 100 Meters from bus terminal in Kaunas , for 14€/night in dormitory.

Fast free, easy-to-connected to wifi. Small airport but enough shops, cafes and souvenirs. I have found both security and passport control people here to be very friendly and nice to foreigners in comparison to other places in Lithuania.

Staff at the gates are so rude! Lady with long ginger hair should not be even working with people, I asked for her name as her service was so unprofessional but she could not tell me because it is confidential 😂 well her colleague's name is Paulina, who was also very unprofessional and rude. Kaunas airport management should do a regular check ups as evening staff left without a supervision do whatever they like in a completely unacceptable way.

Nice and small airport. Everything you.need is here, prices are reasonable and staff friendly. Ladies toilets are very smelly tho!

Really nice, small, cosy airport! Fast security, fast everything. Never busy, quite clean, great atmosphere, modern looking.

There was rather slow passport control. The custom officer who was checking our passports was impolite because he neither greeted us nor said goodbye. There is no option to go through a faster track if you are more than 12 years old. Inside of the airport one of the escalators downstairs did not work, so we could use it only for going upstairs. The construction of doors inside of female's toilets is not properly done because when you open the door to get out, it collides with the washbasin, so you may even bump into someone who is washing one's hands. Nevertheless, there is a stylish Volkswagen Taigo R-line model right in the centre of the hall at the airport. Coffee at the vending machines is disgusting. However, you may get more delicious coffee for a bit more money at Narvesen kiosk.

Small airport. Not busy and not a lot of people. Not so many shops with rather high prices. Love cosy atmosphere. Nice food at the Asian restaurant.

Small airport but possible it is OK for the number of flights it serves. There are no water refill taps or at least I didn't find any.

Very small airport, simply go through and out.... On good side it's quick WOW... Manami restaurant is now serving on the first floor waiting area for non-EU flights

Worst airport I've ever been to. Slow baggage check-in (tape didn't work), unhurried security check. The queue for passport control lasted almost an hour, I almost missed my flight, although I arrived at the airport two hours before departure (flight from Kaunas to Burgas).

Well its pretty small, two stars because of the " so called tax free store" it might be tax free.. but if you double the prices whats the point with no tax.. anyways better buy your alcohol when you come home, the difference will not be that big, and then your not supporting that store

It's small, and quick. But the reason for the two stars is the toilet it was a complete disaster, it was like no one ever cleaned it. If they fix this it'll be a good airport

A nice small airport. It is very clean and easy to find the way. It have a few duty freeshops as well as a smoking lounge. Everything here is quick and the ways to walk as short. All in all a nice airport.

Small airport accessed by registering with Bolt (simian to Uber) for €10 from city centre. Limited variety of cigarettes- bought 200 red Rothmans for €37.50 though the blue variety were €20 more. Winston blue loose tobacco was €25.50 for 140g and the only available variety. Good variety of alcohol but not a lot of savings with duty paid. Smoking area while waiting for flight. Bar €5.20 a pint!

Really overcrowded airport. Especially when flights times are close to each other. I recommended spending as much time as possible outside gate area.

Small airport with insifucient information. When we arrived to airport we had online check in but it was impossible to get through the security check because nobody worked there and nobody could explain why...

Relatively calm in comparison with its larger counterparts. Good parking for dropping off and collection. Polite and civilized staff in all roles. A good choice of airport for people in the region, including Eastern Poland.

Nice, small and comfortable airport. More seats are needed on the 2nd floor, too many people in such a small hall. The rest is ok:)

Small and simple. Don't expect there to be many shops as the entire building is as small as many regional airports. It does however have all the usual amenities like toilets, baggage check, travel help and small restaurants before + after security check. You'll also likely never get lost as there isn't anywhere to go other than towards the few gates there.

Nice, modern airport. Not busy and easy to navigate around. Service was friendly. Very family friendly, we were escorted to the front as we had a young family. First time I've flown here and much prefer to the Capital. Just don't rent a car from Panek, we did and it was a shambles. We flew after the storm in the UK on Friday, arrived safely after 3 hour delay, but Panek cancelled our booking then tried to charge me €100 a day for another car. Trust Pilot reviews are shocking, so please avoid. Duty free was great and wife found Tom Ford perfume she couldn't get London Times of flights were good too

New and clean airport. Easy to find your way, and public transport is just outside to the left. 1 euro to get to the city center.

Staff is either on their phones texting to someone, being impolite ( no hello, thanks, welcome) or rude. Not a first time I see people working there with authority issues. Today my bag was “too large “ based on airport staff “eye measurements “ and she was about to fine me 80€ . It’s not a first time I see staff acting like gestapo when it comes to boarding a plane and fining anyone. They are over abusing the tiny authority given in connection to their minimum salary.

Small airport but is smooth to travel from, there’s always citybees outside so you can get to town for 10 euros comfortably. There’s a good bus connection as well. Security check doesn’t take long and boarding goes smooth in my opinion.

Not that big but, have cool places to relax while waiting to take off

Small but nice airport. My in laws live 10 minutes away so I get to use it alot and the best thing about it is that you can smoke after check in, after immigration checks as well like literally before you get on the plane.
