The atmosphere of old Warsaw, great view of the center and from above the bridge and Prague. Beautiful building of the museum and the Chopin Institute.

I came to Warsaw to ul. Tamka 43 especially much earlier and I stood in a 30-person queue in the cold to buy tickets for an additional concert of the winner of the 18th International Piano Competition. Fryderyk Chopin - Bruce Liu. Tickets were also to be sold online, but from 12:00. The Institute's box office opened at 11:00, so for those who showed up persistently, there was a great chance to buy tickets for their dream concert. It is known that buying tickets online for a crowded concert is a lottery. At 11:00 we were allowed inside where the cash registers are and we all stood and waited for the sales to start. When I asked the young cashier why tickets were not sold, I heard the answer that sales start at 12:00! I said then that a lot of people standing in line had no chance to buy tickets. The young man confirmed that I was right and he knows that tickets sold simultaneously at the same time on the Internet will sell out in a few minutes, but he has no influence on it because it depends on "the top". I asked him to call the management and start the sale earlier, but he said he wouldn't. will do. The young cashier also did not provide me with the telephone number of the people responsible for this. The sale started just before 12:00 and, as I expected, the tickets sold simultaneously online ended after 7 minutes, even though there were over several hundred of them. The second half of the queue left unscathed despite waiting for over an hour and a half, first in the cold and then crowding in front of the cash registers. To put it mildly, I felt like a balloon. Especially since older people who came specifically to buy tickets directly at the box office were ignored because not everyone has fast internet and a knack for surfing. Thus, a large part of the people who came were ignored. To be clear, my one star does not apply to the exhibition at the Institute. It's about disregarding the time and sacrifice of people like me who have been left to the wind.

Terrible service. We wanted to buy tickets to a concert and the person behind the desk ignored us for 15 minutes pretending to do something for a tour operator who was trying to sort out her large block of tickets with her boss on the phone. We tried to get her attention in English and Polish as she stood there doing nothing, but she refused to engage us.

All students can look around by just paying 8€ and taste well all of them while listening chopin works.you can also watch the principal work on display and the piano that he and his familly actually would used 200 years ago. Great chopin world is here despite of the exterior of the Natinal institute of Frederic Chopin.

Great people, wonderful atmosphere and comprehensive activities in the field of disseminating F. Chopin's legacy both in Poland and around the world. I especially recommend the "Chopin and his Europe" festival :)

A beautiful place located in the atmospheric Powiśle, in a beautiful palace with a very modern museum. Glass stairs, suspended glass half-floors, everywhere you can listen to Chopin's music with headphones. The concert hall, the Chopin family history room, the history of Poland in Chopin's times and the fireplace room. Music lovers should set aside a lot of time for this trip. It's hard to break up...

It has always been a dream to go to the Frederic Chopin museum and it didn't disappoint. A beautiful museum with Chopin's personal items and a lovely free concert.
