took
a
day
trip
from
prague
to
kutna
hora
and
v
ruthardce
was
the
highest
rated
restaurant
so
we
decided
to
eat
lunch
here.
for
the
expectations
set
by
reviews,
we
were
unfortunately
underwhelmed.
the
restaurant
is
in
the
main
town
area.
there
is
indoor
seating
and
a
nice
outdoor
patio
seating
area.
service
was
alright,
not
the
friendliest
and
was
pretty
slow.
they
charged
us
40czk/2
euros
for
ketchup
which
seems
a
little
crazy
just
to
dip
french
fries
in.
they
also
charged
for
tap
water
which
we
didn't
ask
for.
//
duck
confit
with
potato
dumplings,
red
cabbage
with
cranberries
and
red
wine
(255czk)
//
the
duck,
cabbage,
and
potato
dumplings
had
good
flavors--we
liked
that
it
was
less
sweet
than
other
places
we've
tried
it
(sometimes
the
cabbage
or
duck
sauce
is
too
sweet).
however,
the
duck
was
not
as
moist/tender
and
on
the
dry
side.
//
pulled
pork
burger
with
fermented
red
onion
and
mustard
dressing,
farmer's
fries
(205czk)
//
i
decided
to
try
the
pulled
pork
burger
since
i
wanted
a
break
from
czech
cuisine.
the
burger
was
large
and
came
with
a
generous
side
of
french
fries.
the
mustard
was
a
nice
touch
since
i
am
used
to
bbq
sauce.
good
portion
of
pork
too.
the
bun
however
was
quite
thick
and
felt
slightly
greasy.
overall,
the
food
was
good;
however,
given
the
raving
reviews
i
wouldn't
say
it's
anything
special
and
the
service
was
just
okay.
prices
seem
high
for
kutna
hora
but
lower
than
prague,
and
it
was
still
a
bit
questionable
that
they
charged
so
much
for
ketchup.
