Delicious food. Huge portions. Good value. Best honey wine (hot and cold available). The ribs were so saucy and tasty. Atmosphere is cosy and inviting feels like I was dining like a Viking. Staff spoke English, good for tourists wanting good traditional Czech food. LOVED this place

Everything iss perfect about this place. The beautiful ambience was the main reason to choose this restaurant. They welcomed us with a big smile. Food was simple but beautifully presented as well as tasted amazing.

Very nice crew, they all spoke English, smiling, polite, helpful, friendly. The food was Very fresh, tasty, visually well made. The fries are INSANE :) real potatoes, so crunchy, so full of flavour. The restaurant has very nice garden to eat outside, very comfortable also with kids. Totally fair prices.

In the beautiful medieval center of Kutná Hora you'll find this cosy restaurant with a beautiful garden and a view on the Saint Barbora cathedral. The choice of food is typical Czech with a touch of international kitchen. The quality is great! And the price surprisingly average. We are enjoying this place already for the second time and don't regret it. The staff is friendly and..... fast! In a full loaded place we had our drinks in minutes and the food in 15 minutes. Very well organized. The beer, classic Urquell, so good. This place is a must go. But please reserve in advance. Last time we were lucky. This time we reserved and we're happy to do so. It was again loaded, which proves it's quality. Very, very recommended (unfortunately I can't give 6 stars)

in a conservatory or in a beautiful garden, menu offers variety of traditional Czech meals as well as healthier meals eg fish, vegetarian meals, deserts and soups. Waiters are professional and friendly and the prices are good. Definitely a must when visiting Kutná Hora.

The food was great, ambiance and location was good. High quality service and decent pricing. Enjoyed my food. But it’s mostly full and crowded. You might have to wait few minutes for your table. And may be few more minutes for your order to come to your table. We have to wait long for the food and we started starving but when the food came it was simply wonderful.

My friends and I decided to try this restaurant on a Sunday when visiting the beautiful city of Kutna Hora. The many positive reviews caught our attention and decided to give it a try. We arrived at lunch time and the place was super crowded. At the beginning we didn't feel welcomed since waiters were looking at us a bit weirdly, but then they walked us to our table. We preferred sitting outside since it was a nice day and this beautiful little court with a fish pond and trees around us made our staying very pleasant. The place is beautiful, there are many rooms and locations both in the inside and outside so you can choose what you like the most. We waited for almost one hour to get our food served and about 40 minutes to get drinks (I understand if the place is that crowded). The drinks were good, we had lemonades and beers, however sometimes after asking us if we wanted our drinks refilled, they forgot about it so we had to ask for it multiple times. As starter we had an asparagus soup that was super delicious with bread crumbs on top. As main course I tried the stewed pork with some potato/bread slices. I wouldn't say it was bad tasting but honestly it wasn't my favourite. The menu is plenty of typical Czech food and the best dishes are with meat. There are also some vegetarian options. I would recommend it as the food is good and the place is beautiful. In my opinion a bit overrated but definitely worth trying. The price was average (400 czk, about 15/16 euros) for a lemonade, soup and main course. Hope you'll find it useful! Enjoy:)

Our knack for spontaneous restaurant visits has once again done a thankful job. Tank beer is always great anyway, but the food was also superb and the price-performance ratio unbeatable. A very nice restaurant in a beautiful location, very cozy and with friendly service. We would go back to Kutná Hora just for this!

Wonderful atmosphere with friendly staff and good food. They squeezed me in even though they were busy. A great place on a cold day.

If you are visiting the Sedlec Ossuary, this is a great pitstop for a recharge! The chef special honey ribs are heavenly and it is a must have. Portion is huge and the meat is so tender that it just breaks away from the rib bone! The roast beef and pudding is very tasty! Great place! Highly recommended!

This place is amazing. The staff is also amazing. The food exceded my expectations. The pork shoulder and mashed potatoes hit the spot on a cold day. The beer just as good too. If you have a large party be sure to make a reservation. It's 100% worth coming here. Even the locals recommend it. It truly made my day to have such great service.

Incredibly tasty food. We had a duck breast and it was amazing. The same for pork shoulder with potato dumplings and cabbage. The portion size was more than enough to be full. They also have a good choice of beer but that's obvious in Czechia. The staff was helpful and friendly. I got a feeling they care for the customer. For that matter, the waiter said the food is coming as we were waiting somehow longer than expected. This is understandable since the restaurant was full. Simultaneuosly, you don't have to wait long for the table - there's plenty of them.

It was very memorable (24.02) the food was very very very awesome. It was totally memorable for me that we went and eat there. The food was very cheap especially the Beer. The place is very family friendly expecially for the kids and even in pets. Ambience is very quiet. Totally awesome 😂😂

The table was reserved at 1800, but the server allowed us in, knowing we had to leave by 6:00. Very generous. We loved the vibe of the restaurant with the big tables and flooring. We all 3 enjoyed our meals. The server spoke bare-bones English but worked hard to get everything correct. We really appreciated her effort and tipped accordingly. There was an outdoor deck, and the base of the tables were old sewing machines! You should check this place out!

took a day trip from prague to kutna hora and v ruthardce was the highest rated restaurant so we decided to eat lunch here. for the expectations set by reviews, we were unfortunately underwhelmed. the restaurant is in the main town area. there is indoor seating and a nice outdoor patio seating area. service was alright, not the friendliest and was pretty slow. they charged us 40czk/2 euros for ketchup which seems a little crazy just to dip french fries in. they also charged for tap water which we didn't ask for. // duck confit with potato dumplings, red cabbage with cranberries and red wine (255czk) // the duck, cabbage, and potato dumplings had good flavors--we liked that it was less sweet than other places we've tried it (sometimes the cabbage or duck sauce is too sweet). however, the duck was not as moist/tender and on the dry side. // pulled pork burger with fermented red onion and mustard dressing, farmer's fries (205czk) // i decided to try the pulled pork burger since i wanted a break from czech cuisine. the burger was large and came with a generous side of french fries. the mustard was a nice touch since i am used to bbq sauce. good portion of pork too. the bun however was quite thick and felt slightly greasy. overall, the food was good; however, given the raving reviews i wouldn't say it's anything special and the service was just okay. prices seem high for kutna hora but lower than prague, and it was still a bit questionable that they charged so much for ketchup.

We stopped at the info desk near the bone church and the very nice guys recommended this restaurant as their favorite in town. So we went. At first I was a bit weary since finding the right door to open was a maze. However once inside the restaurant was so interesting and authentic and then we say the beautiful patio and garden. The server was very friendly, shared her recommendations and brought water for our dog. We had the pulled pork burger and roasted pork with dumplings. All DELICIOUS! Many people around us got the ribs which looked great too. Prices are very reasonable and we enjoyed the birds singing and garden view of the cathedral. We are expats that live in Prague and we will come back to this place again!

Amazing food, service and atmosphere. We were really lucky to get a table for 2 people in the nice garden as we didn’t book in advance. Really recommend this pork dish, it was very delicious. Also recommend chocolate cake with the ice cream 😍

I had pork ribs and farmers fries - the food was excellent and it came extremelly quick. But the attitude of the waiters are speechless. We waited for a few minutes for a waiter to take us to a free table but it didn't happen, we had to find an available table by ourselves. This is why i gave 4 stars.
