Definitely suggest. It was the most wonderful experience with food and service in all Greece. Cozy, local place. Food was awesome, super tasty and big portions. Owner was so helpful. We even got tea which was not in the menu. :) And the most warmest feelings about owner, he gave us the harvested tea and freshly cut rosemary with us to make our own Greek tea at home :)

We visited the Η αυλή του μεζέ while staying in Polikarpi and were looking for an restaurant with a natural look and feel. This is a family run taverna and the staff were very welcoming;we chatted for a while at the end of the meal. The menu ranged from Meats and Fish to Cheese and Salad dishes were tasky as was the local wine. We enjoyed our evening at the Η αυλή του μεζέ and plan to return.

Agree with all the previous reviews. It was the best meal we had in Greece including some top rated restaurants in Thessaloniki. All the dishes were outstanding

Reached this restaurant by looking at google maps and choosing the closest thing with the best reviews. 11 people for lunch. The owners set a table especially for us outside in the yard. We ordered most of the menu appetizers and small meals. The food was GREAT, the service was great, and the atmosphere was special. They gave us dessert on the house at the end of the meal. Small hardship- there was no English menu (which is nice because we know we reached a truly local restaurant). We scrolled through the Greek menu an translated menu at the same time, and pointed to the meals we wanted.

Lovely place, if you visit Pozar hot springs I think 10 km distance it's not going to be a problem if you like something more local than plenty of touristic tavern's around the Pozar.
