Amazing place, words can't describe the scenery. Mparos' Pass is the highest paved pass in Greece at 1900 meters and very popular for motorcycle trips. We made our trip by bicycles from Ioannina and it's a very challenging and demanding climb but the view is totally worth it. Beware of the sheppherd dogs on the part above 1500 meters, lots of sheep and cow herds in the area and the dogs can be dangerous for motorcyclists and cyclists alike.

great pass road with a super beautiful panorama, but be careful the road is not always completely safe because of landslides, especially in bad weather it is advisable to drive carefully

An altitude road with some traps will lead you in this faboulos place. You must be a good driver with patience and self-control. I drove this road two times coming from Kalarites and then from Matsouki. I went down to Metsovo folowing the route to Haliki and Anilio. The road is somewhat dangerous, narrow and most of the time empty. And one more thing: some people call this place Barros Pass.

The most amazing RIDE, it's not about the top of the mountain it's about the roads to get there, you have no idea until you try, watch out for the shepherd dogs and the road to Martouki, don't run, we did Papigo - Mparos - Karpenisi all back roads, AMAZING

We passed here on our way from Olympus area to Zumerka.... so happy we didn't look for toll roads to shorten our way. Beautiful views! Like Alps but much quieter and you are alone on the road... we visited at the end of June

Must-do! It took us roughly 4 hours. The road is not very good, but also not bad... It is doable. The scenery is wonderful!
