I had heard the place was good but we didn't really have the chance to see that because the host that was outside really made us leave. My husband was checking the place from outside to figure out if it's very busy or noisy (our daughter is autistic and can't handle the loud music/noise/screaming). He asked my husband what he was looking for and when he answered 'we are looking for a quiet place to eat ' he answered that there was no quiet place, that theirs was a loud and noisy one and if we want peace and quiet we should try the nearby church. Very rude. He didn't even know us, at first he thought my husband was an inspector checking the place. Of course I would not recommend it. There are plenty of others who are polite and accommodating.

We had their version of the house salad, which was good, and the fried feta with sesame seeds. The free dessert was a nice plus, and the service was terrific.

We were looking for a restaurant after visiting the Waterfalls in Edessa, and found Ousies a short walk away. A fantastic little place with indoor/ outdoor seating and an impressive menu with lots to choose from. We started w/ the local Batzio Saganaki & grilled vegetables. Our mains were Fresh Grilled Shrimp & and a house specialty Chicken Nest (Grilled chicken breast w/tomatoes in a creamy sauce on a bed of Kataifi). Everything was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. For dessert they brought us delicious orange & chocolate confections w/ice cream, and Ouzo on-the-house. My only regret was not taking more pictures! Our server Christos make excellent recommendations. Both he and his brother Tolis, the owner, came by our table often to make sure we were happy with everything.

Great restaurant, very good staff, but only order to your server, as the others might not understand your request. Food was very good, dessert was a compliment. They also have some stylish serving on some dishes as you can see in the video. It's also on the way to the waterfalls, 2 minutes from the center, so - a great location.

Outstanding Dinner. We really enjoyed our evening at the Ousies Restaurant. The staff is very friendly and helpful with the choices of local / Greek food. All dishes we had were delicious. Great music, nice atmosphere. Many thanks!

We loved everything that we ordered, especially that delicious calamari with a perfect light batter and fresh squid. The food is very fresh and tasty and this was one of our favorite meals during our visit to Greece. You can even choose a table outside by the water and greenery. A nice gem in Edessa.

Excellent Greek dinner! Split these together: Greek salad, tirokafteri, feta honey and sesame, and the chickens nest! Everything was fantastic with large portions…had to get a box to go. Friendly staff, great food and warm atmosphere. We will be back!! Thanks!

My wife and I came here during a short trip to Edessa. We were immediately greeted by a warm and friendly waiter who immediately made us feel so welcome. Both my wife and I had the seafood pasta (which was delicious and great value for money) before being treated to a beautiful dessert. Would 100% recommended and will definitely come back if we ever visit again.

Had our lunch here today, whilst on a visit to beautiful Edessa. The food was of quality and the ingredients fresh. Prices were decent. Can't say I was absolutely thrilled with the grilled keftedakia or the tigania(chicken, pork and sausage) but can't say it was entirely bad either. I really enjoyed the salad, the friend zucchini and also their fried potatoes were quite nice as well. In summary it's a fine place to dine out, but my personal opinion is there is some room for improvement.

Food was great. I had a wonderful seafood pasta and the wife had the special fried cod with potatoes. I know they're just potatoes but they were so delicious full of garlic. And we're learning you can't leave a restaurant until they give you dessert of which was also delicious. Would definitely come back. Oh, and feta was also very good. Everything was hot and delicious.

Ousies was amazing! I ordered the Calamari and the Chickens Nest both were delicious. The wine was great and staff were so lovely. I am solo travelling and they made me feel like I was eating at home. Tolis is very chatty and kind, he gave great recommendations of were to visit in the area.

Me and my fiancé we’re excited to try for lunch. We heard the calamari was excellent. Overall the food was good. The problem was the service. There was an older lady that was exceptional running every request and order. The younger blonde man was forgetful and not invested in giving us good service. We sat inside waiting for our dishes as they brought them one by one. It took them 40 minutes to serve our last dish. Okay experience that needs improvement.

A very interesting and delicious restaurant near the city center of Edessa. A wide range of dishes, from traditional ones to more innovatives. Food quality is pretty high, with all dishes which are prepared very well and served on a very nice way. We took 4 starters and 2 main dishes and the bill at the end was super honest. I definitely suggests to try this cozy place if you're staying couple of days in this beautiful town.

Found this place by accident, well I was looking for a place of the Locals and I was so happy to check it out. Food was Delicious perfectly spiced. Me and my family, 4 of us had light lunch that included lamb, fried zucchini, potatoes, cucumbers salad and grilling vegetables. Each was super tasty. On top of that the Owner who also serves us treats all customers with a rich desert. In short the high light of our trip to Edessa was this restaurant!

The best food thus far on our tour of Greece. As a plus, the atmosphere was amazing as was the service! Definitely should dine here!

Amazing food, amusing menu, caters for both tourists and locals alike. Calamari the size of my head over coals was a highlight. We will be back.

Everything was delicious 🤤!!! The personnel was really helpful and kind, also their dishes were spectacular 🥰!!! We ordered their green salad, it was really nice and served with orange pieces, refreshing i must say. We also ordered a dish called chicken in the nest. It was an amazing dish of chicken bites cooked in sour cream on top of vermicelli. Also another amazing dish was the chicken bites with the 4 cheeses sauce and the Greek traditional noodles. I would definitely suggest to try all of those dishes.

Awesomeness at its best! Absolutely delicious! Seafood spaghetti dish, eggplant salad, calamari, tomatoes and cucumbers salad, and topped with a nice dessert! Excellent service!
