A very nice place to escape from the city's madness, but definitely avoid weekends and holidays. Church have big yard with wooden seats where you can rest. Inside of the church you can stand on the marked stone and make some wish, or just pray for health for you and your family, reading special prayers.

One of the oldest monasteries from the 11th century situated on Skopska crna gora mountain. It has a road that you can drive right up to the monastery. There is seating where you can enjoy lunch or have coffee.

The first church in the world to be named Saint Nikita, built in the 11th century, over a magnificent hill with huge, old, walnut trees. Covered in deep shadows, and always with constant fresh breeze, this place is magical and for 10 centuries it invites people to enjoy its amazing nature, breathtaking scenery and the wonderful frescos. A true gem!

The Monastery is very old and well preserved. The fresks are unique and breathtaking. Arround the monastery there are is nice park tables and benches to sit. In the monastery there is a incorporated stone with power to catch wishes. A lot of people are coming and praying and make a wish, then they touch the stone with special power. It is believed that their wishes comes true.

Spend the day in the yard of St. Nikita. The location is amazing, in the middle of the stones and dry earth, the green oasis of the monastery. There are tables and chairs to use, but our visit was on a holiday and all of them were occupied. Due to COVID-19 situation the visit to the church was limited to one by one.

A very nice church keeper, very polite and kind. There are benches and tables in the yard, greenery, some chickens walking around, beautiful views of the surrounding villages and mountain. Old monastery built by the Serbian king Milutin at the beginning of the 14th century. The frescoes were painted by Mihail and Evtihij, the best fresco painters of that time.

Beautiful monastery on the slopes of Skopska Crna Gora mountain. Its a perfect getaway from the city. It is only 20 minutes from the city center. The Church is from the 14th century and it is a protected cultural heritage. The surroundings are beautiful. There are tables and chairs in the church yard and there is a clean water. Oh, and there is a goat!!!
