Ein Ort zum Nachdenken. Sehr beeindruckend. Es ist der Hügel des Ruhms. Für die Anlage wurde Erde aus den Heldenstädten Moskau, Leningrad, Wolgograd, Sevastopol, Odessa, Kiew und aus der Brester Festung zusammengetragen, sie wurde 1969 eröffnet. Am Fuße kann man auch einen Kaffee trinken.

Since I had 3 hours to spare before my airplane flight I decided to stop there and visit. It is truly an amazing sight. Once you get on top you can see alot of Belorusian land and beautiful fields. You can even see Minsk from it. Definitely a place you should visit if anyone goes to Belarus.

Schönes, typisch russisches Monument auf halben Weg zwischen Minsk - Airport und Minsk. Der Parkplatz ist etwas schwierig zu finden bzw. zu erreichen. Ansonsten hat man eine sehr schöne Aussicht dort oben über das Land. Vorsicht: Im Winter vereisen die Betonteile aufgrund des starken Windes an dieser Stelle sehr schnell.

Historical monument 25 km away from Minsk. Must visit for everyone who is planning to visit the city. Small but interesting expo of the Soviet military vehicles, amongst the others there is Experimental T10... must see

Imposantes CCCP Denkmal das dort wohl schon einige Jahrzehnte steht. Für den Weg dorthoch sollte man Schwindelfrei sein, denn ein Geländer gibt es nicht und einige Trittstufen sind sehr marode und wackelig/schief. Der Ausblick ist in Ordnung, man guckt auf Land und eine Autobahn, also nichts wofür man extra anreisen muss. Das Interessante ist eher das Denkmal an sich. Auf dem Weg dorthin vom Parkatz aus, stehen verschiedene Infosäulen zum Thema Weltkrieg. Auf dem Parkplatz stehen dann unter anderem noch verschiedene Panzer, die gerne als Kinderspielplätze genutzt werden. Außerdem gibt es ein kleines Café/Kiosk

Great place. It is very difficult come to the top...you should try it. Only writing this post I understood the idea of this monument. I was really impressed, but did not understand it. Few years later...but better later than never

Great Soviet monument

A compact and Vivid Soviet Memorial to the operation that liberated Belarus in 1944. A bunch of Tanks beside it and nice coffee place with cakes.

Mound of glory is massive memorial that towers over the mostly flat land of Belarus. It is most impressive in its size however there is not much more to it. The view from the top is almost entirely flat grain fields as far as the eye can see.

Eternal glory to those who fought in WW2.
