It was a really very nice visit out there!!..The service was really nice everything was nice and fine the food was very good and the desert were really even more good. Trust if you are in nainital that's a must go to place...⁠♡♡

Failed to maintain hygeian. We visited the place on 9 of April 2023 on recommendation of many. We ordered kumaon thali. While eating maduva roti ( ragi roti) I chewed a stone of half centimetre long, it has become three pieces. When we complained to the person serving us didn't bother to acknowledge, he ignored our concern. We had similar reaction from owner saying that we use packaged packets of ragi flour and can't help. It was surprising we can't do much.. And one more thing i have noticed is cooking area is not well maintained with thousands of food print of dark soil. Almost felt like nausea..

I recently dined at Shiva Restaurant in Bara Bazaar, Nainital, and it was a delightful experience. The Kumaoni thali was a true highlight, especially the saag with maki ki roti and the heavenly gajar halwa. Special thanks to Pankaj Ji, the owner, for his outstanding hospitality, and to Naveen for the prompt service and serving everything piping hot. Highly recommend this place and looking forward to visiting again soon.
