Tent stay - especially on top of the mountain 7. Very secured and peaceful place. 8. Network connectivity is good if you stay on top of the mountain! 9. Verities of plants in their garden If you want to talk with nature, please visit this place. I would love to visit here and do WFH for a week! Beautiful serene location in western ghats, spectacular view, Mr. Pramod is a gracious host and his insight on flora and fauna around is stupendous. Rooms are clean and elegant with good views. Very relaxing for a digital detox with no cell phone connectivity or TV. But they do have a robust internet broadband. No Airtel connectivity and Jio is very patchy. Download google map navigation offline for directions. Food is traditional local veg cuisine, well thought out theme based approach. Overall if you are a scriptwriter, Nature photographer, loves to work without any disturbance or distraction or you need a inspiratiional setting. This the place to be..

Hi, we stayed here for 2 days and the experience was very beautiful amidst nature. We specifically loved nature view around the home stay and kudos to the team maintaining hygiene overall. My kids also enjoyed the stay at the tent , shooting games and the campfire. Mr.Pramod and his wife and the entire staff was very cooperative and had patience to all the customizations we requested during our stay. Food, milk and welcome drink was really fresh and healthy. It's a good place to visit to refresh your mind and relax. Thanks to the entire team for great hospitality.

We stayed here for 4 days. Amazing hospitality and great environment. Authentic in nature and gives the homely feeling. We had a great stay. Very kind and helpful staff. The rooms are very neat and clean with splendid views of greenery. The food was healthy and delicious. Pramod (owner) is knowledgeable, guides and provides all the support to visit beautiful places near by which made our stay a memorable one. Must visit and Highly recommended. Pramod and his team provided very awesome hospitality. Good, healthy food and comfortable accommodation was provided. The 360 degree view around the property is beautiful and surreal. The view of nature from roof of the homestay is not to be missed during evenings. Once again, thanks to Pramod for maintaining this property in very good condition. Even though there were three of us friends, Pramod went extra mile to provide us an additional room. We travelled here in Dec 2022..

We found this place at the last minute as we were checking out from Sirsi! The place is down to earth, good courtesy and tasty local cuisine but vegetarian. The beauty of nature here is serene! Lots of trees flowering plants all around. Staff is good. The welcome drink was unique. We, four young (70 and beyond) stayed for a night and had good time. In my opinion unless someone is looking for‘still’ life, it is difficult to pass the time for more than two days. There is no cell connectivity but at the resort they have good WiFi. At times there is no electricity and the generator takes care. One needs to be cautious and should not depend on google maps to reach this place due to lack of data coverage . I was told that they have regular store and send jaggery and spices to clients in other states. Their jaggery is better than honey! At my request Pramod gave kotte idli free! I carried sapling of banana and chilly from them too. In my opinion, the tariff per person daily price of ₹2800 is quite high! ( my opinion and could be wrong). Overall a pleasant experience and we wish Pramod and his charming wife Pavitra to turn this place into successful venture.

The best home stay to visit in midst of beautiful nature. Very neat and clean rooms including bathrooms. We were served organic home cooked food which was very yummy and tasty. Very kind hospitality and good service given by Mr Pramod and team.

Everything about this place is excellent.The stay,the organic food,the hospitality and ofcourse it's pristine location amidst the nature is mesmerizing. We had a wonderful time here and the owner Pramod & his staff left no stone unturned with regards to hospitality,to ensure that our stay was memorable. Will Adjectives will run out if we have to describe this place. Definitely recommended. Courteous and friendly staff. They serve only veg which was best part for me. Authentic malnad food is served and I loved every bit of it. The last stretch has no tar so drive carefully, better to honk. The property is well maintained. USP is location and people. Had visited during monsoon next visit will be in winter. If any veg families want to visit this place by all means go ahead.

We were family of 3 with a kid stayed in this beautiful homestay for a day.. Everything about this place is amazing.. Be it food, the nature or hygienic rooms.. And the hospitality of the owners pramod and pavitra is to another level they made our stay comfortable and memorable one.. Had a great time here!

We had been here for 2 days, it's a homely ambience with very delicious food. We got very good welcoming with a drink. Had 24-hours hot water, very hygienic rooms and dining area. Owner/Servers/care-takers are very dedicative. I would like to mention more about food, it's extremely very healthy and tasty( red rice,raw papaya palya, rice kheer with vanilla, mango chutney) We also bought raw papaya, jonni Bella, black peppers, herlikai and honey from their own estate. If your looking for work from home then it's a great choice.

What a incredible place to stay. Mesmerizing view from resort. The perfect organic authentic food. The morning trek around mixed farms. Indoor games to play. Just enjoyed those 2 amazing days in the home stay. A must visit one.

Must stay place for nature lovers and healthy eaters. The host Mr.Pramod takes special care of the food and shows interest in showing things around. Well mannered staff and neatly maintained homestay. Views are awesom from terrace. Bird lovers can enjoy there stay a lot.

Myself and a friend intended to hike to Mattighatta falls. We reached that hike starting point by around 11:30 AM on 2 motorbikes and were surprised that what used to be a home a few years back is now a homestay. Pramod who runs a sustainable eco-friendly homestay welcomed us. After introductions he gave us the directions to the waterfall. As we were about to leave he suggested that we should have lunch as it might be 2:30 by the time we return. We agreed. When we returned, he welcomed us with a local hot beverage made of spices. He showed us around the property. The rooms and the dormitary are very well maintained and provide scenic views. Lunch was served in a dining hall on first floor. The tables are laid out on a balcony with an amazing view. Local cuisine food was tasty and prepared in a homely fashion. Post lunch we were accompanied to a view point on the terrace where you get 360 degrees view.

We family of 5 stayed for one night. Place is surrounded by greenery and hills. There is a small stream, kids had fun in the water. Home made food was good. City folks will experience the rustic surroundings. Host Pramod is an excellent guide and awesome host. Overall good experience and would recommend this place.

I started off with a bad note in heart about not wearing flip-flops to the bathroom, but Pramod the owner of this place cleared my issues first thing in the morning and made my stay blissful as this place is. Food and ambience is just next level sweet.

If going with kids...n they are interested in and around nature then ok...

Pramod is very joyful person and he hosted our stay very nicely. If you are a person who wants to stay near by nature then this is the place for you.

after coming from Goa we came here for 1 night...the food is very healthy and natural they welcomed us with a drink too and when we got our rooms it was very clean and we thought that it is near the forest and there would be lots of bugs and insects but not even a single mosquito and the view from our balcony was amazing...we did some bird watching and saw some rare and beautiful birds there is a terrace too and the view was wonderful and there is greenery everywhere... would recommend to stay here for 2-3 days

We stayed for 5 days at homestay, it was really very nice experience and especially a accommodation was fantastic simple & very clean, No insects , food was excellent and all the recipes were shared by pramod by detailed story , especially don't skip welcome drink, we were trying every day, pramod were take care of everything, sightseeing places were excellent (all the scheduled managed by pramod also) , the estate walk was also fantastic experience, it was almost taking 2 hours to show the estate, the campsite was also fantastic, Hospitality - 5/5 Cleanness : 5/5 Organic Food : 5/5 Estate Walk 5/5 Secure / Safety : 5/5 WIFI : 5/5

We are couple and chosen tent stay. It was really nice place to stay. Food is malnad style tasted great. View was good from terrace.New year arrangements are good. Games could have been arranged littlebit better.

Mattighatta aka MadhyaGhata is a heaven on Earth. Pramod, Giri and team were really friendly and made us feel free to connect with them and were helpful all the time. The facilities made available in midst of the forest is really great. And everything in the property we see is biodegradable and they use the natural resources very well. Hospitality and food (local malnad food experience) was excellent. The views from the dining area and the terrace is amazing. As this was a short plan, I couldn't explore more but really like to visit very soon to experience more around this place.
