This is my second day in Athens, and I found a pigeon on the street that wasn’t moving but was still alive. I had no idea who to call or what to do, but we found Anima wildlife rescue and hopped in a cab and took our pigeon to them. They took him (we decided to name him Zeus, the birthday pigeon) immediately, and administered treatment. While we were being taken care of, two more people came to leave birds. This place is working overtime to care for the wildlife. The people who work here are passionate. Zeus the birthday bird is in good hands 🙌

I rescued a baby magpie, who has fallen from the nest and broke it's leg. When I arrived at Anima, I saw a variety of wild animals, birds mostly, that were given good care, until they are able again to enjoy their freedom. Bravo to these people, cause, without their help, all these wild animals wouldn't survive.

The people who represent ANIMA are genuinely caring towards all animals. We took a bird with a broken wing and they so lovingly took it under their care. We are forever grateful for the workt that you do.

The facility doesn't seem big or advanced enough to deal with the amount and type of animals they "specialize" to, and the stuff is rude and uneducated.

Really amazing people, taking care of wounded wild animals! We should all thank them for what they do but not just with words...😉

It is the second time I went there for injured pigeons I found in the city. It is an accessible place in kallithea ans they do an amazing job with treating the animals.

Amazing, a small baby mouse found me and thry help me to save him! Highly recommended!

We found a baby pigeon and brought it to ANIMA, because they have the means to help all wildlife and birds. They will set them free in a safe environment far from people when they are healthy and strong! Well done ANIMA volunteers!! 🥰
