Extremely poor service. I have been here six times and on my last visit the service was so bad that I've decided not to go back. The lady was clearly unhappy and rude when we ordered only three items. She also had a problem when we asked for extra plates and cutlery. The owner/chef even charged a service fees without even informing us. We always leave a tip or pay the service charge but then the service needs to be at least decent if not superb. Plus, he insisted on taking cash, repeatedly! We carry a negligible amount as contactless is preferred everywhere since the start of the pandemic. As for the food, it is average. Portions are small and food is over priced. The only reason I've been here is that I couldn't find something healthy to eat on Brick Lane. With so many vegans options in London, I will advice against eating here.

Honestly, the best little vegan place in London. The owners are the kindest people, always welcoming me with warm smiles. I have eaten here several times as it is a couple minutes away from my office and the food & service was always incredible. It is worth trying every single item on the menu and all worth the price. I even bought Mauro’s cookbook & made kimchi at home that turned out amazing!!

I cannot recommend this amazing place highly enough and it has to be a favourite restaurant! Delicious food, great atmosphere and wonderful friendly service! We got to taste different kimchi on arrival to choose which for any meals. I had the toppoki gnocchi and it's was the best gnocchi I've ever had! The kimchi sausage and rice dish I tried was also tasty. For drinks I ordered the hot chocolate with rum, very thick and chocolatey! Also tried the kimchi mojito which was nice, maybe could add more kimchi kick to it. For dessert, the chocolate covered mochi was wild! I am still dreaming about it - too good!! Thanks for everything!!

Fantastic food and wonderful staff. Starting with a taster dish of the different types of kimchi, the food just got better and better. The inari was sweet but with the savory red cabbage kimchi really contrasted deliciously. Our mains were the mushroom gnocchi and the sausage ragu with crispy toast and both were incredibly satisfying and rich in flavours. To finish we had the Mochi and the chocolate mousse. Have to say, one mochi was not what I expected, but the flavour and texture were excellent. Definitely somewhere to check out if the Korean Italian fusion interests you or you just like decent vegan food.

The food was unbelievably tasty, I wiped my entire plate clean! The different kimchis the chef has developed were super interesting and I loved all four. The kombucha was lovely too, I think homemade. And the dessert was lush. The welcome was friendly and homely. I ate there alone and felt very comfortable there. Its so good to find interesting vegan food! So glad I stopped by. I really recommend everyone bobs in and tries the food!

Let me start with the owners are super nice and that it usually takes a lot to impress me with fusion foods, specifically asian fusion. I'd have to say I had the highest expectations going to this restaurant with a 4.9 rating on Google reviews, but honestly, I was greatly disappointed. I took my family here when they visited, and it was our least liked meal. When I think of Italian food, I think of al dente cooked pasta with a great tomato base. And when I think of korean food, I think of the punches of kimchi flavors. Together, I think of a well cooked pasta with bursts of asian flavors. To me, neither was achieved. We did have the famous kimchi lasagna, and in my view, the pasta was overcooked, and the burst of flavor just wasn't there. It felt confusing as to where it belonged. We did try other dishes, but unfortunately, this restaurant probably just isn't for me. I will leave my thoughts on food at that. Otherwise, the service was fine. The space was on the small side, so if you decide you want to try this place, it's probably worth making a reservation as the place was full.

Amazing vegan food place, probably my favourite one in London! The owners were very welcoming and service was great. I love that all their food is centered around a balanced gut, they integrate homemade kimchi into a lot of the dishes and don’t use any refined sugar or preservatives. The dishes are so creative and honestly could belong in a fine dining restaurant. I will definitely come back here often.

An interesting, Korean twist to popular dishes like lasagna, gnocchi, burgers, sausages that's worth trying! The owners are very welcoming and friendly. The place is small, cozy with a personal touch. We'll definitely visit it again but probably during off-peak hours.

Really delicious, unusual flavours and clean ingredients, no refined oils, no processed sugar, no fake foods, no preservatives, and oil-free cooking (any oil added raw after it’s made). Chef Mauro & Dr.Min have studied nutrition collectively for more than 31 years and create their dishes based on their health and cooking knowledge. Everything was delicious. The kimchi here is different than any you have tried. I’ll be back! I had the sushi burger, mushroom gnocchi, and chocolate potato dessert plus chocolate mochi.

An absolute gem in the middle of Brick Lane 💎 with some of the best vegan dishes I've ever had! We ordered the lasagna, the kimchi burger, and the mushroom gnocchi which blew us away! Each dish was unique and special in its own way. The Korean/Italian fusion was well executed and the kimchi infusions to the classic Italian dishes were something I had never tasted before. A must try for lovers of both meat and vegan dishes! 🍔🌱

This is such a cute shop! It's run by a lovely couple who are so friendly and passionate about what they do. They came to us to explain everything, offered us explanations of certain meals and their benefits, to even helping us choose a wine bottle. Everything is vegan and they have a good selection of gluten free options. The food is mostly kimchi inspired, so if you want to show your gut some love check this place out. I had a rice and kimchi bowl and my friend had a plant based burger, which was huge! And all home made, from the buns to the patty. There's desert too if you have space for it. My bibimbap and my friends kimchi burger plus the bottle if wine totalled £61. There is seating for about 15 or maybe more. Its a nice place, music is current R&B but not too loud so you can have a conversation without shouting. Overall this was a 10/10 experience. For all my vegan family, this is a place to check out!

Me and my boyfriend were on our way to another place, when we noticed the Vegan Yes sign, and decided to try it. Mauro and Min warmly welcomed us, told us about the place, the food and their story as we were curious to hear about it. The food was very good, homey and tasteful. I've ordered the gnocchi with mushrooms and sea weed, which was extremely accurate with all the flavours. Also the Daiquiri was as wonderful as Mauro's moustache ❤️

Absolutely fantastic. I've never had vegan sausage this tasty and the sauce is apparently cooked for 7hrs (and you can really taste it). Service was also wonderful and bonus! They play really good jams while you have your tasty meal.

Fully vegan Korean and Italian fusion. Very interesting. Love that you get to sample the four types of kimchi first before selecting your food, very helpful to do this

Food was very delicious and creative, super lovely owners couple and cozy atmosphere with some quirkiness. At the moment of stepping into the restaurant it seemed a bit weird and not what I expected, but it surprised me in the best possible ways, once I opened up to experiencing it without judgment. I was stunned by super interesting and creative dishes in the menu, also by the warmth and friendliness of the lady owner. I felt like dinning in her kitchen. We got acquainted with the history of the restaurant and the founders, and the idea behind the restaurant, really interesting. Best kimchi I've ever tasted. Also sushi burger was amazing and the chocolate potatoes and chocolate mochi were marvelous. I'm going there again once I'm in London.

I stopped here for lunch, I just luv finding places that are fully vegan. I took the Toppognocchi, the dark chocolate Mochi and the butterfly pea Flower kombucha. The food was beautifully presented, the fusion dish was delicious with great long cooked tomato sauce and the olive oil that was superb. The mochi was stretchy with sweet red bean paste inside and the drink was great and also good for your tummy digestions. The service was lovely and kind and very thoughtful if you ask for your dish not to be spicy since it's made on the spot.

We had the best experience eating here. The kimchi is amazing. We chose the pasta and the kimchi burger, they both tasted amazing. Very rich in flavors. Everything is handmade and fresh. The owner is super kind and excited to tell you about their concept. If we return to London we will come back.

This was the perfect place for a date night with my friend. We are both very health conscious and utterly obsessed with anything pickled. The place is tiny with the charm. You feel welcome straight away. It has got the feel of a family run place which is what we loved not to mention the kimchi selection. The food was absolutely divine and I'm sure we'll be back very very soon!! Thank you for a lovely evening

Really enjoyed visiting this fully vegan fusion restaurant last Wednesday evening. The restaurant is small, and we sat at the only available table (as it was understandably busy). Waitor offered us their range of Kimchi to try and then explained the menu (you can chose which kimchi goes on your dish). All of the dishes were very nice and came quickly. Will definitely be returning.

Great vegan restaurant. I went many times and it never let me down. The best dish in my opinion are the vegan sausages. Definitely a place to go if you are vegan or if you simply want to have some very healthy food. It is very small inside so best if you book

A really cute lunch date with my partner, chatting with the owners about their history and love for Italian and Korean fusion food. The owners are incredibly friendly and informative and I am so glad to have found a new favourite spot to eat. Their love for food definitely shines through the dishes and their 4 types of homemade Kimchi is just phenomenal!!!!

A hidden gem! Nestled between endless Bengali curry houses is this charming family-run oasis of Italian / Korean fusion cuisine. Chef Mauro and Dr. Min are delightful hosts who take great pleasure in preparing and serving novel vegan dishes that are delicious, healthy and generously priced. At the heart of the menu is Kimchi, a salted and fermented cabbage dish which is unusually combined with traditional Italian dishes such as lasagne and gnocchi. Whether you’re just after one of their specially brewed kombucha drinks or would rather indulge in a sit down meal, Yes Vegan is a premier destination for the plant-based foodie.

Very pleasant small vegan place offering Korean/Italian hybrid cuisine. We really enjoyed the bibimbap and the kimchi burger. When you first sit down you will have a chance to taste all four kinds of kimchi that they serve, so that you can choose which one you would like to order in your dish. The dark chocolate mochi was awesome, hands down best I’ve ever had. The owners are very kind and personable. I’ll definitely visit again! Please note you can only pay by cash or transfer via Revolut or Monzo, no card machine.

I was well satisfied with the food - kimchi was really good and if you try all 4 tastes, you can experience fountain of different tastes in your mouth. I wouldn’t recommend komchucha cause it’s overpriced and doesn’t have any taste. What I didn’t like is that on a day when I came the card machine was unavailable, so you could pay only by cash and the waitress didn’t tell anything about that until I got the bill. This must be said at first, before taking any order because nowadays people don’t have cash and since I’m not local, I spent much more by taking cash from atm and paying those commissions. Also I didn’t like attitude of that lady. You don’t feel welcomed here.

I've never been in a place like this before. It was the best discover here in London. I'm vegan so I always struggle in finding places where I can eat. This place is warming, friendly and familiar. The cuisine is the best fusion between Asian and European cultures, and it so brainwashing to know all the work behind these dishes. The place is little but cute and friendly, and the owner and chef is the best 😻 if you are in London you should visit this place!

I’m giving this place three stars rather than one because they serve purposely designed vegan food, so the chef did put some thought into it and the taste was not awful. Having said that, the biggest problem is that the place is really small and has NO TOILET. The dishes are a bit pretentious, they are presented as high-end cuisine but the taste is not so special. The prices are quite high.

An absolute gem. We were welcomed by one of the owners with a selection of kimchi to taste. The menu is varied and interesting, prices reasonable. Definitely try the kimchi cocktails! Worth noting that it’s cash only so might be worth stopping by a cash machine prior.

Really poor service. I went a couple of time, the food was ok, really overprices for quantity, quality and location. Some of the plates are really spicy which it should be communicated before you order. The woman working there was a bit rude and when we asked for the receipt they didn’t give it to us. Honestly, there are best options in London. Negroni, doesn’t taste like it, don’t try it.

We were welcomed by Dr. Min, one of the owners, and she was so lovely and kind. The kombucha, sushi burgers, kimchi, black bean inari, and seaweed salad were delicious!!! The star of the show was the dark chocolate mochi though. One of the best desserts I’ve ever had. We also grabbed one of their kimchi recipe books before leaving - excited to try some out!

I am a kimchi convert! My wife and I LOVE everything about Vegan Yes! Our food was amazing, the atmosphere is cozy & friendly and Maura and Dr. MIn (owners) are incredibly friendly and very good people. We had the kimchi burger, a soy & hemp burger on a great toasted bun w/ kimchi mayo, coconut-based cheese and korean chili sauce. Yum!! We also had the toppognochi, korean rice sticks, potato gnocchi mixed in Italian tomato sauce and fermented chilli sauce. Soo good! They also have a good wine list. We will definitely be back during our visit here. Go!

Thrilling adventure the from the first moment that door was passed. Seeing as the main title was "Vegan" I wasn't aware that this place is so heavily themed about kimchi, so when I was asked about if I like kimchi, I answered that I'm not a fan of it, I could just heard a sinister laugh of Italian chef, which made me think "probably that's not the right answer in this place". The owners are the best (being a good laugh and patient with their customers). Didn't give me any mean comments about what I've said, prepared a plate of kimchi samples, so to know with which ones to prepare meals. And meals were marvelous. This Italian-Korean fusion was something really refreshing and flavours were totally different from what I was used to when trying kimchi in other places. Still they change the flavour of dishes but didn't overpower them. And they even have few different kinds of homemade kambocha. Clearly a most try for all fans of it. Highly recommend if you want to try something new and want to get both type of cuisine finest on one plate.

Popped in here for dinner, service is super amazing and the owners are very charming. Location is great but has limited indoor and outdoor seating. Their menu is heavily based on kimchi and I personally tried the pasta and piramide dishes. They were nice enough but not really something I enjoyed, my friend did like it a lot and had the bibimbap. Drinks were good and they also have kimchi cocktails. They don't have toilets themselves but have access to ones around the corner in the pub. Not sure I'll be back but my friend will be. We didn't try the deserts as the portion size is filling for a main.

Really lovely food! Walked past again, was craving Italian and just went in, lovely fusion, you can tell immediately it’s fresh and homemade. So delicious, the owners genuinely care about the food and the vibe is lovely! Thanks you 🙏🏽✨

Kimchi lovers, this is your spot! Very innovative vegan fusion of Korean and Italian cuisine with many original options on the menu, kombucha, kimchi cocktails and good Italian wine. The owners are mad about kimchi and they indeed prepare it very well. The owner happily explains the concept, suggests the dishes and just tries to make it the best food experience. I only didn't like the multiple attempts of trying to sell me the owners book. It would be enough to just let me know once. The place has a couple of tables inside and outside. The food was tasty. We had the kimchi tasting plate, kimchi lasagna, Korean gnocchi, wine and dessert mochi (probably the best I have ever tried, so make sure you don't miss it) . Apparently the lasagna is the one of the most popular dishes. I liked the flavour but it lacked some sauce like bechamel. It was a bit more dry than I expected, although full of kimchi so if that is what you like you won't regret trying this dish. The portions are decent size, the price for the food and drink was more less 20£ per person but if you take cocktails instead that would raise respectively. You can check their menu online but the owner constantly introduces some seasonal dishes so there might be more options inside. This place certainly deserves 5 stars and I would recommend trying it our as its an unique experience.

Definitely my favourite restaurant in London, they give you four delicious types of kimchi to choose for your dish. Every dish I’ve had there was good, I definitely recommend getting a dish with the kimchi (bibimbap if you can’t choose between the type of kimchi), & the chocolate potatoes for dessert, they are not overly sweet and perfectly rich

I’ve never been to another restaurant like this. A restaurant born out of love (quite literally) that brings together two different culinary worlds and makes something unique that’s better than the sum of their parts. It’s a delight to eat here and I’ll definitely come back to eat more of their dishes. Not to mention they’re vegan!

Went to this cafe last week and had some of the most delicious vegan food ever. We ordered the Toppognocchi, Kimchi Burger and Dark Chocolate Mochi (not pictured. We finished it in seconds and ordered one more). Not only did EVERY element of the meal taste brilliant, it left us feeling energised and fresh. We enjoyed the quaint, cosy atmosphere and the owners were extremely friendly. Only cash is accepted here which we noticed halfway through the meal. Conveniently, there was an ATM nearby. Definitely going back here whenever I get the chance!

Sounds like a strange fusion at first but when we tried a dish or two it was incredibly amazing. A fusion of Italian-Korean vegan, we were hooked at first bite. I highly recommend the kimchi lasagne as the first dish. Could eat the spinach sides alone, and the kimchi had just the right amount of spice. The service was excellent and the chef was personable and entertaining. Highly recommended and would go again.

Unique. Delicious. I had the tempeh. It was flavorful and filling. I like that you get to try a small sample of all the kimchi flavors before deciding which one goes with your entree. The staff was really friendly. The ginger infusion was really good too. Would love to eat here again.
