Delicious Malaysian/Indonesian food in South Kensington😋 Very chic vibe inside so great for a date night on a special day. I went for my bday dinner and loved it. Service was very smooth and staffs were very friendly. A bit pricy so wouldn’t come here everyday💸but all of the foods we ordered were very very good 👍🏼

Great food and attentive service, as always! I've been dining here for years now and Martin is my go to person whenever I visit. All dishes are so well prepared and very authentic. Excellent service from everyone. Salt and pepper aubergine is a must dish; shredded beef is one of the best ones I ever had. Great lychee martinis and wine list.

The staff are so kind and friendly, really enjoyed their service. The oat prawns and crispy beef are a must try, both very flavourful. The xo lamb was nice but too salty for our own personal preference. Very family and baby friendly given that it is not loud inside and fairly casual environment.

Certainly among the finest Malaysian Halal fine dining establishments in London, this restaurant stands out for its light and non-greasy cuisine. We started with a mixed starter, which was both delicious and well-received. Following that, we enjoyed crispy rice chips accompanied by sauces, edamame, sea bass, and prawns with rice. The ambiance is particularly appealing, and the service was prompt for a weekday dinner. I intend to return. While it is not inexpensive, the quality of the food justifies the cost, especially considering its proximity to Chelsea, though it's closer to Kensington, which sets certain expectations. The portion sizes were satisfactory, and the dishes were both flavorful and aesthetically pleasing. It's worth noting that all the food is Halal. The waitstaff were exceptionally courteous and efficient. We are certainly planning another visit.

Very much overpriced… I can accept it if the food taste delicious. However, it’s just mediocre…I probably can cook better at home myself. Char Tway Teow was a bit cold and not much flavour. But when I tired the broccoli it was even more tasteless…no garlic flavour nor salt. The deco in the restaurant was cool and the service was excellent. Staffs are really friendly - add a star here for the service I got otherwise it will be two stars. Unexpectedly, they offered polaroid photos to us for free (not every table got this)

Malaysian and Cantonese menu. Nice decor, well air-conditioned, very friendly and chatty staff. I had Aromatic crispy duck starter - this was one of the best I've tried, the duck was cooked well and very delicious. The pancakes are big. Nasi Lenka - the chicken was delicious, rice flavoured with coconut, side of peanuts and egg and a paste sauce. Anchovies I am not keen on so didn't eat them. I enjoyed this dish. Crisp beef - it is very crispy cooked all the way through so it doesn't even taste like beef anymore and covered in a sweet sauce. It was like eating niknaks. I didn't enjoy this dish as much as the rest. Golden prawns - giant prawns covered in crushed cornflakes. Again this tatsed too sweet for me, I enjoyed the prawns but I wouldn't recommend. Complimentary prawn crackers. This came to over £100 for 2 people. I feel like this was a little pricey. Parked on single yellow.

Great place for halal Chinese food. They provided dates for Iftar. The food was fresh and delicious. Was recommend the dynamite shrimp and it was worth the recommendation, well worth the try. This is place is nice and trendy. Great location in Chelsea. Great for birthdays as well as the restaurant provided a complimentary cake and wished happy birthday which was a nice touch.

I booked this restaurant for my birthday and I’m so glad I did! When we arrived it was fairly empty with only a few tables. We were seated quickly and given menus. Staff were extremely attentive and I can’t fault them at all. The ambience is so calm and such a good vibe. The background music is to my taste of soft easy listening r&b & soul music. A point in the evening came when we were the only table dining and the manager (I think) was even dancing along and engaging conversation with us but not overbearing. The food didn’t disappoint either. Everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection. We ordered a few dishes that we all shared including or starters: chicken skewers, dim sum, chicken wings, salt & pepper prawns, crispy duck pancakes and our mains including: crispy shredded beef, sweet & sour sesame chicken, beef rendeng, beef in black bean sauce, mango chicken, special fried rice, egg fried rice & a noodle dish. All the meats were tender and melt in the mouth. The crispy shredded beef was soft but had a lovely crunch to it. Our only “complaint” would be that none of the main dishes come with any veg or sides like rice, so it can all add up. Example: main £23 , veg side £9, rice £6.50 . It would’ve been nice for all mains come with at least egg fried rice and you have option to upgrade to noodles or other rice options for a fee. For this reason alone I’d recommend this restaurant as a special occasion restaurant. The portions aren’t overly small but could be slightly bigger at the prices they charge. When looking at their prices keep in mind the area/location and the fact they’re Halal. I was given a cupcake for my birthday and the manager took a few lovely Polaroid photos of us all. Lighting isn’t the best inside as it’s low mood light. Also the bathrooms are down 2 flights of stairs so be wary of this if your mobility is restricted. For a table of 6 our bill including drinks came to £77 pp

Googled halal Asian near Fulham and out came Zheng. Fusion of Malay and Chinese. So we went for lunch before football kick off. Welcomed by friendly staff. Simple dining area ground floor and lounging area downstairs. Food were lovely. The kueyteow and nasi goreng seafood were authentic. A little disappointed with the kangkong blacan. Chef need to wash the veg thoroughly as they were sandy. Also it was drowned what looked and tasted like sambal paste rather than blacan paste. Generous portion. Take away for the left over. It’s rather expensive. We paid £86/- lunch for 2 with no dessert.

Food, service and atmosphere was amazing! Cannot fault this restaurant. we ordered crispy duck and dim sum for starter. Sesame chicken, shredded beef and Singapore noodles for mains. Wasn’t too keen on the shredded beef. The service was impeccable and they even gave free cupcake for my birthday.

Starters were so phenomenal, i didn’t manage to take photos of them! Highly recommend the starter platters. My meat-eating friends loved the duck. I managed to find some vegan options too which was great. The staff members last night were absolutely excellent, they were attentive enough to keep us happy with food and drink, didn’t pressure us with anything, they shared their recommendations from the menu, and were very kind and professional in general. The prices were a bit high, however this Malaysian restaurant is in the heart of Chelsea/South Kensington so I’m not surprised the prices were on the high end. This was our third visit there and certainly we will be back at some point 🙏🏻

Honestly the best, I have nothing bad to say! Martin gave us a great experience throughout, he went above and beyond to ensure that we enjoyed every moment. He even took his time to show us the correct way to use chop sticks, took beautiful pictures of us and entertained us. The other staff were all lovely and amazing too. What was even better was the food and the music!!! 10/10 I’m a fussy eater but everything here was perfect. I will definitely be back again. Thank you Zheng 🤍

A self-admitted poor bar - they didn’t have the ability to make an old fashioned. This is mediocre bland food at Chelsea prices. The restaurant is huge and one floor was entirely empty when we left at 9pm. The owner/head waiter felt at ease in jeans with his other staff wearing creased shirts and having no knowledge of the menu. The food was bland and by no means approaching the prices they charge… I’d hoped for a true Malaysian experience… I was left hugely disappointed. Malaysia is the true fusion country - culinary, religious… this restaurant rests on its outdated reviews and now serves lacklustre food to ignorant Londoners… what a shame!

Great food, kind and attentive staff. Sweet and sour chicken is a next level! The best is to visit this place then do delivery as food tastes so much better!

I went here for dinner and ordered a Char Kway Teow. My go to order whenever I visit Malaysian restaurant is Char Kway Teow. It is a stir-fried flat rice noodles with variety of toppings (usually seafood). If you want the authentic rich flavour of Malaysian or Asian food DON’T COME HERE! Flavour is very bland, not strong in their spices. And most importantly it’s £17 for one dish. NOT WORTH YOU MONEY!

Interesting restaurant, a mixture of Cantonese and Malaysian cousine. Dishes are well curated. The atmosphere is a bit lacking and anonymous. Prices are on the high end. Would reccomend but wouldn't go back there a second time.

This restaurant mixes Malaysian and Chinese flavors really well. The menu has tasty spicy and savory dishes from both cuisines. The vibe is nice, making it a cool spot for a different food experience.

One of the best restaurants I've been to! The customer service and attention to detail is excellent. Our favourite dish was the cumin spicy lamb and the crispy aromatic duck. The flavours of the dishes are like nothing I've tasted before, can't wait to go again!

Lovely food, and professional staff advising on what’s good to eat. The food here is halal but they also serve alcohol. The chilli salt and pepper squid and Singapore fried noodles were delicious.

Inconspicuous eatery in central London. I'm usually left disappointed when I try far east food but not here. The starter platter has loads of different things and you can customise if you ask. Enjoyed everything on it tbh. Got some other dishes and noodles which were all quite good. Good atmosphere and excellent service.

Epic Malaysian food and all Halal. Although I didn’t order much, what I did order was exceptional and enjoyed every moment of it. The service was impeccable and even gave us a photo snap for my date. 4.8 out of 5

Extremely disappointed with our experience here. Booked a table for two. Servers were not particularly friendly. Dumplings were glutinous with not much flavour, also lacked filling compared to the amount of dough. Gratuity was added automatically and when we said we weren't very happy we were met with very little response. Would not recommend. Worst dumplings we have ever tasted and we have eaten a lot! Left before trying a main. Maybe the mains are better!

Malaysian food mix with some Chinese dishes. We enjoyed the spicy flavours of the dishes...especially the nasi lemak and the satay.

This is a nice spot in the heart of Kensington. Very nicely decorated with attentive service. Due to the type of clientele things like cutlery and plates is high end. They have portraits of the Malaysian King and Queen and the Bhutan King and Queen who came there during the recent visit. So you get the idea of who they are serving. Food was tasty. The downsides are that portion sizes are small, and the food is expensive. I appreciate that the price tag goes with the area however, when they brought out two spring rolls that cost £10.50 I was a little shocked. If you have some cash to splash this may be the place for you.

Quality food. Very expensive. Food had good flavour. Really hated the numbing peppercorn. It killed the entire taste. Drinks were good.

Given such a high end and celebrity to Royal spot, we couldn’t help but feel at home at Zheng restaurant. My wife and I and our two boys (5 & 3yo) were warmly welcomed; the staff are so accommodating and friendly. All the food was delicious with a very generous serving of the beef rendang my wife ordered. It really rounded our family trip day out with a wholly satisfied feel and tummies. Thank you for our Polaroid picture keepsake!
