We couldn’t have chosen a better vegan restaurant to go for dinner tonight. We had a great surprise. Not just the prices are very reasonable but the quality of the food is amazing, such a good presentation and taste is so worth it. Want to mention the place was absolutely clean and the customer service was impeccable. Lovely people working there. Thank you so much, we’ll definitely come back again soon.

Such incredible food coming out of a small, unassuming restaurant! I've always walked past this restaurant, even back when I was a kid like 20 years ago, and never thought too much of it - but I regret that! I can't describe how genuinely tasty and filling the food in Loving Hut is, it's no wonder they've been where they have for so long. You could easily fool even the hardiest of meat eaters here with Loving Hut's fresh, tasty, and delightful food. The food comes out super quick, and is so cheap for the portion size you get. Highly recommended!

The food was nice lots of options. The sesame toast was my favourite. Service was slow with taking our orders but the food came out fast. I didn't feel like the hygiene was of a super high standard and that could be improved but overall its a nice spot for vegan food.

Visited recently with a group of friends, it too a fairly long time for all of the group to arrive and decide what to order but the staff were pleasant and never pressured us into ordering quickly. We ordered 8 dishes from across the menu. The braised aubergine was particularly good. The crispy chilli 'beef' had a nice sauce but I couldn't taste or see any beef strips, it was just like crunchy strips of fried batter. The other dishes were really good, and the fake egg (in the rice) and fake meats/prawns in the other dishes were really flavoursome. Food was served quickly - 5/10 minute wait for each course - the restaurant was about half full at the time. The food was good value at ~£100 for 8 dishes and drinks. This place used to have a buffet and I'd love to see it return so I could try more dishes.

I love this place. Right now, I think it’s the best place to get vegan Chinese food in London. I always love coming here, and it’s one of the restaurants in London I go to the most. I can’t wait for them to reopen. Try they vegan Chili fried beef, it’s amazing. I only wish they would do delivery. I can’t wait for them to open again!

The best vegan Chinese restaurant. They have so much variety. You will be stuck for choice!! The sale and pepper soy chicken is delicious. They have vegan fish and chips! They have so many noodle dishes and lots of tofu and fake chicken drumsticks! The milkshakes are amazing and the chocolate cake is the BEST! Really yummy place and definitely worth adding it to your vegan list!

Really good vegan Chinese in North London, small and quick service. Issues I've encountered are two different rice portions when ordering exactly the same thing, portion size differing between mains and paying £3.00 for 30 pieces of chips (all but 3 on plate shown)

Wow! The loving hut is a vegans paradise for Chinese food. The variety was amazing and the taste was incredible. Service was fabulous, and the food arrived very quickly too. A lovely place for couples but larger parties would also accommodate here really well. Can't wait to visit again to try something different.

As a vegan I absolutely loved this place. I couldn't believe how delicious the dishes were. Very often vegan restaurants trade actual taste and substance to make it looks more like the real item but this place looked and tasted like the original dish to the point where its nearly suspicious. The place got hectic at peak times in. The evening with people waiting for tables and service a little slow but the food was well worth it. Ill definitely be returning.

Unfortunately we were so hungry when we arrived that we started eating before we remembered to take the picture. We ordered the crispy chilli vegan beef, vegan satay, fragrant rice and salt and chilli vegan ribs. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious! I only wish I had ordered a vegetable dish as well.

First off, I’m not vegan. However, many of my friends are, which is why we came to Loving Hut. The funny this is, nobody told me the place is 100% vegan so I assumed that the “chicken chow mien” was real chicken, from when I ordered, right through to after I had finished it. It’s indistinguishable from the real thing. I can’t comment on any of the other dishes, but what I had was some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever tasted.

Have wanted to try this place for a while - they were shut over the pandemic. Although it says closed on their site and Google they’re open Thurs - Sunday. Called and a nice lady gave me some suggestions based on what I like. Food ready in 15mins and was delicious. Can’t wait to try their “duck” and “spare ribs”

Absolutely exceptional quality Asian restaurant. I tried some of their 'duck' and it was beyond delicious. Their menu is rich and packed with delicious and unique food. It's a relief to know that there's no meat on the menu, so you can eat anything. Will definitely be back.

Food was amazing, laksa was huge and delicious, took me back to Singapore. Great value for money too! Staff friendly and wait patiently. Will be coming back, and will be bringing more people. Just FYI, one of the reviews said this was an ‘all you can eat’ is it not, at least not at 20:00 on a Wednesday. But like i said the quality of food is incredible for the low price. And the laksa was so big I couldn’t eat another thing anyway. I also had the brown rice tea (Genmaicha) had a beautiful toasty flavour to it. And the pot was big enough for a few full cups of it. Amazing little place hidden in Archway.

Ordered some takeaway last night as I was in the area. I had the mixed starter, *chicken with ginger and spring onion, and the *lamb in black bean sauce. Everything was really tasty save for the sesame toast which we felt was a but lack luster and the seaweed which tasted a bit greasy but everything else was spot on and I would definitely recommend a visit/order. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated and the staff were friendly, it's collection only so unfortunately not close enough to be a go to for me but if you live in the area your in luck as you have a very nice veggie Chinese on your doorstep, so go enjoy!

This place was incredible! We ordered 7 dishes and all of them were delicious and left us full. The prices are very reasonable and the staff were so friendly. The atmosphere was very cosy and peaceful, as you’d expect from a small restaurant, so perfect if you want good food without too much noise.

Lots of food, reliably vegan only, so in theory kosher too. Easy ambiance, very inexpensive, wierd and grumpy staff with terrible English (they are Korean). Delicious.

Between my housemates, we have now got loving hut three times since Jan 2022 and we just love it! Each dish is perfect and portions are so generous and fair priced. Fav dishes were salt and pepper 'chicken', satay chicken and crispy 'beef'.

Best vegan Chinese food in London! This is one of my favourite restaurants in the whole of London and I’m not even vegan! Some of the mock meats are better than others but the dishes are delicious! SUCH a hidden gem, I’m happy as soon as I walk through the door 😊

  • 5/5 Barnaby N. 3 years ago on Google
This place is amazing. There are not many fully vegan chinese restaurants, so this place is a real treat. I oredered the sesame toast, the mock duck pancakes and the special noodles. They were all amazing, I cant wait to order from here again

  • 4/5 Jo G. 4 years ago on Google
So rare to find a Chinese restaurant that is vegan! The food was absolutely amazing, the special fried noodles with mock beef, lamb and prawns - incredible, but don't come here expecting comfort or quick service. We had to wait a while for our dishes which arrived in no particular order, with no hot plates and so went cold really quickly. The restaurant itself is a bit messy and not very well laid out. It was draughty and cold and the lights were far too bright! As long as you prepare yourself for these disappointments and focus on the food - you'll be happy. It's such a shame though because it could so easily be five star, but it just falls down on ambience and service, with maybe too much reliance on 'Just Eat' income.

I have visited the Loving Hut chain in many different countries and always loved it! Really sad that Archway has been closed since March now, their food is very yummy and reasonably priced. It is nothing healthy so not something I would want to eat every day, but every time I go there, I LOVE every moment of it. The portions are generous as well. The only problem we have had, was language barrier as we were once wrongly accused of not paying the bill, because the waitress could not really speak much English - so this was a rather embarrassing experience -- but still doesn't change the fact that I am a loyal and happy customer and would highly recommend this place to all vegans AND non vegans alike.

I absolutely love this restaurant and was a regular since the days they were named Peking Palace. But unfortunately I haven’t been able to eat here for a few years since being diagnosed with coeliac disease and only wish they had gluten free options! The staff are so lovely and friendly, and my only request would be to cater for a gluten free diet so I can eat here again!

On the rare occasion I come here, I'm always surprised. Everything about here is brilliant. £7.50 for an all you can eat vegan buffet is a life saver. The chickpea curry is mind-blowing and I often find myself craving it in my free time. The staff are always very polite. Worth the journey!

  • 5/5 Sam T. 4 years ago on Google
We get takeaway from here all the time and it's always delicious. The 'duck' or 'lamb' pancakes are a favourite. Just be aware there is no delivery so you have to live close enough if you're going to collect.

  • 4/5 Muhid M. 4 years ago on Google
My first time trying a Vegan place. The sauces all tasted authentic. Good quality vegetables used and did not feel greasy. The meat substitute tasted great in the chicken balls and satay chicken, but not so great in the chilli beef dish or prawn toast dish. But maybe this os me just getting used to eating meat substitutes. Nothing was bad. I would visit again. Good portion sizes and good value.
