Room that I got the very first day had almost nothing to do with the one that I was presented with when I made the reservation (Space, views, distribution). I felt deceived. We were moved to a new room the next day that was closer to what I bought but still not what they shown in the website (not even close). POOR experience.

The gym is very professional. The breakfast is tasty. Food quantity and quality are both good. The only thing I am not satisfied is the room. We were assign to 3rd floor and the hotel has total 9 floors. We booked an ocean view room but felt cheated.

I am very happy that in the end I decided to book this hotel (after carefully reading the reviews)! The location and the view were perfect, the food in the restaurant was amazing (even room service), the staff was very very nice and always ready to help (even with little English, which was really appreciated), the swimming pool with heated sea water was very pleasant and overall we were very happy to be there. The only remarks are: the breakfast is overpriced (especially for Spain and for this region), the rooms and the hotel itself is a bit old and require renovation at some point, the prices therefore might be too high for these conditions (we were in Junior Suite: 2 adults, 1 child, 2 babies), however even with these points, I would not go for any other hotel in la Coruna and in the region. You were great hosts.-

For my 3rd visit to A Coruña, I decided to try a new hotel (I always stay up north at the Eurostars hotel - Which by the way is under renovation). Overall, the hotel is pretty nice. The staff is what you would expect from a 5-star hotel, very friendly and helpful. The location is pretty good, next to the sea and different bars/restaurants where you can also take a nice walk. The hotel has access to a Sports complex behind it (It's not part of the Hotel itself) where they have 2 salt-water swimming pools, a gym and Sauna. All of the premises are very well maintained. Room was overall fine (I stayed in one of the suites), bed was comfortable and the views to the Sport complex and sea were nice. The best part of all - The breakfast. Delicious with variety, including local products as well. 5/5 for sure. The only improvement I can provide for the hotel is to consider some renovations, as the hotel and room installations have visible wear & tear sections that diminish the sense of being in a 5-star hotel. Overall, I recommend this hotel if you're looking for a well equipped location (Gym, Swimming pool, sea view) in a more "centric" location.

Excellent place to stay, right on the harbour and next to the old town. Service friendly and informal but efficient. All staff were helpful.

Excellent place to stay. Comfortable rooms, good service, great breakfast. Very close to the old town. Big add on is free access to fitness club with 3 large outdoor pools.

Very nice hotel with good facilities and very comfortable rooms. Breakfast could be better - would not describe it as good value but apart from that the staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful, particularly at check in and check out. I’d recommend it and would stay there again if in Coruna.

Great location, wonderful breakfast buffet and access to the pools and fitness center next door. Great place to stay while in A Coruña.

Fantastic team. We stayed over Easter weekend for a wedding celebration. Beautiful view from the window, friendly and very well trained team, flavorful breakfast with a lot of options, we truelly enjoyed our stay. The only request would be if the restaurant can open for dinner a little early, we know dinner time in Spain is late!!

The reason for the 2 stars is that there was a small fire that caused smoke to fill the hotel. I understand that it’s not the fault of the hotel staff but they also didn’t so much to accommodate the guests. Smoke filled my room and it smelt so bad and was harder to breathe. I opened the windows but it was still bad, so I went for a long walk. When I came back it still smelt of smoke. In the morning I just asked if they could waive breakfast given the inconvenience and they just laughed and said no. Not the service I’d expect from a 5 star hotel.

We have stayed various times during the summer and it was great but this time we came during the winter and our stay was HORRIBLE, I do not recommend this hotel at all during cold months. They have the heat turned on in the entire hotel including the rooms and there is no way to turn in off or down in the rooms. We complained various times and they came up to the room and assured that the heat was off. We slept with the windows completely open and still were hot, not only hot but so much light in the room. It’s like they want to suffocate their guests with the heat, it is seriously impossible to sleep let alone be in the room. Please save yourself a bad vacation and bad time and do not stay here.

This is a nice hotel….but….1. The hotel information says you can get food in the bar after 4 but the waiter said you cannot. You can only get drinks if you call the bartender (bar was not manned when we were there). You can go out to the pool and there is some food there so that is OK but not as easily accessible and no English spoken or written anywhere. 2. there are only a couple of plugs and no USB ports in the room. 3. No English speaking channels amongst the 30 stations. Also none of them are German or French TV stations either. We tried to get subtitles but they wouldn’t show up on the screen. Now, none of this is bad mind you, but from something rated as a five star hotel I would expect a bit more in the way of amenities (however they DO have a very large gym with a nice view and a large outdoor swimming pool—I assume it is heated as there were two people doing laps on a December afternoon, but maybe not as I did not stick my toe in the water). I would stay here again I think so nothing bad but just not what I would think of as a five star hotel.

Great stay: comfortable beds, quiet, solid breakfast and access to 2 X 25m heated outdoor pools, large gym and in summer an additional 50m outdoor pool. Great atmosphere between old fortress and large harbor.

Great breakfast and good rooms - a very luxurious feel for a 4-star hotel. The views are pretty nice even though my room was more harbous facing, but it's nice. And from the breakfast room you can look out directly to sea as well. Another point is I left an electronic item in my room, which they found and shipped out to me - I had to pay the postage and I believe they do it within Spain only, but still, that's great service. The shipping company wasn't particularly helpful so it took sending it twice, but it was no bother for the hotel and I recovered my item. Thank you for that :-)
