Great place for eating quality food. Place was full and only one waitress for several tables, this made that we had to ask several times for the same thing. Despite this, I highly recommend the place !

The place worth it to wait in a waiting list. Hint: pls, make reservations in advance 🤦‍♀️ I love when the menu is short, it gives felling that people cook with more love, and it’s the case. Tasty octopus (In vary size), pepper padrón and another things include bread were sooo good! Highly recommended. Looks as family style cafe. Fast servings

I loved this place. We had delicious food and spent an amazing evening regardless of the horrible weather. Service was super fast and efficient. I would eat the sardines they prepare there every day.

Very busy if you arrive later in the afternoon, but the food is excellent. Best Pulpo we've ever had and the tortilla was excellent too. Served with fresh local bread. No real English spoken but menu on screens easy to translate

We ordered the pulpo that comes with potatoes and bread. It was fresh, simple and absolutely delicious! The house white wine was light and a perfect accompaniment, although the beer - 1906 (de barril) - was also a great choice. We went in the evening so the atmosphere and lighting was very pleasant!

Exquisite octopus and the tortilla too, for those who love a tortilla to be on the under-cooked side. Just delicious. Prices are not cheap but quality is excellent. Can get very very busy!

Extremely popular place. Food, especially the octopus was excellent but the queue was intimidating especially when it started to rain and people queuing outside came under the veranda. I had people so close to me I couldn't relax so hence 3* for atmosphere rather than 5*. The queuing for tables needs to be thought about & some kind of timed system in place.... Maybe tables in twos that could be put together (four/six/eight) for bigger groups... when we were there a lady on her own was sat at a table that was set for four. We were a two on a four table...as were quite a few other couples... Mind you not for me to tell a successful business how to do things..

The food was awesome and so was the staff. The price however, was a bit steep for some of the served portions. All in all still one of the best places to visit if you want to taste pulpo à feira (octopus as traditionally done in Galiza)

I know that this is Galician pulpo and it is the way here, but my husband and my girl, Crazy Izzy make it better! The service was horrible, but the company was so much fun and that's what really matters. Overall, we had a great time!

I have to admit, I was expecting A Pulpeira de Melide to be medio-tourist trap. It was recommended in so many blogs, by our AirBnB host and a friend of a friend. And now I know why. We didn’t eat much here (wanted to grab a small afternoon bite before a planned multi-course dinner), but every single plate was WOW. This place is special, and a MUST on any visit to A Coruña. We had: 🍷 Red Wine: “Mencia” 🐙 Pulpo 🦪 Oysters 🍰 Savel Cheesecake Order ALL of the above, and you will NOT be disappointed.

Loved the Pulpo a la Gallego, so simple, so tasty. Great atmosphere, but be prepared to wait a little, as it is very popular.

One of the best food in A Coruna, just that you have to wait alot to get the sitting space. But in the end you leave happy because the tasty food blossoms your inner soul.

Delicious food, everything we ordered was incredible (el pulpo, ensalada de tomates y costilla de cerdo). A bit expensive but definitely worth it and it gets crowded, so need come early.

Delicious pulpo con cachelos (octopus with potatoes), nice atmosphere. Bit pricey or a bit of smaller portions than other places, but good quality! (Not a full portion on the photo)

One of the classics in La Coruña with loud lively ambiance. The cheese cake was actually a much better treat than the Octopus. It had a twist of blue cheese like Gorgonzola and very creamy texture. I’d go back for the cheese cake not the octopus.

Everything is delicious! However for a typical Galician restaurant the portions are way too small! The tortilla, the clams and the pulpo are delightful!

Friday night and this place is rammed. My wife’s mother in law is from Galicia so we are used to good Pulpo. This place serves excellent pulpo. Very very good. The service was very good.

Very good quality sea food, creative fusion of traditional galician recipes, very popular among locals. Never imagined that oysters go so well with sweet taste - oysters with lemon ginger sorbet are highly recommended, it's a discovery !

Everything we tried was delicious. I will eat lunch and dinner for the rest of my life there.

Very good prices. One of the finest octopus I have ever had. Perfect for an "easy" lunch or dinner with friends and/or family

We love this place. Even though stuff takes a long time in attending you and bringing your food - they are always busy- the wait is worth it. Pulpo, pimientos, black tomatoes. Everything about this place is delicious. If you are in the area and don't mind waiting a bit for your food then you need to try this place. Just super yummy

Good food, fast and local product. Perfect for any day and with plenty of local dishes to try in the menu. Little expensive though. That is why 4 🌟

I don’t know what you guys are talking about this place. Not good pulpo! Chewy and fishy. Male Server dropped an oily fork on my lap and said nothing.

😠 This place looks fancy and it's kind of expensive. But when asking for a Stout or a Porter beer, the waiter, Alfredo, just said: I don't even know what you're talking about. And not with the best attitude.

👍 We had fries and sea food. The waiter was very nice and the food also. The place is very windy so you have to take car of your things. We went for tapas and some drinks. Recommended.
