No frills spot that seems to be an institution in A Coruna. What might be lacking in decor and presentation, is made up for with the taste of the food! I had the tortilla, albóndiga, and milanesa and all three were tasty and only 1.5 euros! Great value for everything here.

Tapas are tasty and cheap, fantastic for a quick dinner. The atmosphere is not the best, but nice for a friend's night out. Busy, and crowed. Service is quick and diligent.

The food was delicious and very cheap! The food doesn’t necessarily look the most appetizing, but once you take a bite you’ll be very pleased. Definitely worth a visit.

Excellent for a quick "tapa" (appetizer) and a beer. Prices are excellent for the quality of the food. The croquetas remind me of my grandmother! The people working there are nice and friendly. As "coruñés" as you can get.

A traditional place, excellent tapas. Decoration is great, staff efficient. Space inside and outside. A real institution.

I came across this place in a travel blog and what can I say it didn't disappoint!! Clearly a place the locals flock to as lots of people on their lunch breaks.. We decided to do the English thing and order pretty much everything on the menu and I'm so delighted we did! We spent €20 which included more small dishes then a pregnant woman with twins and her athlete husband could manage a pint of beer and a coke zero. My god the meat balls, squid and ham croquettes were insanely good, not ti mention the chorizo! Forget tapas in the UK this was another level. Super friendly and helpful staff which added to the experience... Honestly this place was amazing Toilets in the back which is easily accessible

We seriously rated this place and went a few times for a bocadillo with tortilla and one with calamari- so bloody tasty and most importantly, affordable and genuine place to eat. Service was kind, patient and friendly with our limited Spanish!

Really tasty and generous portions of affordable tapas right in the city centre. The place is busy, but the staff is very friendly.

Place was packed with tourists Probably, this place is popular only among foreigners and visitors from outside Coruña/ Galicia. Quality of tapas was mediocre though their service is fast. They don’t have vegetarian options except for tortilla de patata.

The house white wine is lovely. The calamari was nice and the service was really friendly and accommodating considering I don’t have the lingo.

Great place for a quick bite of tapas - super quick turnaround, so the food isn't exactly fresh or wide-ranging, but still pretty tasty and the place has a nice vibe

Having googled tapas in the area, this one stuck out because of the reviews. It didn't let us down. This place is so popular that within 10 mins of opening it was full!! We managed to get the last table. The tapas we had was all €1.60... Meatballs amazing. The large croquette was so tasty. The Omelette was cooked perfectly. All dishes came with very thin scollops of potato lightly fried. So glad we popped in for lunch whilst visiting this wonderful city on a cruise... We will be back

Super busy place but the tapas are excellent. Good price and great variety and quality. The croquetas are excellent there. They’ve been in business sun 1937 and their food has not changed. It’s delicious. You must go.

Good place to stop for a quick beer and snack!

It's got nothing for me since there's hardly any qualityto the food and prices reflect the sizes of portions, no service since you've got to get the food yourself and carry it to wherever you find a seat...

Good cheap tapas, very rude waiter. I don't get the hype, really, there are dozens of better places in the area

The tapas were fantastic and a good size. The place was packed but understandably considering the food and prices. We had to stand to eat as there were no tables free. The staff seemed overworked and stressed. Even so they we're polite and efficient taking into account the conditions. If the wait hadn't been so long and we were able to sit the full five stars would have been an easy decision.

Real authentic Galician tapas and nice cold beer served at impressive low prices. It is not the traditional you get what you pay since the prices are quite low and the food quality is impressively high, perfectly crafted and well prepared with high quality ingredients. I understand tha there is a variety of liquor but beer is good and also cheap, there are different options from the draft to choose from.

This place was a classic. One of the former must places to go, but not anymore. Food is still cheap, but it's not that great anymore - especially with so many new places around. Too bad. Loved this place, but it's off of my to go places.

Its a clásico of Fast affordable Tapas. Standing most of the time as the place is tiny with few and small tables. Must visit

🫤 Do not go for the 20 euro brunch, it is not worth it and they will serve you bland sandwiches and call them "Fingers" with the lame excuse that Fingers means Sandwich in English. This is FALSE - I am American and in no menu does "Fingers" mean sandwich. We do have something in English called "Finger...

👍 We had fries and sea food. The waiter was very nice and the food also. The place is very windy so you have to take car of your things. We went for tapas and some drinks. Recommended.

👍👍 I must admit I only went here because it’s the ‘official’ restaurant of the brewery. If it had been anything else, I wouldn’t have gone. I’m glad I went because it was great! I went originally around 14:00 and there was a long line so I came back around 15:30 and didn’t wait. I ordered the burger an...

😠 If you want to be treated badly and wait for your food order for a long time, I definitely recommend O'Sampio. I waited quite a long time with my family while other customers were being served. Finally I wanted to pay for the beverages and leave ASAP. The waiters has a very bad attitude. I recommend...
