The town hall is a beautiful and impressive building that of course dominates the square. During our visit they were setting up for a classic music festival over a few days. We enjoyed a lovely coffee and a zero beer in the square, taking in the surroundings and people watching. A must if visiting A Coruña.

When you leave the port and walk along the promenade the square is hidden behind the first row of restaurants and cafes in front of you. The square is huge and you are surrounded on all sides by official buildings and apartments.Very similar to Prague or Brussels there's some really nice architecture here. The Maria Pita monument stands proud on a big plinth and is a great photo opportunity. The story of Maria Pita is interesting too. When you walk out of the square be prepared for a good walk around the old town.

Interesting visit, buildings look different with the glass facades. If you look closely you with find some Art Deco facades. Enjoyed the experience.

Located in the heart of La Coruna close to the Port. City Hall is also located there, as well as many dining and ahopping options. Also an open air concert courtyard.

Nice open space to sit, have a drink and watch the world go by. The town hall building was very grand but no videoing allowed. Little cobbled streets leading off to the many churches, beach or cruise terminal.

Large plaza that every guidebook tells you to visit, only to marvel at a huge town hall. It is huge and to be admired, but the place is more exciting if there is an event going on. E.g. a display of old firetrucks. 🚒

Amazing square. In port area new buildings which I didn't like mixed with old one in middle. Not attractive city really. Old Town I've seen better elsewhere and it's all uphill

Great burger. It's probably the best we've eaten one Icelandic ground beef and one ground ribeye. You eat your burger with a fork and k ife.

This to me is one of the most beautiful city halls in Spain. You know the story: big square, cute small streets finishing there, bars with patios around ...but maybe it is because of the weather or the colors of the walls, but this place is different. Must visit. (All pictures taken with Pixel 3 XL)

Lovely Plaza, it's still early morning so the buzz has yet to start.

The place is very nice during summer. There are restaurants nearby where you can chill and enjoy the view. You can also buy souvenirs on some shops close to the restos. Plaza is perfect for doing funny and awesome poses.

Beautiful square, with a older architectural build’s around. There are a lot of bars however the attendance is not good at all, we need to go there and keep foods and drinks ourselves.

Had a lovely lunch in one of several cafes on the square. Watched people strolling and kids playing. There was even a kids roller hockey team practicing there. Relaxing, family fun!

Incredible Public Square in the heart of the City and next to the Old Town of A Coruña. Spectacular A Coruña City Council Offices. Plus the 8th degree longitude line in the square.

Nice and ample size for a square and offers a handful of restaurants for varying appetites. Located a block from the docks. Nice place to grab a meal or drink while you charge your batteries.

👍👍 One of the best parks in the city. There are many locations within it to rest, have a barbeque, sunbathe or do the exercises. A strong smell of eucalyptus makes the experience absolutely unique and astonishing. I would definitely recommend it.
