My daughters have also been fascinated. I recommend the visit 100%

The House-Museum is the house where the famous writer Emilia Pardo Bazán lived. The author is characterized as a woman of illustrious origin, growing up in various genders, with an active presence in the society of the time. This building is located in the Old City of La Coruña. Through the different rooms, visitors will be able to learn about the figure of Pardo Bazán, diving in his life and work, as well as the historical context of A Coruña and Madrid in the second half of the 19th century and delve deeper into the traces visible today. From the writer. The house where the writer spent a large part of her life, which houses the headquarters of the Royal Galician Academy by the express will of the countess's heirs, in gratitude to the institution named honorary president since its foundation on September 30, 1906.

Highly recommended. A woman who, like everything, you have to know to be able to appreciate; and, also, with a specialist guide who has answers to any questions about it. Thank you, Xulia!

A very interesting visit to enter the great world of this feminist writer. The woman who welcomes you into the house-museum and gives you the initial explanation does so with knowledge and passion that is contagious. For the visit you must reserve an appointment.

A good opportunity to understand the 19th century bourgeoisie in A Coruña and the figure of the writer. The furniture is original and so are the fixtures. The visit is FREE, which is an incentive. Beautiful views of the Church of Santiago from the back window.

The museum is located in the former residence in A Coruña of the Pardo Bazán family, which is also the current headquarters of the Royal Galician Academy. This was decided by the last of the writer's descendants, her daughter Blanca Quiroga, signing a donation text that talks about exalting and perpetuating the memory of the distinguished Galician polygrapher and writer. Emilia Pardo Bazán (1851, A Coruña - 1921, Madrid) is one of the greats of Spanish letters; Among her works, Los Pazos de Ulloa (1886) stands out, but she is also a precursor and collaborator of numerous initiatives in favor of Galician culture, highlighting her independent and proto-feminist spirit. The museum aims for the visit to be dynamic and proposes different activities depending on the characteristics of the people who visit it in order to bring the work and figure of Emilia Pardo Bazán closer.

(Translated by Google) Closed on December 31 in the morning. No mention of that schedule on their website. It's a shame to go to Coruña wanting to visit the Museum and find it completely closed. The tourist information point is also closed on January 31, 1 (holiday) and 2.

As always, I went to a museum and it's closed, despite what the hours show online. For the record: the summer schedule is 9am-215pm Monday thru Friday. Winter (September thru June) 9am-245pm and 430-745pm

👍👍 One of the best parks in the city. There are many locations within it to rest, have a barbeque, sunbathe or do the exercises. A strong smell of eucalyptus makes the experience absolutely unique and astonishing. I would definitely recommend it.
