Large impressive plaza where several concerts took place. Lots of entrances and exits so easy to navigate around.

Large plaza on the side of the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela. Many pilgrims and visitors congregate there and on the steps leading up to the upper part of town. It's a very relaxing environment.

The place itself is a nice one, but it is a mess. You have pilgrims’ mass ongoing and pilgrims flowing into cathedral and at the same time you have street entertainers with loud music which kind of ruins special atmosphere. Disappointing in that sense.

It's a good spot for taking photos or reading a book. You can sit on the stone benches against the wall or on the stairs. Lots of different languages spoken and a lot of people who pass by there - and dogs. There are tables out there for coffee or beer or wine. At the top of the stairs there are other cafes for dinner. Great place to hear the sound from the summer concerts as well. Overall it's a beautiful area to hang out at.

Protected to the weather, this place is the stage for many street performers. Perfect to end the day.

Nice hotel in Padron, with friendly service. Close to a railway but due to the double glass windows, no noise at all

The cathedral is impressive and sitting or walking around the plaza adds to the overall experience of being in Santiago.

One of the most beautiful places,I've ever been to! Every 2-3 months I can't help visiting the cathedral and walk the lovely streets and squares of Santiago.

Great architecture everywhere, amazing atmosphere and pilgrims everywhere. Fantastic moment to arrive here. Do not miss if you are a pilgrim or not.

A beautiful big square but the best feature for us was the masked guitarist who plays on the terrace. It costs nothing to sit on the half-wall and listen to the beautiful music emanating from that guitar. He packs up at 17.00.
